@Martin A combination of electronic sensors, how you are accelerating, steering, braking it all gets computer prossess to connect with trans.
I'm not impressed with the sound of this car , but I'm sure it is a blast to drive.
My 69 fastback was a very nice handling
Car , just a 302 cui. Style, performance,
Economy, Ford and Iacoca found the Iconic American sports car and its also
Cool. Except if your a very big person.

Okay. So I’m not a Mustang fan, and this is one big commercial. However, Jim Owens just sold quite a few Mustangs. Ford, give this man a huge raise. He is affable, knowledgeable, and forthright. It was a pleasure to watch and listen to his vast knowledge of the automotive world, especially the Ford stuff. He lets Jay interrupt him, and he’s a real car guy.
The car is outstanding, I hope it sells well. Congratulations.

The Mustang is now the best selling sports car in the world since 2017 and this includes Germany. Ford really brought this car on the world stage and the Corvette will also be making it's presence known especially with the new 670HP naturally aspirated V8.

I'm now 58 n with COVID taking all of my savings n finding a decent job difficult to say the least I doubt I'll get a good fun V8 American muscle car again. But I just have incredibly great memories of that car that I'll have forever. Out of all the cars I've had, including vettes n a detomaso Pantera, my Buick was by far my Favorite car ever. Recently had a chance to drive a new Mustang GT with the 10 spd auto and was very impressed! Maybe it’s me getting older and lazier but when you hammer it, it just stays in the fat part of the power band and is a freaking blast! Next (newer-ish) car will be a low mile GT with direct injection and a 10spd for sure! Only thing that sucks is you know it’s going to be $$$ if you break it. Never thought I’d see them come back like they did after living through the dark years of the late 70s and early 80s especially. Fun seeing them slowly fight their way back and then in some ways surpass the original muscle car years. 30 yrs ago would you ever think the big 3 would have the Mustang, Camaro and Challenger with high hp V8s being marketed against each other? Only thing that’s a bummer is Pontiac, Olds, Mercury and Plymouth couldn’t survive long enough to compete because people need their Honda’s Kias and Saturns.

Looking back now. C8 is where they lost me on Corvette. C7 was still tolerable but C6 was the peak for me. I mean what I like. As for Mustang this is it. You can't even tune the new one and does not look as good as this Mach one.

During the extra long talk and drive segment the video would show the brake lights coming on for a slow down at a curve, but the audio would have us hearing the car accelerate. It almost reminds me of the chase scene in “Bullitt” when the audio didn’t always match up with the video.

I had a Mustang ecoboost and I gave that car to my son while I bought a Camaro SS. When driving on the open roads and tracks the Camaro will beat that Mustang any day, however I have to admit that when driving on the twisty side mountain roads of Southern California the ecoboost is so much more fun to drive.

That’s more a problem with the Camaro. It’s a sedan chassis with a sports car body laid over it. They’re very pretty, and have good performance. But, are also big and heavy so aren’t going to be as nimble and the same fun as a smaller lighter car.
While they’ve gotten bigger and heavier the mustangs have still stayed more of a sports car.

One of the great and most underrated things about this Mach1, with the Handling package, is the stance created by the wheel and tire package: The perfect offset of the wheels with nice concavity, along with the beefy steam-roller tires... Most don't even point this out, but it goes a LONG way to the overall look.
