Qui_Gon and Count Dooku felt the Jedi council allowed themselves to be under the rule of the Senate. Qui-Gon allowed the Force to guide him, something the council didn't do!!
I've watched this video over 10 times now, and it's so moving for some reason. His true profundity in the star wars universe is so over-looked. What is this song playing in the background of the video? I love it
Qui-Gon Jinn is such an interesting character in that he's essentially the ultimate student of the Force itself. His status as a Jedi came second to his personal devotion to understanding the Force and through it, understanding both the universe and the life that existed in it.
@Clutch7 Nope. Plagueis did though. Not while Palpatine was senator but during Qui Gon's time apprenticing under Dooku. He actually pegged him as a major threat that early because they got into a debate about the nature of the Force and Plagueis even wound up impressed by his insight. Even complimented Dooku on his apprentice. When he became a master they tried to avoid him because he had a very good chance of seeing through them. Palpatine did attend his funeral though.
Thinking outside the box gets so much more done, in a manner of speaking. Rigid systems only last so long, as you need someone to not necessarily upset the balance, but to compliment it with new ways of approach. Grey Jedi are so much more interesting. George really thought of everything.
@Jason V To tell the truth, nobody really cares what Disney has to say. He is making a comparison between the old guard and the new and making the statement that it simply does not compare.
Another fine lesson on how knowledge, both instinctively and in regards to insight, both personally and externally, is the greatest and most superior form of power in the galaxy...
i mean, a lot of the videos are theories and speculations, it isnt impossible that he just wants to shed light on åossibilities to how sideous felt and acted around different jedi. this is afterall only a possibility, we have no confirmation
He looked forward to fight Yoda as he was greatest user of light side. Looked down on battlemaster Windu and this is reason he lost to him, because he wanted to defeat him in lightsaber combat to humiliate him... And only the stupid do not fear - You forget fear gives more power to dark side user. Palpatine feared not QGJ but only his insight, because he was capable to see trough his plan. And only reason his plan failed is QGJ demanded Obi to train Anakin. If Anakin trained under someone else the outcome would be victory of the Sith lords. And btw only reason Obi was able to become Jedi is QGJ. Obi lacked "necessary minimal talent" and no master wanted to teach him...
I thought palpatine would fear obiwan for being with anakin and obiwan could have made anakin out of the dark side. And since obiwan killed darth maul.
saljpal3 obi wan wasn’t average at all. He was one of the best at lightsaber combat.he was called THE master of soresu by mace windu. a form which ,if mastered, makes it nearly impossible to break its defence. that’s why a vader, who was way more powerful in the force than obi wan got beaten by him on mustafar. obi wan did also beat maul and grievous.he was also very wise and had a lot of knowledge about the force and he became one with the force after his physical death which sets him above all average jedi. so yeah kenobi ain’t average at all

I find this kind ‘wishy washy.’ If this is true, Palpatine may have feared him because he was more of a grey Jedi and would have tapped into powers most Jedi would not. I think Mace and Gin were the few Jedi that could have defeated the Emperor.
Jin would have exposed Palpatine before his plans came to fruition, before or very early on in the Clone Wars, that's why Palpatine feared him. He wouldn't have to defeat him, at least not in combat anyway, even if they couldn't capture the Sith lord his ability to manipulate the galaxy and the Jedi would be almost completely diminished

It`s not about power, but how good Qui-Gon was at understanding people and situations and that`s where Palpatine won. Jedi were so disconnected from the reality that they were easily outplayed by Sidious. Their Force magic and combat skills didn`t matter in the end.
It would make sense that if he feared Qui-Gon that much, he may have even orchestrated the sending of Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan to Naboo in the first place. Knowing full well which Jedi he was ordering the Neimodians to kill. Sending Maul after them was a contingency plan. Which he of course had to fall back to. Wraith Dtrane Gotta hit that 10 minute mark and stay monetized.
Chris2Hikari You beat me by 3 weeks
Also a way to ensure journalistic integrity
Normally I would agree with you but this video is barely an example of that... This dude has some MUCH more egregious offenders.
This guy tends to repeat himself a lot
Qui Gon is by far the best Jedi because he realizes the faults of the Jedi order
No. Palpatine feared Obi-Wan, because he had the greatest ability of all time: The High Ground.
It feels like Qui Gon would of been one of the first Grey Jedi Masters had he lived on into further films.
Qui-Gon has holy energy.
he is space jesus
Qui_Gon and Count Dooku felt the Jedi council allowed themselves to be under the rule of the Senate. Qui-Gon allowed the Force to guide him, something the council didn't do!!
According to this channel, everyone in Star Wars is TERRIFIED of everyone else.

