Right hand door trigger for the dome light - smart design and construction.
Hello again, sorry to bother you but you will have to dismantle the dashboard handle and place the top of the ashtray in the slot if you want it to be correct. The work is never done, but you are doing a good job. I don't know if it will be sold or for personal use, but if you use it you will realize that the work paid off, they are fun to drive for those who like the type.
I only sold mine because at the time my business was going bad and I couldn't pay the lease. After that I had a second-hand Daihatsu Terios but it was never the same. Thank you for reading and responding to my comments.
Oh bummer, hopefully you'll have another one some day. So the ashtray does go how I was thinking? That's what I thought but wasn't sure and my roommate kept telling me this is how it goes. I might be able to get a tool in there to loosen that dashboard handle. I'll try. Hey thanks for letting me know, I appreciate you.

when its chilly i like to hit the part first then paint then use the heater some more then say crap its zero maybe i should of waited, nah pant some more. the big jobs like the floor do get bad when you cant see progress so its nice to do the little ones to get that gratification. nice job buddy
Yeah, I know better. Well actually the part was only outside for a couple minutes before I painted it. It was in the house for a few hours before that, prob still too cold to have painted it, but it's kind of a problem of caring lol. Na, I guess in my head I was just thinking the colder it is the longer it'll take to dry. Not... the colder it is it won't stick to the part long term lol..... I wonder if that's what happened to the drivers seat...na, cuz now the passenger one is doing it too.
it dont matter if its cold just cant get down to like im not sure as long as not freezing itll be fine@@FixLife119
@@numbskullskills Yeah, and I bitch that it's cold anytime it's below 50° lol. It prob only hits freezing here like 10x a year, usually Jan/Feb. Everyone goes out and covers their plants with blankets lol. We get "hard freeze warnings" on our phones haha.

- Imagine how powerful/strong the smoking lobby was in the days leading up to the mid 1990’s. Up until the mid 1990’s we were allowed to smoke everywhere. As a 15 y/o I flew to the USA smiling in the plane as well as in movie theater!
I think SAAB was one of the first to remove the ashtray from their cars and others were soon to follow suit.
The space of the ashtray could find far better use than for cigarette buts. Right?
If you’re not a smoker, I’d say, leave the ashtray as is and use the pace for a later device way better than stupid storage of cig-butts.

Funny you say that, it showed up today, but I'm still waiting for the bezel deal that it gets mounted in. I'm excited for that as I think it'll tie the whole dash together.

Some of their stickers came with some parts I ordered off Ebay so I guess I've bought from them. I've seen some of their videos. I think he drinks Miller High Life right?

@@P.Trim69 Story of my life. Oh well lol. Someone else said I need to remove the dash to access the back side of the dash handle, the top lip of the ashtray goes under that. I might try to get a tool up in there without removing the dash. I guess I should just convert minutes to hours... if I think it'll take 5 minutes, I should budget 5 hours lol.
