So, I combined a late '30s Ford seat bottom, which I widened, with an early '60s Chevy seat back, which I narrowed, to fit a stock '51 seat frame. It turned out "wicked" !
Hey Dan my wife and I are never bored watching your work we appreciate the extra time that you invest to make it perfect and that impresses on us how important it is to make that surface perfect since paint is just a reflection of what’s underneath it. Every detail of your build is very important to us especially since we are doing the same thing in our garage. We are excited to hear the engine start up and see how you do the bed. Keep the videos coming thanks Dan. Ray and Dae
You make the sanding look so easy. I wish I had the patience you do. The fire wall on mine was a nightmare. Thanks for your videos. I think I’m not alone in saying thanks for sharing your knowledge with the rest of us newbies and dreamers.
Just got front fenders and hood for my 52 5 window! Thanks for the awesome build series! I'll definitely be looking at the series over and over when I start digging into mine
Don't give up on the videos Dan!! That's real time stuff there. I enjoy them and thanks for explaining what you are doing or maybe what you didn't mean to do ....LOL... Looking good on the seats too..
Dan, I enjoy watching your videos as I am also working on a '51 Chevy 3100 Restomod. I am also at the seemingly endless bodywork stage (sand, fill, prime, sand, etc.). Misery loves company I guess? Keep up the good work!
I am up to date on your videos now, it took me about 3 or 4 weeks to get them all in. I am glad I found your channel, I have learned a lot! I will be using a bunch of your techniques when ever possible. I am working on a 55 F100 which got banged up pretty bad last September. The frame got bent, the long leaf spring got bent up bad too! I will keep watching your videos as they come up! Thank you for all your information, and keep telling them stories!
I'm actually one of those weird people who finds block sanding almost therapeutic hahaha! Not watching it, but doing it. I'm looking forward to doing it on my sons S15 Jimmy project. Keep up the great work Dan. Cheers! 🍻🇨🇦🤘😎🤘
No worries regarding the monotonous shit, gives us a break from the excitement...lol. That's what makes people "doers" taking on the mundane. Keep up the good work. I started doing my own upholstery, and found that I enjoyed it almost as much as starting that engine for the first time.

Therapeutic isn't the word I would use...maybe I've done too much of it...lol
No wonder I have minimal dust in my house! It's the beer I drink! I had no idea till you mentioned this!
Yep...gotta keep that dust down! lol
Keep up the good work. Good content.
Thanks for watching!
