Cylostra is pretty underestimated as she more or less makes up for the VP's weakness in no cavalry

yeah their one of the weakest factions in domination but so is skaven to be fair

"It's just the way balance works in Total War" No it's how balance works in a game with 20+ factions. The game will never be balanced, sorry. The fact it's as balanced as it is, is fairly remarkable.

I really wish more people would take this into consideration. The game is a programming nightmare but somehow they’ve made a mostly cohesive thing that allows for finesse playing.
A great point, if this game had only three factions like Starcraft and wasn't balanced that would be inexcusable. You balance one faction, one set of units and you create a whole new set of problems. If you wanted to create a 'balance' Total War you might have to go back to the days of Shogun 2. Ten unit types, simplified Rock Paper Scissors basically but we as players wanted more then that I think

Honestly, flensing rune is just a cheese spell. Basically rat Whurzzag, cheese pick, no skill.
Meh, it's basically functions like Final Transmutation except it deals the damage slower, but is less expensive. Wouldn't really call it overpowered in itself. But it does make Ikit a no-brainer pick compared to other skaven lords since he also has access to Howling Warpgale against fliers the bound Brass Orb to deal with infantry. He covers a lot of bases with his price point.
@shiggydiggy6847 Exactly, skaven cheese (hehe). Glad Turin went the honorable route with cylostra. But ikkit is just another bad balance. 5 flensing runes in one (minimum) game is kind of lame to watch. It's not a play, it's just easy mode.

On late game coast: I think CA should give the Sartosa free company to coast for like 500-525 (cause rowdy) and have a 4-5 total cap. Gives coast a much better reinforcement pool without giving too much power. Plus they had them on ladder in wh2
Or maybe up the zombies' speed to a dwarven 28? They are self-aware zombies after all and while it would be significant, I doubt it would be OP.

In my anecdotal experience plague monks seem to suffer a bit in general but they can be impactful in certain applications.

Why keep throwing your bats away in melee? That's a lot of unsummon value for very little tactical value
They can run interference, buy more time on objectives, etc
@@turinRTS agreed, sometimes it's better to unsummon, but here it was the correct play imo
0:32 I'm fairly certain the clanrats win. I remember seeing a video a while back with clanrats v skeleton warriors and the clanrats won. The deckhand mob has lower stats than the warriors, but higher HP which I'd imagine keeps the outcome virtually the same
Good match and fun to watch
I think bringing a cannon to keep Ikit in check would be a good idea for the match up. Doom wheels and Flayers get bopped by cannons. That or bring a pirate pete to shoot Ikit would be good.
Speaking of balance, how are Ogres in the most recent version of the game, still unusable in dom?
not fixed, but adjusted to make them usable

I honestly have no idea, I don't follow it closely aside from communications pertaining releases, etc.
i feel like whit deck dropper whit long rifle ikkit would be dead in a second, maybe the tech is one of each deck dropper, just to get that versatility
