Installing a bench seat into the 48 chevy!

On this video I will be installing the bench seat from the 88-98 chevy pickup into our 1948 chevy pickup. fingers crossed it fits!

Bought my 48 3800 three years ago and it had a custom interior, new foam on the seat and all. Didn't know what the seat was out of until seeing this video and I totally agree, the seat works perfectly. Right now I'm working on making the bottom flip up for storage underneath

I have a 48 five window and I’m using the very same seat. Love it. Fits mine perfectly Good choice I did it for the almost same reason. Somewhere a grandchild can sit. Keep on trucking. Good luck.

Had this same seat in my 50 3100, bolted directly to the floor. No extra brackets needed

Where is the frame on the bottom from and it the frame under the seat from the original truck what year? I have buckets and I am 6’3” and 250lbs with buckets and console in my truck and I think your seat up it the answer for me. Nice job.

Great job. And yes the seat looks awesome. And the color matches. I have the same issues on my not as nice 54. I may do the same. How much did you cut off the original seat base. Before installing that frame. I need more room
