For anyone watching this video with Pro 2s, I would STRONGLY recommend using default stereo for 99% of listening, and leave spatial audio (either version) off except if the audio you are listening to is designed for it (or for experimenting with the emulated spatial features for fun). Spatial audio can result in an ”immersive” experience, but an experience that is not exactly accurate or as the artist intended. Stereo may sound like your soundstage was shrunk at first, but typically is the best way to get the peak quality of your AirPods for music and most movies and podcasts.
I agree I honestly prefer stereo over 3D audio 90% of the time unless I’m gaming or watching a movie, standard TH-cam vids and most of the music I listen to (classic rock) just sound better in the stereo they were made for
This is terrible advice. There is no such thing as “as the artist intended”, because they probably recorded and mixed everything over large monitors in a studio, by your logic we shouldn’t be using AirPods because that’s not how the artist heard their music being made. Just do what sounds best for you guys.

im considering them and the Sony 1000xm4. has anyone used both and can tell me which one i should choose when i mainly go to the gym and runing? i love listening to music most of the day so battery wins in Sony but what about sound and comfort? thank you!
I have both wf1000xm4 and AirPod pro 2. The pass through on the AirPods is better, overall sound quality I like my Sonys. I like the case and earbud charging on the Sonys more because it’s easier to keep the charging pin locations clean.
@@natebarts3226 if I’m being honest. AirPods have really good anc. Less cabin pressure feel. I’m mainly a Samsung user, but I have Apple and Samsung phones and other devices. If you have an iPhone definitely go with the AirPods. If you have any other phone get the Sonys.
Consider alternative options like Bose or Sony for better longevity. My experience with the AirPods Pro was disappointing. Within the first six months, I encountered persistent crackling noises. Although Apple provided a refurbished replacement, it came with recurring issues, including mismatched AirPods notifications and location-sharing alerts with the original owner. Despite multiple visits and resets by Apple, the problems persisted. Eventually, when the crackling returned, Apple's limited three-month warranty for replacements left me without support. The quality of the AirPods Pro seems subpar, and it's disheartening to see no proactive measures from Apple to address these known issues.
5:17. With Jabra 65t and the Jabra Elite 7 Active it was the same exact way for me, I had to definitely get used to the noise cancelling feature, Which took quite awhile when I had the 65ts but with the Elite 7 Active’s not too long. It’s definitely worth getting used to because it’s a great feature. Jabra is an amazing brand, high quality and great for listening to stuff, the mic quality in the earbuds just ain’t there for talking on the phone tho, So even tho I have a brand near pair of Elite 7 Actives, I also just ordered my first ever AirPods, the AirPod Pro 2s today. I was gonna go with the 3rd Gen but after seeing reviews and watching reviews and after seeing another video’s mic tests (Max Tech’s channel, judging the 2s’ mics), yeah, had to go with the Pro 2s.
I have a question for you: I got the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, those have ANC too, but, when I walk at the beach everyday with the ANC active, I hear a lot of wind noise, that's why I stoped using my Buds 2 Pro, and I'm currently using my old trusty Buds Plus with passive noise cancelation because wind noises are not a problem. So, with these AirPods Pro 2, do you have experience this wind noise problem anytime? I'm asking 'cause I'm buying an iPhone next month and I need to know if AirPods Pro 2 are a good buying too
Personally, I never really had problems with wind noise. I use my pods alot of times around beaches, rides on open vehicles, and loud noises, never heard them overpower anything especially with ANC.
On active noise cancellation or spacial audio I am now getting an annoying feedback squeal. 😖 it wasn’t always like that. Just recently. Very disappointed
if you want the best longevity out of ur battery I would not use wireless charging. its super inefficient, and like 1/3rd of the transmitted power gets wasted as heat in the coil which means its just going to stress the charging circuit out. maybe not that big of a deal for the pods themselves but the case. the reason it has to be slow charging is because of the rules of entropy, the faster you try to pour water from one cup to another, the less water you get in that cup. and when youre doing it with an inefficient process to begin with you get exponential diminishing returns and harmful heating. if you want to preserve the case battery you should slow charge it from another power bank. u can get 2000mah slim metal pocketable powerbanks now for 3$, no excuse
@@millel1986 ya I like charging sensitive things from a computer's USB A (original square one) port. They tend to default to lower current, most old computer towers will just always output 200-500ma current which is about 1/5th to 1/2 the current compared to the old ~2010 iphone cube charger (1Amp/1000ma). the fact that it comes from a DC source already means the change in current is handled mostly by the computers voltage regulator and I would expect the heat to be a lot less. good idea. you can also buy those usb cables with built in power meter for really cheap, ~2-3$ from china if its a usbC device.
Hi i have a question. Is it normal that on AirPods Pro 2 with transparency mode on and Music Playing (50% volume) I can hear someone talking but i cant understand exact words because of Music? Is it normal or my AirPods are wrong?
To me the AirPod Pro 2 stems aren’t any good for volume control. This is yet another case of fixing issues that weren’t there. I will never use them, as using my smartphone simply is faster to me. Other than that, I have to agree. I got the AirPods Pro 2 together with my iPhone 16 Pro Max and that ALMOST makes the Lighting Connector a thing of the past. I still have an iPad Pro 2nd Gen, and a Magic Keyboard with lightning connector, but at least on the iPhone side of things I’m no longer forced to have multiple cables with me, just in case.
