Today its time to fly out the P-51C-10 Mustang in Jengar's Combat Report. Revisited the P-51C-10 for the first time since release of 2.101, New Power, to show you what i do and think in these battles. And I will tell you exactly how i use this plane and what i did in the battle, lets see how it went. Hope you enjoy :)

Requesting a F4U-C vid
The interesting thing about this C is that it has a higher optimal altitude than the Ds. Its maximum speed is attained at 7.3 km to D30's maximum speed at 6.4 km. D is faster by 13kmh but only at that specific altitude.
D5 is a different story. Though she is slower than C, she attain her maximum speed just 320 meters higher. Its interesting when you understand the differentials from the history of them; the Ds were being optimized to escort the bombers at their own cruising altittude.
This really helped. I’ve struggled so long choosing which aircraft to fight first! This Jengar insight was valuable, I think.

Hey Jengar! Hope your doinbg well. About Kermit and his P-51C, it‘s a Red Tail and has only 4 guns too… If I remember right t the first five or so P-51D-1s were Razorbacks with 6 50s. Have a nice day Jengar! Stay safe and the vid was great btw!
Edit: The gentlemanship hasn’t disappeared! First: The enemy allowed to let me do a emergency landing. Second: I asked for a flyby and I got 3(over my crashlanded aircraft I was still in). It takes long but there are gentlemen in War Thunder. Ppl like them and YTers like u are the reason I still play this game€
Thanks to you I've made it a habit to (when possible) check the skill of my opponent. And one thing I seem to be finding is quite a few low level pilots with high KTD ratios, so you can no longer assume a lower rank pilot is less skilled.

I hate it when players use the airfield to help take you down when there is no reason for them to be flying around it in the first place.
Well with the new time limit it will probably get worse now

The frist plane that ever got a ace in a day sadly i got shoot dwon by the same ME 264 that kill xD.
Very fast plane good climb rate for a USA plane the 4 12,7 machine Gun are good enough for 109 and zeros.

It’s your channel but personally as someone who doesn’t play with the metric system (I use knots and feet) when you talk about dive speeds, top speeds, and altitude stuff if it’s not to difficult it would be nice if there was little text at the bottom with different units, I’m sure I’m not the only one with this problem.
Anyways it’s your channel so do what you want love the vids

Fun fact this c10 red tails has the only black pilot in the game. Which is an Easter egg for the real red tails p51s black squadron in ww2 also what a coward that black fox guy was. Too many people drag out matches and camp Aaa maybe if we all yell loud enough they will change it and give it a timer or something or at least the forward base

You made a good call on the 109 IMO, he would have to base for the 55 to follow. Better to keep on the 55 like you did and your team mate needed to secure point ect. Can’t carry them all.

But the 51-C had cannon that stuck out from the wings. Not flush with the leading edge.
i think there were different versions, 4 50 cals, 6 50 cals and cannons.
@@jengar6258 the 4 50s was the B model. The C model had the Hispano 20mm long barrels. I've seen pictures and the plane itself at the USAF Air Museum years ago.

What's the best looking plane in the game to you?
How would you compare it with a Spitfire Jengar?
P-51C is faster at all altitudes and accelerates better in a dive + retains energy better out of a dive.
Spit turns quicker and tighter.
Climb depends on the type of Spit and the altitude, but generally about equal climb (unless you're talking about LF 9 or Griffon Spits).
Think of the P-51C-10 as a lighter P-51D-5 or D-20 with the exact same engine and a little less drag (due to the fuselage shape) which means it performs slightly better + turns slightly better than those two. But less armament with only 4 .50s.

Where do you find a plilot stat card?
How do you find out how fast your ammo belts go when shot? Only tracer tell yous how fast they fly.
it tells you the firerate usually. 750 per minute. if you then have 300 rounds, you can calculate how many seconds you have to fire the guns.
Thanks Ill have to take another look! This should help my accuracy. Now I just have to learn how to lead better.... Any tips ?

not really tbh. i've lost excitement for these patches a long time ago. i feel they keep adding too much stuff without looking at age old bugs and shortcommings.
