Tbf I think there’s quite a few that know how to correctly play it. It’s just so boring to side climb for 15 minutes by the time you’re at an altitude that’s good for it every is either low or dead

I love the look of the Razorback more than any other Thunderbolt in the game. And Jengar’s choice of terminology when describing how to fly this aircraft. It requires ‘discipline’ which many War Thunder players seem to lack when flying. A solid video/update for one of my absolute favorite aircraft in both game and history.
Yeah, its the more agressive looking thunderbolt. Suits it.

Sometimes dropping the flaps and losing speed quickly helps facilitate a reversal, especially at the new BR level where some players dont know to watch their speed.
true, but once lost its difficult to regain the energy, so it better work ;)

im glad you are back with us! i totally feel you on taking a break from the game, i also just got back from a break and the anniversary stuff has been keeping me busy.
from what i remember, you are still going through the US air tree right? if i could make a suggestion for a little side review, id love to see you make a video on the XF5F Skyrocket. i recently got this plane from the 10 rare vehicles tasks and its been a blast! totally didnt expect it to be so good, though the armament leaves MUCH to be desired.
ty Sir Cactus! i've not flown the XF5F for a long long time. I dont touch the premiums though with the US trees, that would make the episodes too bulky. I'm planning to do them seperately one day ;)

Just like how you present and explain the planes. I'm in top tier with owning the f14 but I have watched/watch almost all your videos on props to be better as when I was grinding the trees I didn't take the time to learn those planes it was just go in get all you can from the match and leave.

I want to love this plane and I know the answer is that I am just not good, but this plane feels incredibly hard to get nose on target compared to other planes for me. It feels like it has the handling of a heavy bomber for some reason.
you have to get used to it, its most nimble when its fast. it gets sluggish when its slow.
So Jengar do you like props or jet better and also good to hear you back in war thunder and work on rank 3 America yes or no
yes, and i much prefer props and early jets. The non missiles age.
I do agree that ww2 props and super early jets from 1944 to 1953

Is there any significant difference between the P47D22 and the P47D23 in the Chinese tech tree? Both are 3.7 yet the Chinese one stats shows it is better then the D22 but then why same br?
Think you could fly a whole match in tail gunner view or looking behind you? Obviously you'd have to glance forwards occasionally to keep from flying into mountains and to spot enemies and whatnot but could you last a whole match in TG view like 95-98% of the match? Jw
it should be possible, but id be difficult to kill anyone.

I actually had some decent spiral turning fights with those P-47 due to their low stalling speed and good flaps. Since they burn energy quite fast in a turn its an advantage if you get from high to low speed with an energy efficient fighter like Yaks or Bfs It's not an energy efficient playstyle but you can easily punish fighters who try to chase you down and then mindlessly turn after overshooting because they underestimate the P-47 turnfight abilities 🍻
bad MER and good high speed turn isn't something that easy to use but when it clicks you just reverse everyone

Hi can you maybe help me to improve my Me 262 skills.
I got the 262 A1A U1 and just lose in it, the Grind is very hart for me and to participate and to be useful in battles ist also very hart for me.I just victim vs the enemy Jets.
Generaly i am not thats good in Me 262 and cant find my way to be succesfull in that.
Just the Me 262 A1/U4 i enjoy in mix battles to fight vs ground targets if enemy jets sborn i run back to the airfield. Sorry for my language english isnt my main tongue.
Wich Me262 is the easyest to fly every Tipp is helpfull thx
The squadron 262 (as well as the other ones) are just not good enough compared to the competition. You can try squadding up with teammates who are flying Su11, F84s etc. and have them help you get people slow and distracted so as to help you get kills more reliably.

i know its a game but Me 262 never meet any enemy Jets in the sky
@@Rockboje It's good in head on. And Gaijin only looks at the average stats. And American teams have A2ds and other attackers that like to get slow and turn. All in all this means this plane somehow managed to have average stats for its BR.
what can i say, its far from the best jet at its br. You need to be disciplined in one absolute thing. Keep it FAST. Not but's, no exceptions. Keep it fast, long swooping boom and run attacks, rinse and repeat.

in some situations sure, but from altitude she's great. Just got to get her there, thats the trick.

The Best thing meaning strategy, planining has been taken away, these are now low fun/arcade style clashes.
agreed, its just the FM's making the difference with arcade now, plus some good matches now and then when ppl play right.

Balance via repair cost is bullshit.along with mid map AA... Legit got one tapped by mid map AA at 5.3 be in the f82... So not only did I have a 15k sl repair cost after getting two kills, but I lost sl for using the damn plane I grinded for.... Gaijin business model... "Let's make it a chore for players to to grind the ranks, and punish them for their work." "Great idea Bob; we'll call it a balance update. Ohh and Bob, don't forget to fuck up the sound settings again. Players love that"

@@jengar6258 then you should try the J5N1, it's a plane where I simply don't die, and get usually 3 kills per game. Good plane especially at slow speed at 6km, but p47s and f8fs sit on yo ass

The Shit is coming always to late,its a 3.0-3.3 br, in 10min the game is over
gotta take the time to sideclimb in it. NVM the lost time. the 15 minutes that you can play once on altitude make the side climb worth your time.

TL:DR Plane is below average, just take F4U-1D better at everything other than rip speed
the thunderbolt is far from below average when it comes from altitude. One just needs to take the time to get there.
I just don't know where to go now in war thunder, i can't get enough silver lions for my vehicles. I left war thunder for a good 2 months but once I came back i just had this great sadness.
Fly more with what you love. Play for fun! Select the plane you want to reseach, and then forget about it. It will unlock at some point. Perhaps watching my tutorial: best way to grind is one you have to see. I explain this more broadly!