I bought the iphone 15 and a few days later got an airpods 3. I had no problems with the airpods 3 but having to use lightning cable was a hassle. I Really thought it wouldn't bother me but it did. So I bought airpods pro 2 and so far so good.
When people praise and give 10 points for having volume controls, is that compared to previous airpods? This had been around on almost any earbuds for ages now.
Lol and I’m sitting here still with the AirPods from 2017😭 The left only lasts 30 mins and the right only 1 hr if I’m lucky. I requesting the AirPod pro 2nd gen for my bday this year.
I LITERALLY just bought a pair yesterday. Immediately noticed how the battery life is ass. On a full charge im not even getting 4 hours straight. It’s bad.
that is normal with noise cancelling headphones. basically how it works is that the earbuds use the microphone to measure outside noise, and then it plays the opposite of that noise to cancel out the noise. this sometimes results in a slight white noise effect, but it’s barely audible especially when other media is added
wireless chargins is more strain on the battery dude. There is a reason why devices get hotter while wirelessly charging. A good solid wire connection is the best you can give to any electric device.
i think the battery life sucks on them.. i get about 4 hours into a work shift and they are already down to 30% my between 3 ANCs i can go every bit of an 8 hour shift before they are even down to 60% if it weren't for all the quality of life features on the airpods while at work i would prefer my between 3s
I have 80 bucks cable in ears. And they sound way better then the Airpods Pro 2... And the PASSIVE Noise Canceling is awesome... With EQ they sound like 500+ IEMs..
its my first time saving up money to buy something expensive like airpods... (since im still a teen) so im buying it next week.. switching from crappy jbl earphones ;) im pretty excited as i tried my friend's pods2 and i really liked it, it would go well with my 14 pro!!
I got AirPods on sale for $199 at Costco. Noise canceling is amazing. Sometimes Siri function switches to sound function and I don’t know why. I have to go to settings and reassign to Siri. Other than that I have no problems. I would not have bought them if they didn’t include the new volume control feature. Thanks Apple
@@Messup7654yes anc can't block out this but the airpods pro 2 in my opinion blocks out noise way better than Sony xm5. This might be because they fit my ears perfectly compared to Sony xm5 that didn't fit my ears perfectly.
I’ve had mine for 6mo. Yes, I love the sound and functionality of them. But in the past two months, the charging case charge just seems to tank. I charge to 100%. And if I don’t use the AirPods at all, the battery in the case still drops about 20% daily. The battery in the AirPods themselves is fine. But the case looses charge for no reason. Two trips to the Apple Store, and they sent it out for service. Who found nothing wrong, and sent them back. Apple is useless in honoring their 1yr warranty. They didn’t even offer me a new charging case. So buyer beware.
@@weinser7278 i figured it out on my own. The issue started 3mo ago. Shortly after I purchased a wireless charger by ESR on Amazon. If I charge the AirPods via lightning cable, the case holds a charge just fine. So if you’re using a non Apple certified wireless charger like I was, charge it with the cable instead. Now the case charge with moderate use of the AirPods lasts me about 5 days between the need to recharge.
It might be related to an option (Iforgot the name) that let’s you track your airpods all the time, if you turn it off then that might save you some battery
My microphones stopped working now and the noise cancelling is barley there. Like my relationship with my high school sweetheart. It was good while it lasted.
Great review, for me they have only one mistake that does not apply to headphones Apple advertises 6 months of Apple Music for free, but you will not get that if you have ever used the offer of free apple music for 3 months for your phone! Quite a misleading ad. everyone who bought the phone before the headphones probably took advantage of the offer... And now they will NOT get their 6 months free
Until the mic quality is not getting better public (especially on public transportation) I wont even consider to buy it.. my airpods pro 1st gen mic is so bad outside
If you have the iPhone 15 but have the lightning AirPods, you can always use a Magsafe charger, Apple Watch charger, or really any wireless charger if you don’t wanna carry a lightning cable
I regretted getting these within the first 30 minutes. Not because of the tech but because of the fitment. I love the tech it’s great but because they are hard plastic shells they don’t quite fit my ears and I am constantly muting calls etc trying to adjust them so they don’t fall out. Tried all the ear pieces too
I have strange shaped ears... (not quite cauliflower ears but halfway there from rugby) So they are quite stiff if that makes sense, the airpods actually popped out on the first day but I havnt had that issue since so I was probably wearing them wrong, but the spatial audio drastically changes one ear from the other... most likely a "medical related issue" but yeah its a bit strange! Can't fault apple for them though, i just did it multiple times until it was all good!
I was walking to the supermarket in my town centre and some guy wanted to quickly sell his AirPods Pro 2 cos he was hungry and I told him I had only £10 on me and he was tryna sell it for 50, he gave them for only 10 tho and I never felt better😁
i HEAVILY disagree with the “turn on fixed spatial audio in control center” statement. if you want to hear what the artist intended, stick to normal stereo. all the fixed spatialized stereo does is put the audio into a fake virtual room with a short reverb added to it.
I thought there are big issues and regrets with this. Turns out everything is perfect except for the port. Really? People can’t live with different ports these days?
I just got my iPhone 15 pro max and I bought the new AirPods Pro’s 2 with usb c port. Not being able to afford to afford them previously worked in my favor. I use a MagSafe charger to charge my AirPods. Very convenient so I can use my cable for my phone.
Slips out of hands very often. Connects to iPhone when in case, music feels very flat, nice spatial audio, comes out of ears very often, fits in pocket very nicely, sound quality is less impressive compared to my much cheaper Sony linkbuds s.

