Ricoh GR Street Photography After Dark with Settings and How to Handle Noise at ISO 25,600

Why am I no longer concerned with High ISO settings like 18,000 or 25,600 at night with my Ricoh GR, or any of my other cameras? Because I've found that with the new Denoise feature in Lightroom, I can shoot at any ISO I want, run it through Denoise, and rid the image of most of that nasty digital noise. This process saves a lot of time in that I can hand-hold while shooting at 1/160 shutter speed and f/4 at night (next time I'll go up to f/5.6).
It's a feeling of freedom, and allows so much more experimentation in my night photography. No tripods and no standing there waiting on 30-second exposures feeling vulnerable to the elements or other people. I can walk freely, shoot on the run, or stop and take my time composing an image, all the while only carrying the camera without all the other gear required for typical night photography.
Some will say this is graphic arts and not photography, despite the fact that I used a camera, found the location, framed the image, picked the settings, and pressed the shutter. No different than someone else who uses sooc jpegs. In the situation of sooc jpegs, it's the camera that makes the decision on the processing and noise reduction instead of you doing it on a computer. Same process, different way of getting there, but you have much more control on the computer.
The bottom line as I see it, if I find the location, shoot the photo, and people enjoy it, then it's a photo. If other photographer's have problems with that, it doesn't bother me because they are not my target audience ... it's just me! Anyone else that enjoy my images is a bonus, any that don't never enter my thoughts as it's not those people I'm trying to please.

WOW! With the denoising you can shoot at any ISO the camera can go to. ISO is virtually irrelevant. Seeing is believing.

Yes, some will call it 'AI,' others will say it's not authentic, but those people I say do what you will with your own images, I'll do what I want with mine lol but it does add more options for low-light shooting!

@@DozierGraphic I honestly never new Lightroom was so good at denoise. I’m torn between adobe and capture one. I love the way my Fuji photos look processed with capture one, but after seeing the power of Lightroom I’m even more torn lol.

I just bought a Ricoh GR 3 and Photoshop Denoise doesn't work. It does for Fuji RAW files though.
