It's been years since I've played Sekiro so I've actually forgotten just how sick Ashina Castle is from a gameplay and from a visual perspective. Unbelievable game. Can you believe it turns 5 years old this year?
Sekiro's environments in general were awesome to explore. I really wish that game would have gotten a proper DLC. It remains one of my favorite FromSoft games, next to Bloodborne.
11:59 when a good sekiro player sees the red kanji, they stop what they're doing and prepare to mikiri/jump. Ongbal sees it as enough time to sqeeze in 3 shuriken shots AND mikiri Amazing showmanship as always
New year, new me? Wrong, New no HUD video by Ongbal. By the way I can't get over the fact your stealth-siege got faster than the last time, it took you less than 15 minutes to tear the whole castle down and to kill Genichiro. You truly did master the game.
First i didn't even knew devine abduction follow up sword attack also turns around enemies and it applies to whatever the sword skill u are using as well. Second deflecting while jumping to avoid clash swords animation with Genichiro is really genius so that u can get an extra window to attack him. Also love how u always spare that maiden in the corner😅08:41. Ngl this my new year gift man keep the good work up. Oh also Happy New Year Ongbal.
Dawg this was INSANE. Just gave my second playthrough a whole new meaning. That shinobi art to deflect the lightning, the whistle attack to distract the guys on the castle, and warping the one who dives. Lord. I had no idea how this game works
@@ttilah___ it doesnt block your resurrection if you are using bite down, so you can revive more than twice if you using bite down without having to deathblow an enemy
Whistle projected force tech was brilliant. I could not figure out an easy way to get past the nightjars on the roof or the guards after jumping down from the broken ceiling without alerting them. I’ll be trying this on my next playthrough!
This game was absolutely perfect! I never loved playing a game so much. I never enjoyed learning and practicing a game as much as Sekiro. I remember thinking I was never gonna be good enough to master the mechanics... blocking, deflecting all those amazing abilities available to you. But just like with Bloodborne and Dark Souls I never gave up I practiced every day for hours until I was worthy of my shinobi title. Eventually I became a force to be reckoned with. Nothing as stylish and ruthless as you but by watching you I learned so much from your unbelievable ability to use all your resources in the best possible way for each and every enemy. You take full advantage of everything the game gives you and you turned you're shinobi into the most stylish and brutal force with a knowledge of all your abilities that you use like a surgeon with insane timing, accuracy and most of all your creative, deadly use of prosthetics that make sure your constantly taking advantage of every opportunity to create and cause the most damage possible . Your an artist/ gamer.
Your story is literally mine, I’ve platinumed Sekiro, beaten it like 9 times, done all the boss gauntlets(except the one with every single boss, that’ll be my next challenge when the game calls me back once more, and it’ll probably be after catching a new Ongbal Sekiro video that hypes me back up). So, after I platinumed the game, seemed like an insane feat, I put the game down. A year later, I caught a flashy ad he’ll ongbal video, blew my mind, made me realize how I barley got by on my first few play throughs, he embarrassed me, but also inspired me. So I practiced the boss gauntlets, figured hey this might be the best way to figure out my weaknesses. Practiced every day, for a week or 2, and beat them! Was stoked, but then I realized I wasn’t playing with kuros charm, I said fuck it, I’ll never do that…. Another year later, I picked the game back up, after watching yet another ongbal video I caught on my feed, then began my 100% play through, all endings, and boss gauntlets with kuros charm and the bell demon. Took me about a week maybe, but I did it, again, I didn’t do the all boss gauntlet, that’ll be for the next time I’m inspired by another ongbal video on my feed next year! Thanks onbal, you’ve inspired me to play games completely different, and to push myself beyond my comfort zone, even if that means getting slaughtered over and over and over again to just perfect one move, one move at a time guys, they eventually add up.
How did you even discover the tight window to get in 2-3 sen throws right before the mikiri counter animation? That was insanely masterful and cool to watch.
Remaster Fountainhead! It's my absolutely favorite video of yours. The OST and the scenery there is gorgeous, combined with your insane skills is amazing!
Heeeelll yeeeh, back again w/ my fav game ever! Even planning a satisfying route to clear the whole map of enemies is so satisfying in Sekiro, and as usual you do that witch so much STYLE
"I am become death, destroyer of Ashina." p.s. If this was a movie, this 6:15 would make it to the bloopers 😉 p.s.2 Holy $#!7! This whole thing was unreal, especially the Genichiro fight.
Your gameplay is the reason I started getting better at Sekiro. And now I'm thinking of buying it again so I can replay it on my PS5 i got just so I can play it again.
Jesus, this is perfect! Once again I am convinced that you are the most fierce SEKIRO player I have ever seen! I hope someone from FromSoftware sees this! No Hesitation!
This game is even better without the HUD.🤩😍🤯 I have obviously played sekiro wrong and i seriously start to regret that i haven't played it for so long after finishing it. Especially the way you play it, shows me how much i actually did wrong. I basically didn't fight like a shinobi at all. I only played through it once, facing all the bosses and almost never cared using prosthetic tools or any items aside from healings. (Except shuriken) ...But this kind of comes natural, when i consider that i have never been THAT tenacious about fully mastering videogames. I mean... I may have soloed all Souls games and Elden Ring, yet haven't bothered to even get the parry right. I was just irritated by it and didn't feel comfortable to take this risk. (I sorta had to carry out a fight with myself as well, so that didn't exactly help my focus either.) However: I admire your tenacity and skill. It technically is "just a videogame", but your efforts really are an added value on this. It's the perfect Tribute to this Game. ...And even though many people would probably declare me clinically insane for it, i actually would really like to know what it is like to face you in PVP. That would probably be the fight of a lifetime.
Ongbal I first found you through a Malenia video but then after watching your Sekiro videos I chose it as my second Fromsoft gave and even managed to get all achievements but damn your gameplay never gets boring.
This is why I love Sekiro so much, and it goes without saying that we need a new one ASAP. Anytime I am bored, I just pull up Sekiro gameplay footage, and it is always incredibly entertaining. Quite the difficult feat to achieve, and yet Miyazaki does so with ease.
I could do nothing but laugh this whole video 😂 just pure joy knowing gow badly i suck at this game and here i thought i was like decent 😢! Props brother this is lots of hard work and dedication to the game knowing each move and utilizing that BITE DOWN man oh man youve perfected this hard ass game to a T.
There's being good at the game, there's being great at the game, there's being perfect at the game, and then there's intentionally killing yourself to dodge an attack. Hats off as always, ongbal. Keep it up!
That suicide pill at 3:05 was clutch as fuck. I only ever used them to save a Jizu statue when facing Ishinn. Honestly Ongbal still changing how I view this game 5 years later 😳😳

