Great that Elon has finally said „We definitely need to increase awareness“ even when he is just talking about Japan.
I hope the management will learn through their trials what we already know, that the lack of awareness is even presented in the US, Europe and elsewhere.

Hi Rob. I’ve been listening to Tesla Daily for the last 3 years. I looked forward to your insights and analysis. I’m watching the reaction on the stock market today after the earnings call and I’m scratching my head wondering how this can be. I know that Tesla is executing at an extremely high rate. Their production rates, innovations, product lines and strategies are far ahead of everyone else. So why does Wall Street continue to downplay what is going on with this company? Elon has not failed to deliver what he says he would albeit not good with timeframes. Most people who understand Tesla know it will be the highest valued company in the world within a few years. I want to thank you for having kept us informed on the latest Tesla news as well as in the automotive industry. I already miss the TD updates. Thanks again, Dan Truman

Regarding advertisement, I didn't get the feel they were dragging their feet or acting with reluctance. My take is that, just like in other areas of the business where efficiency is their main driver, they are just looking for the sweet spot to maximize ROI and they haven't found it yet.

Stock will slowly deflate this entire year. Nothing material here to move the needle.
Maybe nothing apart from the most important, wich is the rate cuts( and they are coming this years)
I wonder if an issue with the order rate conversation Cybertruck is influenced by how many early orders had many people trying to order ten at a time, and if Tesla is moving through customers with one truck at a time.
I imagine many who ordered many wanted to resell them.

wasn't DOJO supposed to be the magic bullet? It almost seems like an afterthought now.
The "targets" required for Musk's compensation plan were ludicrously high at the time they were made known.
The fact he has amazingly achieved such merits being paid out.
How many companies have easier performance targets to get paid out??? 99% of them.
Why should shareholders support Enol's idea for the Board to give him more shares which DILUTES the value of shares currently owned by shareholders? This after E sold $22bill in TSLA about a year ago driving the stock price down to 1/3 what it had been. The price still hasnt recovered.
It's possible that Dojo is not performing as well as the newer NVDA chips. That would be disappointing, unless Dojo can be purchased at scale for a lower price than NVDA hardware. Really hope they make something of it. Tesla seems to expect others to crack FSD eventually too, but if someone else gets it done before Tesla I would be severely disappointed.
Here’s what I heard re: 4680
One line operating. Two lines testing out improvements. Another lime being commissioned right now. AND 4 more being installed starting Q3 this year. So will have a total of 8, from a current total of one (not including the two testing lines).

About "panels gaps" in ads you say that you using new AI system validate cars, so they are perfect. Even if they do it already, most people don't know. It not so great as clarity, but it would make some people check it.

I wouldn't say we need a hardware shutdown on the bot. For privacy reasons I would prefer to see a switch to disconnect LTE, camera en microphone power.
However if the bot is smart enough, would it be able to physically overwrite the hardware shutdown?
How will we manage to stay confident in Tesla during 2024 without anything to look forward to and without Robs calming words.

Initial Optimus production in Austin during second half of 2025 strongly implies that the South Extension of the main factory is for additional space needed for Optimus production.

1:31:46 The call was fine if you are looking at long term, but gives investors not much to look forward to in the short term. FSD is the only potential catalyst of 2024 since they aren’t interested in growing market share by any means outside of dropping prices.
Everything felt muted and less inspiring... The short term looks really bad right now and i was hoping for a catalyst to improve the stock... but this will probably just make the stock keep going down maybe all year.
