I heard the dragon mask is really good - lets you spend 4 skill points to gain 1 attack power (I think). Need to get all three pieces, 1 costs 5000, 1 is traded for 7 red carps to the merchant in the pot next to Hirata Estate bridge.
Another useful item lets you sacrifice health for 5 spirit emblems, 3 uses per run

@@higgs135 ya they last less than the normal sugars and cost spirit emblems to use and by the time you get them ur in the late game and already have lots of sugar and you can farm it from the monks in sensual temple

I rarely have had to use dragons droplets. All you have to do is take a break if you die and farm a few minutes and your good to go. The purple gourd isn't nearly as effective as as pacifying agent. Devine confetti is basically easy mode for people who lack the skills to get gud.....oh and for the weak headless rewards. The best item is the ceremonial tanto imo.