Sekiro's environments in general were awesome to explore. I really wish that game would have gotten a proper DLC. It remains one of my favorite FromSoft games, next to Bloodborne.
Can’t believe it’s already been that long.
Sekiro always felt like it came out waaay earlier than it did. Probably because we’ve had so many games since then
5 years later, still the best combat in gaming.
Yes. I believe it is.
11:59 when a good sekiro player sees the red kanji, they stop what they're doing and prepare to mikiri/jump.
Ongbal sees it as enough time to sqeeze in 3 shuriken shots AND mikiri

Yeah because of Ongbal , i also do an extra hit before you mikiri counter isshins thrust attack. he really is one of a kind
my jaw dropped at the moment
Sen throw tho, not shuriken. He was paying Geni 100 sen to f*ck off, basically.
Its a Ongbal thing
New year, new me? Wrong, New no HUD video by Ongbal.

С новым годом, Иссин!
to be fair he did leave out Reservoir this time
he uses sen throw, he literally just gets this from playing too much 🤣
@enwvyeko wtf ppl like you exist?
"This will only take a moment..." Truer words were never spoken.
I like how the little oopsie at 6:15 wasn't enough to warrant re-starting the run lmao
fair enough tbh im sure these runs take lots of practice

These are my favorite, stealth and kill all mobs videos like a true ninja, awesome as always
Gotta love these creative stealth playtroughs!!
Wasn't expecting you to fake deaths with the bite down item to deagro enemies, really good stuff.
its so smart, ive always seen bite down as super useless and i just have a ton in my inventory but im definitely gonna start doing this
@@ttilah___ it doesnt block your resurrection if you are using bite down, so you can revive more than twice if you using bite down without having to deathblow an enemy
The woo guy trick is the Best thing i've seen in this year.
A remake of the first one you made?
Cool!
I’m going to make the same joke I made then:
4:08 Oh, no! Wolf tripped on the stairs.
Same opponent that killed Kuina

