For anyone watching this that is still using an old version of OBS for whatever reason (I use 27.2.4 because it's the latest one that works properly with Destiny 2), you won't have Application Audio Capture under Sources. To get that same functionality, you need the free plugin "win-capture-audio", then just follow what he does in this video but with that plugin. Cheers.

need to reduce your bit rate for streaming so you have room for audio bits

You would have to mute the whole game then for the vod, uncheck number 6 on the game audio in advanced properties
