Congratulations on your new car! The A10 is an awesome transmission, it shifts much quicker than I could shift a manual. If you can and are eligible, attend the Mach 1 Track Attack program. You'll see just how fast and capable the Mach 1 is on a race track. 👍👍👍
I have a 6 speed 21 with handling and appearance packages, love it! Def underrated on hp, sounds amazing and a bargain for everything you get! Took 9 months for me to get it, fortunate I ordered on 1st day I could bc I likely wouldn't have gotten it. Congrats on yours, great purchase!
Do you know if that newest 2024 model they showed is gonna be the latest one since Ford is going all electric? I'm looking to get the latest Mustang that's gonna come out. Of course a GT or a Mach. Convertible forsure
The new S650 Mustang will be powered by a 5.0 liter Coyote or on lower models a 2.3 liter Ecoboost four cylinder. There is no hybrid or electric option at this time that I'm aware of for the 2024 model. There will be a convertible in both base and GT models. Also there will likely be a GT performance package model. The four cylinders have only the 10 speed automatic available. The GT has either the 10 speed automatic or the 6 speed MT82 manual transmission. However, the Mach 1 seems to be gone, replaced by the new Darkhorse model. The Darkhorse is essentially similar to the Mach 1, but the new generation Coyote 5.0 liter has been revised and offers 500 horsepower, backed by either a 10 speed automatic or a 6 speed Tremac transmission. There are some other minor changes, but that's the information I have at this time. The internal combination engine is alive and well for the new generation Mustang. Beyond that, I'm not aware of the Mustang going all electric. The only electric "Mustang" currently available is the Mach E. That's more of an electric SUV, than it is a true Mustang. I hope this information helps.
I'm very much looking forward to going to the Track Attack! I'm scheduled to attend very soon. There is so much capability built into these cars, I can only imagine how the track experience will play out! 👍👍👍
I have the 2022 Mach 1 manual with almost 9,000 miles in 3 months this is the best sport car I have owned I can’t stop driving it I get compliments all the time
Well said sir! Thanks for taking the time to share the current review. As I was listening I couldn't help notice that the driver side exhaust is lower than the passenger side. My FJG sits the exact same way. I plan on trying to remedy this as soon as I can find the time. I'm a subscriber to your channel. Be safe out there.
Thank you for the kind words and subscribing! I really appreciate that! Yes, I noticed my exhaust is sitting a bit out of kilter. I'll have to check that out soon. Not sure if they're all like that. If you happen to figure out why the exhaust sits that way, please let me know. I'd be very interested in knowing why. In the meantime, I'll be enjoying my car as much as possible! Cheers! 👍👍👍
Always wanted a yellow 73 Mach 1 , came close to getting one years ago but was just out of budget and the guy wouldn't budge. I ended up getting the Bullitt in late 2019, really awesome car, but when I saw they were making these shortly after I got my car it was one of those "go figure" kinda moments aha! Would have taken a yellow Mach 1 if it was available at the time I was looking around. I mean, I love my Bullitt though, and wouldn't trade it for anything. Glad you be enjoying this car!
Thank you, I really enjoy my Mach 1. Initially I was looking for a Bullitt Mustang. I missed out on buying one on three different occasions back in 2019. Bought a GT convertible instead. That was a great car, but used car prices were crazy last fall and I cashed out. That lead to me buying my Mach 1. The part of your post that resonates with me is that you wanted to buy a '73 Mach 1. It was the red Mach 1 in the James Bond film Diamonds are Forever that got me interested in Mach 1s way back. I finally got my Mach 1. It's blue, not red, but I love my car! 👍👍👍
What is a benefit of getting Mach 1 10AT vs GT 10AT? I'm honestly asking because I'm really interested in the Mach 1. If I get the Mach 1, it would have to be 6MT because I've heard the 6MT in the regular is garbage. I'm a big MT fan but I've heard incredible things about the 10AT. I'd love to hear back. Thanks
The Mach 1 is a very different car than a GT. There are many improvements built into the Mach 1. The front suspension is the same as the GT 350. The rear is the same as the the GT 500. The magnaride is tuned specifically for the Mach 1. The exhaust is the same as the GT 500 as well. The tuning of the 10R80 is different than that of the regular GT. Also, the Handling Package cars have extra oil coolers for the engine oil and transmission fliud as well as a rear differential cooler. Think in terms of the Mach 1 being a worthy successor to the GT 350. The Mach 1 also borrowed the cold air intake and intake plenum from the GT 350. Besides all that, the Mach 1 has the Tremac 6 speed if that's how you want to go. Overall, there are a lot of differences between the GT and the Mach 1. I drove a Tremac equipped Mach 1 at the Track Attack. It was a lot of fun. But, the automatics were quicker on the track everytime. After my experience at the Track Attack, I was very glad that I bought the automatic over the manual. But to each, their own. I any case, you can't go wrong buying the Mach 1. 👍👍👍
I bought the car to drive and enjoy as much as possible. These cars won't be around forever, and I'm not excited about the electric future. Get one while you can and enjoy it! 👍👍👍
Thank you for your kind words! I try to prompt civility in my videos and in the comment section. Too many people just feel the need to make nasty, uncalled for comments. Why not try to be nice instead? Cheers! 👍👍👍
Hello new to your channel. I have the Twister Orange 21 Mach 1 and I love it! I have about 3k Miles on it now and if I had to do it again I would buy it again lol. Thanks for sharing.