even though its an hour drive for me to get to apple, i seriously think that they have the best support assuming you have applecare, which i have no problem paying 29 for 2 years coverage for when 1 airpod costs 79
Same i had my pro 1st gens for a year now and noise cancellation has reduced and i also hear crackling in them. I want to upgrade to the pro 2s but is it worth paying almost 200 dollars for?
I had my airpod pro 1st gens for a year and the noise cancellation has decreased on them overtime and i hear crackling from the earbuds. I wanna upgrade to the pro 2s but is it worth paying almost 200 dollars for?
Yes their worth it but a usb c version may come out with the iPhone 15 if you use usb c
im considering them and the Sony 1000xm4. has anyone used both and can tell me which one i should choose when i mainly go to the gym and runing? i love listening to music most of the day so battery wins in Sony but what about sound and comfort? thank you!
This should help ❤
Same question. I have sony xm4s. I also want to know if they are almost the same in terms of sound quality and anc feature.
I have both wf1000xm4 and AirPod pro 2. The pass through on the AirPods is better, overall sound quality I like my Sonys. I like the case and earbud charging on the Sonys more because it’s easier to keep the charging pin locations clean.
@@zZKableZz how about the anc feature?
The quality of the AirPods Pro seems subpar, and it's disheartening to see no proactive measures from Apple to address these known issues.
is the issue about getting some itchy sensation when using the silicone tips already sorted out?
5:17.
With Jabra 65t and the Jabra Elite 7 Active it was the same exact way for me, I had to definitely get used to the noise cancelling feature,
Which took quite awhile when I had the 65ts but with the Elite 7 Active’s not too long.
It’s definitely worth getting used to because it’s a great feature.
Jabra is an amazing brand, high quality and great for listening to stuff, the mic quality in the earbuds just ain’t there for talking on the phone tho,
So even tho I have a brand near pair of Elite 7 Actives,
I also just ordered my first ever AirPods, the AirPod Pro 2s today.
@@sev_004 thks for you answer
I have airpod pros 2 as well NEVER ever experienced problem with wind
@@sergeynazaro1768 thk you too
When walking, wind noise isn't an issue, unless it's very windy.
You do seem to hear a bit of the wind noise when cycling tho.
How about the calls?
Why did he start the video saying he could see problems with the AirPods without ever mentioning a problem?
He mentioned problems at the last category. Very minor problems though.
which version of iOS will AirPods have the function on the settings app? help me
On active noise cancellation or spacial audio I am now getting an annoying feedback squeal.
How do you waste water by pouring it fast unless your super careless and make it splash outside of the cup
Yeah pretty bad comparison. @@Messup7654
What about charging them with a laptop?