The jump deflect on geni's "clash" moves is genius, I'm definitely stealing that. Awesome video.
Whistle projected force tech was brilliant. I could not figure out an easy way to get past the nightjars on the roof or the guards after jumping down from the broken ceiling without alerting them. I’ll be trying this on my next playthrough!
Nice! Its been a while since you've done stealth gameplay!
I would 100% watch a full playthrough like this!!!
Lmao you stopped the woo guy mid air, I had no idea you could do that, awesome lol

if you really loved the learning, improving and overall combat aspects of Sekiro, check out Sifu. it might be right up your alley
The type of videos you watch before bed, this guy never fails to entertain us
Absolutely clean, amazing work!
How did you even discover the tight window to get in 2-3 sen throws right before the mikiri counter animation? That was insanely masterful and cool to watch.
Practice he is trying every idea that comes to his mind and see if its working or not
probably has hundreds of hours in the game

Parabéns Ongbal, com certeza você é o melhor TH-camr de Souls Like que tenho o prazer de seguir, forte abraço.
I’d really love if you made a full play through in this style

your creativity never fails to impress :) the divine abduction on the woo guy left my jaw on the floor
„We Are Ashina, we are unbreakable.“ 1 nanosecond later absolutely annihilated.
Thank you so much for creating this content… You have been the reason I have recently started replaying Sekiro again…
6:16 did i just see ongbal fail the deathblow 😮
Swing and a miss lol
Like an easter egg.
Proof that he is indeed human after all 😅
I can't believe how much of that was in stealth. Swapping Genichiro for Inner Genichiro was a nice touch, too!
I just got the game, and now I'm learning the hard way just how high the skill ceiling is, and how sharp the learning curve is.
Your gameplay is the reason I started getting better at Sekiro. And now I'm thinking of buying it again so I can replay it on my PS5 i got just so I can play it again.
Sekiro is the best game ever created combat wise . nothing con top it unless Sekiro 2 comes out .
3:05 literally dies for additional style points. Insane stuff
I like the seamless transition between gameplay and Inner Geni!
ongbal srsly brings all the beauty in sekiro out for us.. the stealth gameplay is such a great enjoyment to watch
8:41 Sparing that old woman was a top notch move. I was expecting that.
Interior Ministry's gonna invade and find an empty city.
will we ever get a full game stealth video? that would be sick ❤
That would, my eyes were glued to the screen 💯
Beautifully cinematic as always, good work.

Yay another stealth exploration videdo. Those videos are dope
Dude the bite down before you entered the dojo 🔥
Most satisfying sekiro player to watch. Please do the full play through like this!
4:12 "Shadow Dies Twice"
3:02 Call an ambulance, call an ambulance, but not for me!
after he cleaned the whole ashina castle, that cutscene when he met genichiro felt different
Absolutely love these stealth gameplays! Happy new year.
You'r pretty good! Happy 2024!
I always appreciate a good game-play! Do not stop what you are doing.
This DLC for Kannagi Usagi looks and plays pretty good to be honest.

Holy hell. This had me hooked. I want more! 😮
Sekiro is one of the greatest games of all time. I absolutely love this game !
Recibiendo el nuevo año como debe ser, con un video de ONGBALL
This is how the real Sekiro sneak in the castle. He never fights the enemy. He asassinates them. Sekiro only actual fights are the boss battle.
This is peak gaming.
Bro's gameplay is majestic and smooth asf
To attain this level of efficiency. A true master.
There's being good at the game, there's being great at the game, there's being perfect at the game, and then there's intentionally killing yourself to dodge an attack. Hats off as always, ongbal. Keep it up!
Sekiro will never get old! Hail Ongbal!
At the beginning of the fight, you made me feel like a real shinobi holy shit
Took me like 7 hours on this damn castle lol, brilliant work
Sekiro never gets old
Kuro: Look out!!!
Genichiro: I'm trying!!
this dude casually destroying the whole mf army w/o even getting hit or somethin , hes literally 'sekiro' himself holy ,
2:25 “Woooooo… WTF? ☠️”
Would love to see a Temple run after this
That suicide pill at 3:05 was clutch as fuck. I only ever used them to save a Jizu statue when facing Ishinn.

What a masterpiece. Beautiful art
Damn this was like watching a movie
That is probably the most ingenous way i have ever seen someone use bitdown
Throw coins during Mimicric counter is insane BTW awesome fight and stealth
3:45 no hesitation to throw a shuriken at the lady
Wow, I didn’t know there was an actual use for the bite down. Very clever!
I remember dying to this boss probably 60 times before I finally figured it out and beat him.
Commenting for the algorithm that was beautiful
