My current game of the year is one that I don't think is uploaded as an individual game on this channel, I forgot what stream it was from but it was bretonnia vs norsca and by like 2 minutes in it looked like a complete wash in the norscan favor, and it continued to seem that way until the last quarter where literally like 3 grail knights and the faye enchantress somehow against all odds bringing it back and winning out against i believe a balefiend and some other units, crazy stuff. Oh, or the red skink 1 hp backflip. Idk if that was this year but that's legendary.

1 hp cohort of sotek skink, there was 2 skinks still fighting the nercotech . half an hp between the two of them but they refused to die and the backflip skink kill win was glorious. the fey, gotrek and the paladin game were great too. Nikolaz has the right link but thanks for the throwbacks
that plague priest was definitely the unseen mvp in this match imo. game would've been over for the skaven when the second burning skull hits if it wasn't for him
I absolutely love the Eshin skirmishers in certain matches. They slow down the enemy for your ranged units and do surprising amounts of damage in the process. Yes, there are instances where Rat Ogres are better, such as heavy cav factions, but Shuriken rats have their place. Loose formation, poison attacks and Physical Resistance combined with good speed and decent melee means they can earn their price back easily. Also Skaven have terrible mobility and the ninja-rats help with that.
I feel like every time I see a match posted with the death master, it’s always a guarantee it’s gonna be amazing. His personal tool kit and the army comps he lends to make for respectable and thrilling skaven victories. Not particularly common to see that from a ranged suppression and DoT type faction.

@@dogperson432 yeah I know its more for multiplayer, but you gave a lot of info on what specific unit matchups look like, and what the units are kind of built for. Either way its appreciated 👍
@@SL-vj6df If you want some advise on campaign for norsca and skaven from a 500~ hours played, Giddap Mule was right about campaign is totally different from mp, you need to take into account that you dont have a price limit more than your economy and no limits on repeating units. For norsca, spamming mamoths is the most eficient way to go, just keep them together and the splash dmg+the knockdown deletes almost everything, its expensive but a very strong army that can heal fast postbattle due to being single entity unis. Skaven is a bit more complex army and kind of harder to learn how to play it properly in campaign, my stacks are usually general+2 warlock engineers+2 plage priests+4 ratlinguns+4 jezzails+3 wind poison mortars+4 plague catapults or some variation of those. This is the better allround army I found, works everywhere but batelfields with a lot of trees that block your bullets. The supress fire of ratlings + poison of the mortars make their troops hard to reach you and if they even come close you use your plague priest to summon rats or use your menace below to act as an improvised frontline for free, with this army I manage to win almost every battle receiving no dmg at all. Most of people I have watched playing skavens dont use poison wind mortars but I found the very usefull at siege battles, for some reason artillery is a bit bugged attacking things on walls and mortars destroy them easy. The warlocks are there because they give lots of ammo and reach to all of your army which will gave you the reach advantage and that makes the AI come at you, the AI always go on the attack if you have reach advantage. Sorry for not being able to give a better advise with norsca, I dont really play them that much. Hope this helps you :) PD: English is not my first langauge so Im sorry for any mistakes.
@@davidguillenmateu657 that is actually really good to know. Its pretty interesting that a good strategy is to just go full out ranged agression. I think I've been trying too hard to form a decent front line with masses of slaves or stormvermin. I will keep that in mind thanks for the advice!

Every time I see Snikch running at 54 speed I look at Vlad figurine and remember the tabletop times where Vampires on foot moved as quick as Empire Knights. T-T

So I just had my first warhammer battle and I consider it a pretty good battle for a valiant defeat considering the circumstances. I was forced to play dark elves against vampire counts with ultra funds, on a map that I didn't know and I didn't know how to get upgrades or arrow groups + his computer was running on like 20 fps
You should do a stream where you revisit your favorite games of the last year, and then have people vote on a "Game of The Year" reward. And then the players can get some sort of bragging right trinket.
Part of the reason sniktch is so good is actually due to his animations hitting more often hence he was able to kill that bale fiend and keep running it’s what adds to his assasin finesse
Snikch scaling damage makes his hits one of the most damaging in the entire game against enemies on less than 50% hp. He is a pure definition of a glass cannon.
I believe that he said due to the time off that he had combined with a patch being released, the game file may have corrupted and it couldn't be continued

Norsca player just threw the game away. Throgg lost 2k hp for free, routed and as a result he lost his caster also, imagine paying attention to your 2 most important units. 4/10 game at best
How can I accept a challenge with a straith face from a person who doesnt even know the basics of the game? Thats like beating an armless man in a fist fight...Perhaps rock paper scissors would be a better match for a player of your skills and APM?

I used to have a bias against "evil" factions. But now I lean towards "who cares? It's a fantasy game". Good gameplay, good coverage!

I think he didnt wanted to fight snikch in the forest, since large units get a penalty in the forest, atleast would make sence

This is a bad map for heavy artillery play, but all it took was a lapse of concentration for Throgg to get prison shanked in the back for 2k HP.
