    **Frequently asked questions**
    *Does this work on Streamlabs OBS?*
    No
    *Do I require Voicemeeeter?*
    No
    *I don't see the Twitch VOD Setting*
    Check the video chapters
    *Can I use copyrighted music with this?*
    Legally speaking, no, however because there won't be any music in the VOD the chance of a DMCA takedown is reduced. It does however not change anything about the Livestreaming of copyrighted music.
    *How can I capture alert sounds?*
    Assuming your alerts are coming in through browser sources.
    Open the browser source setting of the corresponding alert and enable 'Control audio via OBS'.

    So after I create a special scene and call it Audio Control, and add all my applications, should I copy it to all my scenes? Or with only Audio control is enough for it to work? and What if I switch scenes?

    If I´m using dual PC with NDI this can be done in the streaming PC? Or I´m forced to do the audio control in the gaming PC? And also does this gives input lag as the cam does when gaming or not?

    • @GreenBoxMedia
      @GreenBoxMedia  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For this to work OBS needs to run and stream on the system that is generating the sounds. So your gaming PC.

    @JustCheg ปีที่แล้ว

    It's a great video, but it won't work for quite a lot of creators. See the problem is, your Spotify goes through Desktop Audio as well. So do alerts, blerps and similar stuff. This means basically that you don't have to make this many audio sources, you need in-game audio (for all of the games) and Discord if you want it. Your music will be part of the Desktop Audio anyways, and you will have to mute it in track 2 alongside all of the other alerts and blerps.

    • @GreenBoxMedia
      @GreenBoxMedia  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you use a desktop / audio output capture you can not seperaten sounds Coming through desktop without the need for additional software like Voicemeeter.
      The only way is to get all your audio sources into your OBS using seperate inputs. Including telling OBS to manage Audio for all your browser sources like Alerts as well.

    I have the GoXLR plugged into my gaming PC and the XLR runs to the stream PC. So all audio is coming from the GoXLR. Since I only have 1 audio source in OBS (in this case, which is the GoXLR) is it even possible?

    I am using the Wave 3 mic and the software that comes with it. I am wondering if it will do the same thing or if I should just not use the software and only use this built in OBS option. Thanks for the great video.

      I would do the combination. Use the wave link for everything that goes to the vod and OBS for everything that does not go to the vod.
      In other words put music on a track I'm wave link that only goes to your headphones but not the stream mix and add the same music to OBS for the live track vod track.
      Here is a basic wave link tutorial:

    Is Twitch VOD track only for Twitch? What about TH-cam, Kick, Rumble and other streaming platforms? I'd like to avoid using voicemeeter for other platforms if possible. Also Great video but there is one thing I didn't see in this video. What if I want to keep my spotify or game audio at a lower volume for myself but I want it to be louder for the stream audience? This setup doesn't allow me to keep the audio levels separate. If I try to lower spotify volume for myself on spotify for some reason in OBS the volume meter decreases for the whole stream.

      This is a twitch exclusive feature no other platform uses this. If you want to mix with different volumes you will 100% need additional software like Voicemeeter.

    I work OBS from my Mac and I tried adding spotify and it never shows up even though I have the window open. Am I doing something wrong?

      Yes, using OSX. 😅
      The audio capture is only working on Windows at the moment. For Mac you would use a third party virtual audio mixer like sound flower.
