    Funny I was gonna suggest superglue and baking soda for that cracked trim piece lol

    I don't know if you already solved this but... The little mystery piece you found goes in the glass recess in the front part of the window opening just below the curve, with the tab on the external side of the window. I'm guessing its purpose is to catch the glass and redirect it back into the track if everything isn't quite aligned when you roll up the window. Not all Samurai's have them, I'm not sure if it was something that was added to later models to correct an issue, or removed because they're unnecessary. You can also see it on your car in the video linked below. It's the little black tab that protrudes into the window space, kind of near the brim of your hat as you're backing out: th-cam.com/video/PLmkne7DHCo/w-d-xo.html

      Dude!!! Thank you! I don't know if both sides had one to begin with but my passenger side is not lining up. That's exactly what it needs. They also notched the felt right where that goes and I couldn't figure out why. It all makes sense now. I hope I kept that piece in my glove box, if I did it'll solve my problem for the passenger side window. The driver side rolls up great. Thanks so much!

      Definitely gonna change that, whether it be a wrap or paint, not sure. Well I can't do paint good enough with what I have so it'll either be primer or wrap. Really wanna play with some wrap, it looks really cool to work with!

      Probably so. It would just be the strip around the "panel". Not sure I like the diamond plate. It's kinda hacked in there. Might check pre-made door card options or maybe make my own. So much to do! Just kinda trying to check off one thing at a time. It failed emissions so today I kinda looked at that. The muffler is clogged, exhaust comes out the leak in the front. I literally plugged the tail pipe with an apple and it still ran lol, then I tried a banana haha. Then I sent a borescope up the tail pipe. That'll be in tomorrow's video. Then had some fun dropping the windshield to check the ground on the wiper motor. I think I got it wiping faster now lol.

      somtimes a good tune up helps emissions. timing , plugs ect. personaly i think the emission thing is crap. just another tax to keep you under a thumb. good luck@@FixLife119

      @@numbskullskills Oh, gotcha, yeah I just needed something that barely poked out the top and bottom so I could get the diamond plate back on. I was gonna try to flare the one side with a C-clamp but it didn't work. That's when I resorted to the superglue /baking soda. Woulda used JB Weld but it takes too long to harden and woulda dripped down.

    yeah, crazy world were livin in these days, If you dont know Jesus might want to look into him. bet your eager to see if the rattles stop, yet how it could raddle with them screws lol

      @FixLife119  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yup, everyone better get right with God soon, me included. It still rattles somehow. In tomorrow's video when I turn the idle down at the gas station before failing emissions the passenger door is rattling like crazy. Then I stick an apple up the exhaust and it still runs with no flow out the back, then I take the windshield out, it's a good one lol.
