bro I specifically came back to this video after doing the settings to say thank you!!!! I can't be happier, at the minute I can't afford a decent gaming PC and would always been whining that I can't even play or enjoy playing Fortnite on my GT1030, I just run a game and it feels like I got a new PC, visibility / smoothness/ FPS so much improvment, THANK YOU SO MUCH, YOU ARE STAR BRO!
Ikr, but he's just reuploading his old video tho 😂 Still pretty appreciate that the video is still here, I've listened to this over and over again every time I did clean install with my drivers.
This guide didn't change it, but I was that guy for a bit running 60 hertz on a 180. The difference is Immense in perceived smoothness and how fluid things look and feel.
Be a bit careful with these settings guys, they can in fact improve your performance in some games, but may also cause issues in certain games. Have had several optical bugs in a game and actually worsened performance in another. If you're having these issues, just reset the settings to default
@@lehoufa1997 the light bug is from the extra sharpen setting he had u turn on at the start of the guide. all u have to do is delete shaders then redownload them which happens once u relaunch the game. in the original vid where he first came out with this sharpen improvement he went over this, not sure why he didn't here.
thank you SO MUCH. I had micro-stutter in Warzone like from 10s-15s between and it drove me crazy! I think it was cause i have "on" on "low latency mode". So i turned it off and now my game is SOOOOO Smooth. thank you again
This is the absolute BEST Nvidia Control Panel Settings for Gaming guide that ACTUALLY works well! I just have 1 question. For "Power Management Mode", I have (Optimal Power, Adaptive & Prefer Maximum Performance) instead. My default is on Optimal Power so I'm assuming that's "Normal"? or is it better choose "Adaptive"? Thanks in advanced
A note he didn't mention during the video, that may be of importance to a few of you: If you choose to enable DSR factors, keep in mind that once enabled, if you were using a custom resolution (for example, to overclock your refresh rate) , DSR will revert you back into native, and you will be unable to set a custom resolution with DSR factors enabled. So, if you're using a custom resolution, best to leave that setting off.
Awesome! Although my Nvidia control settings had slightly different option, I changed as many as i could. Super easy to follow and this has made a massive difference. Cheers!
Thank you so much! I had big massive performance issues lately. Back then when I purchased this laptop, I can run ArmA 3, Apex Legends, and Warzone fine, but after watching and optimizing my settings from more of these types of videos I was having performance issues (which I'm guilty of tbh like 'why should you change your settings when it's already smooth?'). Awhile ago, me and my brother was playing ArmA 3 and this issue is still evident and annoying so we stopped playing for a bit and I came across this vid. and holyyyy it gave me a huge performance boost. To anyone asking what my specs are I'll share it to y'all: OS: Windows 10 System Manufacturer: Acer System Model: Nitro AN515-54 Resolution: 1920 x 1080 x 60 hertz Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz, 2592 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s) GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 RAM: 16 GB (I bought this Laptop ever since April 2020)
My same rig except I5 9th gen processor, decided to play Cyberpunk and even though ran good on medium settings, I knew I could tweak it more through Nvidia settings, just needed some data, glad I saw this vid. I added 32 ram set and swapped the hard drive for SSD, little red machine running latest games pretty well when I can keep it from droning off when things get hot, damn fans man...😅
Hello, I am very grateful to you and thank you. This video is the best tutorial on settings that I have ever seen and done. Unique and completely correct, the quality and clarity of everything became real and excellent. I wish you the best, brother
Much thanks for the tutorial buddy, I'm definitely going to give these settings a try, and thanks for being so thorough with your explanations of each setting.👍
Thanks for the help. Was facing issues running MK 11. Now things run smoothly, specially after fixing the max refresh rate. In my case I have set it to 100 fps. The complete UI experience has been enhanced.
I am soo thankfull for this video I can finally play modded cyberpunk, lexactly like in those photorealist video's😭 Thank you soo much🙏 You've defintly earnd my like and subscribe👍
I'm looking forward to trying these out I used your last setup before and my games look great and I see some things have changed I assume because games and the way they play keep changing, in other words keep up the good work and thank you very much for sharing !
Love these Nvidia control panel setting videos that you do yearly. I build, flip, and sell PC's and with each one, I watch your videos. Thanks for another updated one! keep it up man
I messed around with that before and all I got from it was some apps trying to give me a seizure despite not having epilepsy. Never again. I only make just enough changes to avoid Screen Tearing.
Just a disclaimer about Threaded Optimization: My CPU has 4 cores. On most games that I would play, only 3 of these 4 cores were actually used, and yes, it did make a very noticeable difference on my FPS. But the worst part is that it wasn't consistent, for example, one day I would be playing Sons Of The Forest with my friends and all my 4 cores were pulling their weight, leaving my FPS mostly stable. Then, the next day, I would play SOTF again and for no reason at all my 1st core would not be pulling it's weight Cores 2 and 3 would be at 100% usage, core 4 would be somewhere around 90% usage and core 1 would not even go above 5% usage. This would also happen with some other games like Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. So not only my CPU was being limited, but it also was not a consistent behaviour. So, for my case specifically, I left the Threaded Optimization ON, instead of Auto. Now all my 4 cores get used in any game. I mean, I already have a small amount of cores, why would I kill one of them and make me have even less?
its a shame that u have 81k subs u deserve at least 1m subs man focus a little bite more about the videos quality , your videos are perfectly balanced explaining the details much appreciation
I made these changes and the screen started flickering all over. In particular, TH-cam was going crazy. Do you know what might be causing this? Anyway, I reversed all the changes that I made. Well, after starting by adding the same settings, I did add back some changes to find out what was causing this. It turned out to be Background Application Max Frame Rate. I turned it off and TH-cam was working back to normal. Anyone know why? It's been recommended by almost everyone to do this. What could be the problem? I have an Intel 14900KF, 64BG Ram 5600 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090.

People with ryzen 5000 and above make sure to update your windows and get free 10-20 fps. You don't have to download the insider build 👍
yeah i aint updating to a beta release of almighty buggy windows for 10-20fps, not when im already reaching 300-500+fps in the few games i play
Even if you're rocking with a Ryzen 3000 you're good since this windows update also increases performance for Zen 2 CPUs.
@@laszlozsurka8991 i dont think it goes back that far
does that update only impact windows 11
