OBS Updated to 30.1.2 recently, if you are having problems installing the plugin make sure to install the latest version of the plugin. Here's a direct link to that version of it. All the steps are the same as the video still. github.com/sorayuki/obs-multi-rtmp/releases/tag/0.6.0.1

I only watched the first half because I kinda had to do it yourself once the setup part started because I am streaming 4k on TH-cam but needed to be 1080p on Twitch; also needed to find a Twitch URL which is harder than it seems, much different from YT, and etc. But dude the simple codex, and even the tip about the box somewhere easy with dock unlocking - absolutely easiest thing I ever did, compared to what I expected.

If I am having 2 overlapping live streams, just pre recorded videos on the same TH-cam channel, do I need to create another stream key? How to do so while the first stream key is active?
OK Im still new to OBS, but I have a question:
I recently had to get a new PC as my last one was fried after a storm. There was a previous Multi-Dock that allowed me to stream to my site as primary stream and youtube as a secondary optional stream. Once I started streaming to my site, I could start the youtube dock. OBS would ask for name, thumbnail etc and create the stream without the need to open YT...
What happened to THAT dock?

i want to stream on twitch and yt do i have to put both in the multistream thing
does the plugin support different encoders for different platforms like av1 for youtube and QSV h.264 for twitch if you have an arc card for example?
You can chose different setting for each platforms so yes but I have tested it for myself.
Will this automatically update the activity feed or will i need a plugin for that as well?

It could be, but I'm not sure. I don't know too much about OBS portable.

it works.. kinda. i am able to stream on my main channel & 2nd channel simultaneously but couldn't get it to stream on Facebook at all. the only thing about trying to stream on my 2nd channel was that it would stream, but it would show my previous livestream's title & thumbnail during the stream. so I had to go back and change it after it was over. if i try to schedule the stream ahead of time (with the current title & thumbnail) it wont work at all. so overall it does work (at least for YT channels) but still has its issues.. thanks though!

Unfortunately, you will have to change the title and category for each platform. Its kind of annoy but not the worst thing.

Bitrate for multi stream on twitch and kick?
Under my docks I don't have the "Multiple output" option. Did they change it?
Can you stream in HDR and Multi at the same time? Particularlly the new service that youtube has for HDR?
You probably can, but I haven't messed with HDR, so keep that in mind.
How does moderation work? Can it still be handled through OBS or do we know have to have the individual services opened on the side?

How do you feel about using Av1 to TH-cam and Nvidia Nvenc for Twitch when multi streaming? I have a powerful stream PC but have not seen any details about using two separate encoders for both platforms
You could do it but I haven't test what might happen so if you have a Intel GPU and Nvidia GPU. There's a chance it will work but isn't worth the price to performance since a 3060 12Gb can do 4 platforms with no problem.
@@TechGrant I have a 4080 in there but not sure if it can handle av1 and nvidia nvenc.
@@AverageMatty If you have a 4080 then it most likely can but you will need to test it since I don't have a 4080 to test with.

Hey Grant, is there anyway that you know of to be able to pull multiple chats into obs? Like for example if I am using this and Kick is my primary stream input and I add TH-cam and Twitch as through the multi output what would be the best way to view their chats as well? Would they all just integrate into the kick chat or is there something I need to integrate? Thanks in advance!

how do get the vertical screen for tiktok
I wanted to use restream but I need youtube to be 10k bitrate and twitch 6k bitrate...the plugin works great BUT when I try to stream to a 3rd site such as kcik my encoder overloads.
I tried using the plugin to stream to restream and twitch and have restream stream to youtube and kick but the encoder still overloads....if I want to stream to youtube at 10k and restream to twitch and kick at 6k...how do I do that without it overloading?
I cant choose select from OBS since youtube is set to 10k and the others need to be lower...I have the options AMD HW H.264 AVC h264_fallback.amf and AMD HW H.264 AVC h264_texture.amf under encoder
@JeansGaming You might be running into a few options:
1. You gpu probably don't have enough VRam to encode multiple platforms. You make it so you stream 6k bitrate to each platform or lower the resolution to one. From my testing, if you use a single pc setup, you need at 12gb vram to go live to 3 platforms, but if you have a dedicated stream pc with 12gb vram, then you can 4 or more with ease.
2. I have noticed that AMD GPU Driver do have some problems with streaming, but I'm not by how much they can affect multi streaming.
3. You could have an upload speed limitation if you don't have more than 1gb or over 900 Mbps upload speed.
You might have limited yourself to 2 platforms at worst-case scenario.
@@TechGrant I have the rx6900xt 16gb vram and its a single pc setup...seems I was doing it wrong...I went and made restream my primary streaming service in obs and then streamed to kick and twitch form there at 6k bitrate each and then used the plugin to stream to youtube at 10k bitrate and this time it ran without any issues at all :)
I think the 1st time I tried it, OBS was basically encoding 10+6+6....this time it encoded 10+6 and the 6 gets restreamed from restream which doesnt tax my system :)

Do you have to have a certain upload speed, or does multi streaming like this require more speed than streaming to one platform?
Depending on how many platforms you want to stream, too. It will times your upload speed.
Are you able to see if anyone chats on all platforms in one box or we would need to have multiple windows opens with everything to see who chatting?

Unfortunately, there is no way of setting up your title and category for all your platforms in one place. You need to set each them up manually.
I Don't have file edit view dock profile at top of my screen I don't have how do I get to work around that plz?
