Anyone experience the cannot write to card error with the GR iii? Happens regardless of SD card used and have to format it after a day passes or when taking a shot, the message will appear. Can't even do in-camera development

I would go to one of the facebook Ricoh groups and ask that question. Sorry to hear!

For what it's worth I think the image on screen at 3:00 is fantastic, and the one that comes on at 3:13 reminds me of Rear Window.
And yes, since YT made changes to usernames a while back and reverted us all to the old @usernames mine has become word soup again!

Thanks for the input! And yes, sometimes the 'easiest' shots turn out the most unique - like the 'Rear Window' image ... just a simple shot from my parking garage!

The most important thing is not to worry and keep doing what you think is right

Couldn't agree more! I shoot for me and me alone! Can't please everyone and has never been my intention! Thanks for the input my friend!

    Hi Jason
As always a great video!! This response may be as long as your video lol. Many thoughts on this video and you. I have watched your videos for many years and have always learned new things. What I appreciate the most about you the photographer is your knowledge and experience as a street photographer, how you have the right people skills in interacting with strangers on the street, your experience and knowledge with the GR, but what I really love about you the most is your honesty and you don't 'sugar coat' about the topic. Even though some viewers might not like your opinions on the build quality & problems of the GRiii, those are the same concerns why I never bought the GRiii or newer. I believe when a person pays that much for ANY camera, they expect problems to be corrected and not continue year after year. As far as PS/LR, even though I can get them for free through work, I never edited enough to remember how to use all of the tools (lol). So I use Snapseed and Google Photos Editor for the times I do edit. As far as post editing, A.I. editing/photography (new video topic for you?) noise reduction, etc. as photographers we need to keep our minds open on
advancements, because that helps us to be better photographers and creators. As far as losing a subscriber it's unfortunate that he didn't have an open mind, but you win some and lose some. Keep doing what you're doing because you are on the right course! Best Duane

Thanks for the well thought response Duane. I'm the last person to be concerned about other's opinions when it comes to the 'style' of photography. Many 'hate' HDR, but if that's a phase a photographer is going thru he needs to learn/experiment/have fun, then usually we move on to other aspects. Shooting the same and striving for 'the perfect photo' is boring and pointless to me. Baffles me when people want to not only shoot the same all the time, but feel they have to impose that on everyone else or we're all WRONG! No creativity in some people.

I like topaz denoise it is so much faster then PS/LR denoise , but I have to say it does a bit of a better job at really high iso . I don't do a lot of low light photography , I enjoyed the drive by images in the video if I didn't say so at the time .

I've not tried the Topaz version. Will have to do that! Thanks!
