Definitely a core memory of mines seeing Transformers when I was 9 years old with my dad in 2007. I'll say Dark Of The Moon is probably my favourite of the 5 but Transformers (2007) holds a special place in my heart.
I've seen some extra scenes to from the making of featurette. There's this one scene from the battle of mission city where the sector 7 vehicle flips off and crashes, probably after being shot by some decepticons, and that's probably why in the later scenes the sector 7 vehicle doesn't appear anymore. And apart from that there's some unused scenes/angles/take from the trailer and tv spot
5:02 would it be a nice throwback for starscream to say "such heroic nonsesne" to Ironhide as he shot him down to the floor? also I never knew of the extended versions of TF movies as IMAX personally I always saw IMAX as the same movie but in greater details but now I learned otherwise lol. also YES pls I wanna revisit my childhood 2007 movie in theathers again if the petition went big! I'm sure they see the 2007 movie was more better and well recived compare to the other bay movies even including my personal best TF movie being DOTM
Well it looks like we might get the Lost IMAX Cut as the movie is confirmed to be getting a re-release in theaters again thanks to Fathom Events and this version is apparently going to be 2 hours and 35 minutes longer compare to the original 2 hour and 23 minutes version however if does Contradict the runtime of the IMAX cut which was just 2 minutes long, I guess they had a lot more scenes that were cut out of the movie or are going to squeeze in a teaser for Rise Of The Beast on there.

I always felt like the first half of the 2007 movie dragged on forever while the second half just zoomed by and tried to fit as much story, exposition, and action into one hour as possible. So, hearing this, I wonder if something similar to Justice League happened, and if we can actually push for a longer, full-release version, much like the Snyder Cut was. I feel like the 2007 movie could have told a much better story about the war on Cybertron, about Megatron's origins and arrival on Earth, about the Allspark, about the Autobots and their refuge from the Decepticons, and give us more of Cybertron like the video games (especially the PSP one) did.

I was born back in 2007 and watched it back in 2010 when i was 3 and I've loved the film ever since and it is my favorite Transformers film and i would love to see Transformers 2007 get an imax cut
I find it funny how in the deleted scene at the police station Sam mentions One flew over the ko ko's nest, because when Transformers was being devloped Bob Budiansky was inspired to name Ratchet after Nurse Ratched from that movie.
Thats crazy, I never watched this in cinemas but as a kid my dad accidentally bought the dvd version thinking it was official, but ended up being a pirated disk with footage straight from cinemas. The thing is tho, the footage was from IMAX, like this is the first footage I ever watched of 2007's Transformers and its why I still remember stuff like the scene where Sam and Barricade meet for the first time, and I remember the eye thingy coming out of Barricade's lights transforming instead of just randomly appearing in front of Sam.

I really like to see the IMAX cut of the Transformers 2007 movie because the movie would have been better if the movie was really released in IMAX so that we can really see the fun part of the movie. sad to see that the IMAX was never shown in the theatres. but overall, the movie is good, it just lacked some screen time. What you may or may not know is that since the launch of Paramount+, the first Transformers movie has *never* made it into the platform. And it would be great if this version would be labeled as a Paramount+ Original, like Zack Snyder’s Justice League on Max.
