Oxyotl being so sneaky he slips under the player's nose is peak Chameleon Skink.
The surprise to me was that no one unit pulled serious value; Oxyotl was definitely the key to the lizard victory, but I'm used to seeing a key unit or two with a big positive value trade. Maybe the stalkers did an outsized amount of damage, and we just didn't see their values?

Lotta times with skaven the units get routed off before a lot of damage has been dealt so the values can be deflated.
Would be good to see how much damage the Cohort of Sotek achieved...

@@turinRTS A sweeper is still often used in rugby (usually the scrum half) to cover chip kicks!
I don't know how well Assassins would do instead, but I DO know that mistaking Pack Masters for Chieftains works very poorly here.
I didn't know that there was a unit called the pit fighter's of "Hell's Deep" and this whole time I thought Turin has just been making an LOTR joke.
Oxyotl's stealth is so powerful it affects even the space outside the game.
I wonder if stormvermin halberds would be better than the sword and board version here. Saurus are easily countered by poison wind so you don't often see them, the chameleon stalker missiles are explosive so shields don't do anything, and both variants of SV will beat the snot out of skinks in melee. Really you end up giving up the anti-large AP for basically nothing and with Garry the bastilidon being so common it just seems like a bad trade. At 2:45 halberds would have had a better time against the 90 armour cold ones and 5:30ish they coulda jumped in on the manticore.
Maybe it's too "What If...", maybe I'm taking crazy pills. Either way I say halberds SV are the way to go.
Did a Qweek run with half BiG rAts and storm bois with pointy sticks did pretty well.

I know many hate them, but I have always liked the shuriken teams. Nice and flexible tool, much more independent than the heavy weapon teams
Sweeper unit is a soccer term? I thought you were referring to competitive Pokemon terms! (Sweeper, Wall, speedbump, etc.)
Is it really called sweeper in english though? We are used to term stopper (which is the last player defending) more.

I like to go sknitch, ghoritch, 4 clanrats shields, 4 spears, 3 snipers and 2 mutant rat ogres against lizardmen. Or mass mortars and deathglobes.

Some skaven units are just stupid: Jezzails running as fast as skinks, while having 70 armore and a shield as big as them selves? Same goes for poisend wind mortares? Its so stupid, that even their normal running animation looks completly stupid.
Gutter runners taking 3 full charges of skink stalkers --> loss of 15%HP, because of loose formation? Etc...

skaven being able to run like bitches is a key feature of the race.

@@goddagogeddagabbagool Sure, thats why gutter runners etc. ran sometimes even outrun cavalry. But just because its a "key feature of the race" should also their artillery like plague catapults be pushed at that speed? A faction can have more than just one feature. And jezzails and poisend wind mortars should not be part of this.
Beeing armored is a feature of the dwarfs. Should all slayers get randomly 70 armore because of that?