Anakins Padawan, Ahsoka, ended up abandoning the jedi order and only followed "the force."
Could this maybe be related?
The only thing we have to fear is fear itself
I would really love to see a series entirely dedicated to exploring the character of Qui-Gon. To see him as a young Padawan and then as a Jedi Knight.
We need a Qui-Gon Jinn Disney + Series...
thanks for showing me this, i also love this subtlety of the star wars universe. you have made qui gon jinn my new favorite jedi.
Qui Gon would have found him, and killed him.
James Day I don’t think Qui-Gon is powerful enough to stand up against Sidious’s might, but he likely would’ve found him after the battle of Geonosis.
I've watched this video over 10 times now, and it's so moving for some reason. His true profundity in the star wars universe is so over-looked.
What is this song playing in the background of the video? I love it
NeXT: The Only One sidius fears the most is Chuck Norris!
Then he would be terrified of the one who killed Chuck Norris, a.k.a Bruce Lee!
Lmao!! Have you heard what happened after Bruce Lee jerked off in the sleeper bed of a Freightliner 18 wheeler?
---Optimus Prime was born.
@@dantearto Bruce Lee didn't kill Chuck Norris, Lee broke Norris' arm.
Qui-Gon Jinn is such an interesting character in that he's essentially the ultimate student of the Force itself. His status as a Jedi came second to his personal devotion to understanding the Force and through it, understanding both the universe and the life that existed in it.
The real reason why Palpatine feared Qui-Gon is because Jinn had the highest ground
What does higher ground mean?
There's a reason he and Palpatine were never in the same place at the same time. Favorite Jedi, hands down.
@Clutch7 My pleasure.
Qui-Gon Jinn the Witcher!
QGJ joining the separatists as a hidden good guy would have been a very interesting progression of the series
Qui-Gon the wise they say. if it will be successful anakin could be on par with yoda and the jedi could be unstoppable.
Thinking outside the box gets so much more done, in a manner of speaking. Rigid systems only last so long, as you need someone to not necessarily upset the balance, but to compliment it with new ways of approach. Grey Jedi are so much more interesting. George really thought of everything.
*Doesnt mention Rey as a Jedi master*
Me: he is still the chosen one
Lmao the REAL chosen one was Anakin Skywalker and thats a fact
rey isn't a jedi master. I don't care what anybody says; she isn't
@Jason V To tell the truth, nobody really cares what Disney has to say. He is making a comparison between the old guard and the new and making the statement that it simply does not compare.
Jason V Fuck Disney
Rey is a jedi, but definitely not a Jedi Master, maybe not even a knight.
Another fine lesson on how knowledge, both instinctively and in regards to insight, both personally and externally, is the greatest and most superior form of power in the galaxy...
Bruh Palpatine feared everyone according to Stupendous Wave.
Luke Price The dark lord of the sith afraid of someone who was killed by his apprentice.
@@deva.1525 He feared Qui Gon's special set of skills.
i mean, a lot of the videos are theories and speculations, it isnt impossible that he just wants to shed light on åossibilities to how sideous felt and acted around different jedi. this is afterall only a possibility, we have no confirmation
It makes sense to fear alot of poeple
That is one of the core emotions from the dark side
Qui Gon Jin and Revan are the only ones who can truly train and understand Anakin Skywalker.
I thought palpatine would fear obiwan for being with anakin and obiwan could have made anakin out of the dark side. And since obiwan killed darth maul.
Obi Wan was an average Jedi in every sense of the word. They only thing he was good at was taking advantage of peoples egos.
@TheCeilingFanCollectorHD But in star wars rebels he did
@TheCeilingFanCollectorHD he did but then fanboys cried and they resurrected him
TheMail518 ah but Qui-Gon trained him making him more powerful than Kenobi
saljpal3 obi wan wasn’t average at all. He was one of the best at lightsaber combat.he was called THE master of soresu by mace windu. a form which ,if mastered, makes it nearly impossible to break its defence. that’s why a vader, who was way more powerful in the force than obi wan got beaten by him on mustafar. obi wan did also beat maul and grievous.he was also very wise and had a lot of knowledge about the force and he became one with the force after his physical death which sets him above all average jedi. so yeah kenobi ain’t average at all
He was open minded which is dangerous and unique. Unpredictability is a great equalizer.
This is my OPINION:
They should really bring back QGJ in the upcoming Kenobi series.
I've been a fan since the new hope came out. I've learned alot more and still learning from all of these videos and other articles ive3 read since more information has been made public and learning from family and friends who really know about the Starwars sagas. Thank you for sharing and for future sharing.

I find this kind ‘wishy washy.’ If this is true, Palpatine may have feared him because he was more of a grey Jedi and would have tapped into powers most Jedi would not. I think Mace and Gin were the few Jedi that could have defeated the Emperor.
Louis Varre thank you bro a lot of ppl I think don’t know mace winduchistory and why he wields a purple saber dude was an elite fighter.
@@smileymomod.4311 He has a purple lightsaber because Samuel L. Jackson(actor who plays Mace Windu) wanted do have a unique sword because he wanted to see himself in the big fighting scene in the 2nd episode
@@lukaukic1475 true, but in canon now it means a jedi can use dark side ability/power and stay in the light as well
It`s not about power, but how good Qui-Gon was at understanding people and situations and that`s where Palpatine won. Jedi were so disconnected from the reality that they were easily outplayed by Sidious. Their Force magic and combat skills didn`t matter in the end.
Qui-Gon Jinn had the particular set of skills to put fear in Darth Sidious...
Jinn served the force not the republic
I love Qui Gon. He wasn't held down by Jedi dogma and followed the living force and will of the force wherever it took him. Awesome
Why would Senator Palpitine be afraid of the Jedi order
It would make sense that if he feared Qui-Gon that much, he may have even orchestrated the sending of Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan to Naboo in the first place. Knowing full well which Jedi he was ordering the Neimodians to kill. Sending Maul after them was a contingency plan. Which he of course had to fall back to. Probably why he had to get Dooku and other malcontents to lead the CIS, he knew the neimodians would go along with it, but couldn’t be in charge coz they’d wimp out. xD
Well apparently Qui-Gon didn’t in fact have the high ground...
*Clone wars break out*
Quigon looks over at Palpatine: "You lookin hella sus"
He was a gray jedi, that’s what made him so amazing
What is a gray Jedi ?
@@absalom0412 a Jedi that believes tou should stay in the middle of things instead of being completely on one side
What’s the name of the piano song playing in the background ? It sounds very soothing.
Palpatine was evil itself he WAS the image
I was both surprised, but ecstatic that Liam Neeson played Qui Gon!!! Awesome video; thank you very much!!