Welcome! You have an amazing and beautiful car! The Mach 1 is truly a fantastic car and there is no question I would also do the same and buy my car again. Enjoy your car everyday and every chance you can! These are truly once in a lifetime cars! 👍👍👍
You mentioned the transmission. On the sport and sport + do you see any nice downshifting when breaking? I had a regular GT previously with the 6 auto and it had wicked downshifts and made a nice growl. I just picked the same car as yours up, and have less than 400km and not driven hard by any means. But the car doesn’t seem to do any sporty downshifting. Curious on your experience.
Yes, my car does have a very nice downshift! Using Sport or Sport + is where I experience this. Take some time to break in your car, then expirement with the different modes. The transmission will learn your driving style as it has adaptive logic built into the transmission control module. The shift table can be reset, but I've never had this done or needed it done. The 10R80 is a very quick shifting transmission. The programming is different than the 10 speed used in the GT. If you are able to go to the Mach 1 Track Attack, definitely go! They will teach you so much about the handling characteristics of the Mach 1! I chose to drive a manual transmission Mach 1 at the Track Attack. That experience reinforced my decision to go with the automatic was the right choice. I hope I've been of some help. 👍👍👍
Have a 21 in iconic silver I only just turned 900 miles in 5 months love this ride get tons of lookers and compliments.my complaint is steering wheel is really thin for my grip sold my amg c 63 convertible I enjoy the mustang
That is a minor, yet noteworthy complaint. I've never thought the steering wheel to be too thin on my car. But, maybe it is in comparison to some other cars. Hope that you enjoy your car nonetheless! Cheers! 👍👍
I can't say if they are intentionally out of alignment. I've heard from other Mach 1 owners with the same sort of misalignment. I will look into the situation at my next service visit.
Mach1 owners are "the proud and the few"... finally 👏 took possession of my '22 6spd track-pack...Do you happen to know how many were produced for MY 2021???...I think production for '22 is going to be extremely low..you thoughts on that please 😉...keep those videos coming 😀👍
Congratulations on your new Mach 1!! You are one of the fortunate few to be able to get one! Awesome! I believe that just over 6000 Mach 1s were built for 2021. I can't say how many will be built for 2022, but I'm glad you have your car! Enjoy it every chance you have, these cars are made to be driven! I will keep making videos of my car and my experience with it, thank you for your kind words! Cheers! 👍👍👍
Thank you! I love my Mach 2. The Recaros would have been nice to have in my car. But I had to take what I could find at the time. The Tremac was nice, I drove one at the Track Attack. But, after many years of driving manual, the 10R80 is a very nice change of pace. Cheers 👍👍
@@lilredcrvtt yea I understand you can’t really be picky in these times. The 6 speed tremec in my Camaro SS 1LE that I used to have was fantastic. Have never driven the 10R80 but the 7 speed dual clutch in my current GT500 is amazing.
The only reason I didn’t order a 2022 Mustang GT PP1 is because I don’t come with the TREMEC transmission so I ordered a 22 Mach 1 with handling & elite package (TREMEC of course) no back seats
@jessicaphoenix1312 I like how you put that! I've had a lot of manuals. This time I bought an automatic. After almost three years of owning it, I'm still very happy with the way the car performs. For my driving needs, it fits in perfectly. Cheers! 👍👍
The 'glorified GT' response is only a tell-tale sign of 'glorified envy'. Love the Mach 1. If I am a Mustang owner in the future, this would be my sled. 👏
Sometimes, yes I do. It was a great car, and I sold it. Reluctantly, but the new Mach 1 more than makes up for the top down experience. Now...if Ford made a convertible Mach 1, in velocity blue, I'd be all over it!
Just bought my '22 A10 and I'm extremely happy with my decision vs 6sp. I added the handling spoiler and I'm completely satisfied
Congratulations on your new car! The A10 is an awesome transmission, it shifts much quicker than I could shift a manual. If you can and are eligible, attend the Mach 1 Track Attack program. You'll see just how fast and capable the Mach 1 is on a race track. 👍👍👍
