I have an old Dell enterprise projector, at 1024x768 60hz, 3000 ISO lumens (bought for $30). It's a bit disappointing that at $1600, you only get 2400 lumens. They couldn't fit in a big, efficient 3000 lumen LED lamp in that form-factor and price? It matters a lot during the daytime to keep the image vivid, and not washed out as the projector kills the contrast to keep the image bright. I would also rather save $50 and not have a junky Android TV interface.
@@manofadventure2000 LEDs are much more power efficient (around 100 lumens per watt), so logically they should be able to get more light in the same form factor, at the same high prices as my enterprise projector was in 2006.
i got this and was blown away , I get a 16 ft picture that is stunning an that sound coming from the box freaks out everyone. Worth every penny as I just point it at the huge cathedral wall and it compensates for the color gray very veryn nicely. Seeing my stock charts on my computer is Insane , an shocking, Great review. I hope to see more cool things we can do with it.
The best projector review 2024. Not many people dare to project so many ways, especially project to the ceiling... So cool and wicked to lay on bed to play game or watch movie
I use to do the same thing with a very cheap projector and I've found that I kept falling asleep when I tried watch something while laying in bed. It's too comfortable.
First issue: daylight. For example, an attic room can't be completely dark because of the roof-windows, also, you can't let any daylight into the room. Second issue: I have green walls. This only works on clean white surfaces. Third issue: lifetime and heat production of the bulb in the projector. I'd be worried about these. Fourth issue: the price of a decent projector which can stand the constant usage.
If you watch the whole video, you'd quickly figure out that all your concerns are taken care of already: 1. The projector auto adjusts and increases its brightness for daylight. 2. The projector adjusts to the color of your walls and adjusts colors accordingly. You just have to enter a setup menu for it. 3. The projector uses lasers and LEDs, not Halogen bulbs. The exterior is also room temperature due to this. Technology has finally moved on. 4. The price is apparently close to the cost of a large 4K TV. If that TV is OLED based for black levels, it could be unusable after some time due to screen burn-in.
I haven’t used a tv in probably over 15 years. I love projectors. Use it for gaming and streaming services, TH-cam, etc. The tech is way better now also. The projectors now last way longer and are much sharper. I project my LG on a lite sandy brown wall and it works awesome. You don’t need a special white screen..👍🏽💥
dude just found out that projectors exist. I have been using an Epson projector for some games for years, I even played the Witcher 3 on the projector, I specially bought 3 LSDs because of the low image delay ( at that time there were no normal laser projectors yet and even more for a good price )
@c5x6xserx11z1uxse glasses reduce eye fatigue, I have a Xiaomi Qukan, and also when I switched to a wide curved monitor, I use the projector more for movies now, sometimes it’s cool to play a witcher or lara croft
@c5x6xserx11z1uxse according to the study of a swiss technical university on TV Lamp and Laser projectors, the indirect light of laser projectors reflected is safer than TVs, just dont look into the while it's on. People on eink subreddit have found relief with it, 1 guy recommended a model
Yup, it doesn't even make sense for a gaming setup. You can't put it behind because you'll block the projector so you have to put it sideways like he did in the video which degrades the quality significantly
Interstellar is my favorite movie. Also I could only see a Guinea pig with something in its mouth and the only word I could read fast enough was experiment. Based on the context I assume it said something about an experiment on how many people would be able to read it.
you need to be very, very rich to own this and a hoise with lots of space🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣,, i prefer to stay cheap with a simple gpu connected to a very cheap mini pc that i converted from chrome to windows 11 and connected to my 43 inch tv with hdmi that still works!!!

The projector is about the price of a large 4k television. Which is honestly a steal!
I guess for the same price I would take the projector.

Differnt technologies, led vs bulb, and then you have 4k vs 1024x768 which no one wants why it's dirt cheap.

Can it work upside-down to make use of the mounting screw?