Is it normal or my AirPods are wrong?
i don’t have them but i’m pretty sure its normal
Type C port for Airpods Pro 2nd Gen is ok ...
But changing it to type C is not really a big deal for me
Also will be small adapters. Problem solved (:
great review .. man you deserve half a million subscribers ❤
this aged well I bought the AirPods Pro 2nd generation with type-C
is he not reviwing the 2nd gen
To me the AirPod Pro 2 stems aren’t any good for volume control. This is yet another case of fixing issues that weren’t there. I will never use them, as using my smartphone simply is faster to me. Other than that, I have to agree. I got the AirPods Pro 2 together with my iPhone 16 Pro Max and that ALMOST makes the Lighting Connector a thing of the past. I still have an iPad Pro 2nd Gen, and a Magic Keyboard with lightning connector, but at least on the iPhone side of things I’m no longer forced to have multiple cables with me, just in case.
awesome: charge with cable of apple watch slower, so less strain on battery
I bought the iphone 15 and a few days later got an airpods 3. I had no problems with the airpods 3 but having to use lightning cable was a hassle. I Really thought it wouldn't bother me but it did. So I bought airpods pro 2 and so far so good.
When people praise and give 10 points for having volume controls, is that compared to previous airpods? This had been around on almost any earbuds for ages now.
Lol and I’m sitting here still with the AirPods from 2017😭
The left only lasts 30 mins and the right only 1 hr if I’m lucky.
I requesting the AirPod pro 2nd gen for my bday this year.
Definitely not worth it, pro is also sucks
@@speedygfx7291 to each their own I got my pros and I love them can’t live without them nor go back to regular AirPods
I LITERALLY just bought a pair yesterday. Immediately noticed how the battery life is ass. On a full charge im not even getting 4 hours straight. It’s bad.
Hello, have you noticed white noise with noise canceling? For example, in a quiet room
that is normal with noise cancelling headphones. basically how it works is that the earbuds use the microphone to measure outside noise, and then it plays the opposite of that noise to cancel out the noise. this sometimes results in a slight white noise effect, but it’s barely audible especially when other media is added
wireless chargins is more strain on the battery dude.
There is a reason why devices get hotter while wirelessly charging. A good solid wire connection is the best you can give to any electric device.
Mine has static and "they cannot repair" it anymore
i think the battery life sucks on them.. i get about 4 hours into a work shift and they are already down to 30% my between 3 ANCs i can go every bit of an 8 hour shift before they are even down to 60% if it weren't for all the quality of life features on the airpods while at work i would prefer my between 3s
Arthur what is the smart ring you are using atm ?
I have 80 bucks cable in ears. And they sound way better then the Airpods Pro 2... And the PASSIVE Noise Canceling is awesome... With EQ they sound like 500+ IEMs..
I wish they would come out with a black set.
AS a PRO 2 ueser these are the best purchase of my LIFE ❤
its my first time saving up money to buy something expensive like airpods...

Can you hear voices and conversations with anc on?

Same problem here can you report the issue to Apple please
@@weinser7278 i figured it out on my own. The issue started 3mo ago. Shortly after I purchased a wireless charger by ESR on Amazon. If I charge the AirPods via lightning cable, the case holds a charge just fine. So if you’re using a non Apple certified wireless charger like I was, charge it with the cable instead. Now the case charge with moderate use of the AirPods lasts me about 5 days between the need to recharge.
It might be related to an option (Iforgot the name) that let’s you track your airpods all the time, if you turn it off then that might save you some battery
I have a problem with my airpods not the case. I don’t have apple store in my country😢. Next week Im gonna buy airpods 2 as my back up earphones😊.
My microphones stopped working now and the noise cancelling is barley there. Like my relationship with my high school sweetheart. It was good while it lasted.
But will they stay in your ears during vigorous exercise?
Do you still like them? Is it worth it?
Great review, for me they have only one mistake that does not apply to headphones Apple advertises 6 months of Apple Music for free, but you will not get that if you have ever used the offer of free apple music for 3 months for your phone! Quite a misleading ad. everyone who bought the phone before the headphones probably took advantage of the offer... And now they will NOT get their 6 months free
My AirPods Pro gen 1 lasts only 2yrs cos its battery drains irregularly and abnormally! Not sure gen 2 last how many years! 🤷🏻♂️
Until the mic quality is not getting better public (especially on public transportation) I wont even consider to buy it.. my airpods pro 1st gen mic is so bad outside
I have no issues indoors with mine, my friend can be outdoors and doesnt have issues even while fishing with the first gen ones
Now that we have adaptive audio, it all makes sense
Can't fault apple for them though, i just did it multiple times until it was all good!
battery life just sucks for me, I'm charging them constantly, I don't even think I'm getting the 6 hour battery life and they're brand new
guys i want buy a airpods pro gen 2 but also i want play video games on windows can i feel any delay (pc has bluetooth 5 )

I love my Pods2❤ Way,way better than I thought they would be. Going on a year since I paid the big dollars at the Apple Store at the release.

i HEAVILY disagree with the “turn on fixed spatial audio in control center” statement. if you want to hear what the artist intended, stick to normal stereo.
all the fixed spatialized stereo does is put the audio into a fake virtual room with a short reverb added to it.
The casing is easy to scratch
I thought there are big issues and regrets with this. Turns out everything is perfect except for the port. Really? People can’t live with different ports these days?

Great job !!!
Airpods pro - worth money for sure 🔥
Slips out of hands very often. Connects to iPhone when in case, music feels very flat, nice spatial audio, comes out of ears very often, fits in pocket very nicely, sound quality is less impressive compared to my much cheaper Sony linkbuds s.
