Hello, Dirty Dan's Rod n Cycle-How are you?? Hope you are well, recently I have looked to your channel. And saw that in your channel have many many problems, for this reason channel videos not getting much engagements. Not growing, If you can solve these problems, channel will grow, You want to know these main main problems??? I can tell if you want to know. here or in email!! Where????
Prep work is what it's all about
Yes sir!
8 just thinking 3 months you'll be complaining about snow
Your Amazing ❤
Dae and I really like your content and looking forward to seeing the 55 completed but really looking forward to seeing the 56 4door turned into a 2 door that will be a pretty amazing accomplishment. Thanks again Dan
Thanks for watching...makes all this worthwhile!
Beautiful car!
Yeah...possibly the best body work I've done...top 3 for sure!
Have to start calling you " SANDY "
Gotta have a good foundation...painted bad body work looks aweful.
Hey Dan boy that's like looking in the mirror you did an awesome job I just can't wait to see the rest of the job call my friend have a good night set alarm for me
Supposed to say family
It clears out my system, i puke a lot more...
LOL
Awesome job!
@@terfox57 gonna be a beauty!
Beer makes ya smarter.👍
Agreed! LOL
Enjoying your vids. Thanks. You think the mustang 2 front suspension is better way to go over a complete s10 frame?
I like the Mustang II, but the S10 has the entire drivetrain already done. I had to move spring pads on the rear, get a custom made drive shaft, fabricate a tranny crossmember etc etc...the S10 route is far cheaper! Thanks for watching!
Very very nice Dan Dae and I really have enjoyed the progress you have made on all the projects that you have shared with us. I have learned a lot from your videos and am forever grateful that you are willing to take the time to explain the process of block sanding or welding or what ever you are working on. Another great video thanks again for all you do. Like everyone else Dae and I are looking forward to see the 55 painted and we know it is going to be perfect.
Thank you very much...you and Dae take care!
Awesome! Glad we still have men like you who care about their work. I like the light , never seen that before.
Dash and instrument panel is looking fantastic !
❤👍
have you done any sanding lately
I don't have finger prints any more!
Most shops don't do. repair it's replace, collision center if they see rust they run
True story! Thanks for watching.
I was wondering with your boss at the body. Shop that you parked the Ford pickup truck there to sell.
Interesting...I already have something coming to the shop soon...I don't want to push my luck! LOL
Could you have put a bolt through the plates with a nut to hold them together and put the bolt into a drill and spin it over the belt sander? It would have made them perfectly round and less work.
That's a great thought...why didn't I think of that? lol...thanks!
I know you are kidding about the horn button on the dashboard. After all the time and $ you have invested, do it right. JMHO.
Looks great! You definitely have to know how to modify stuff to work on those old trucks
Yep, especially when using aftermarket stuff.
Hey Dan another awesome video I like how you made them rings to look like the rest of pretty clever we have a good day my friend say hello to the family
Thanks, and you as well!
Adaptor looks great
Thanks!
Dan is there any way to raise the volume on your end.. I'm turned all the way up and still can barely hear you.. nice work on the adapter...
I think I've maxed out my volume settings...but I'll double check on the next one. Thanks for letting me know!
Love those gauges. Wanting a set for my 48. Are those mechanical or electronic and are you running a volt meter or an amp meter?
It's an exact copy of the stock gauges but calibrated for 12 volt and a V8...amp gauge
👍Looking great 👍 Mandrel is what it is called 😂 I always thought Mandrill😂
Lol...correct!
Looking good Dan!
Thanks!
Always do your blocking at a 45 not straight up and down on a 45
That's what I was doing
'X' pattern
Looks nice.
thanks!
Im new to paint and body if u don't mind me asking what are the best grits of sandpaper do I need to get my car ready to paint
I usually start on filler with 80 grit...once I have the shape I want I will go over it with 240 and then 320. 1st time I blocksand with 320 then 400 and finish with 600 before paint. Seems like alot, but it's a slow process and if done right will reflect in the outcome of the paint...good luck on your project!
Body work is one thing I have never done, but one thing I need to learn... would like to repaint my 80c10 some time...
bodywork can be frustrating as it requires a ton of patience...it seems like your repeating the same process forever...then all of a sudden, it's ready for paint...patience is the key! Good luck, you can do it!
Nice job for sure. What did you do on the hood for the 55?
Hammered out a couple small dents and welded up a couple trim holes...epoxy primed and block sanded a couple times...it's in black primer now!
You're doing a nice job on that 55 Dan. I subbed to keep up with updates.
Thanks...welcome aboard!
So here are some proof that people watch your video I have had two phone calls because of the content you showed about my truck and what I gave you in clothing
Excellent!
Great job on the 55, good looking gift from Wolftrain 👍… hope to see the truck you mentioned..
Thanks...oh yeah, i will show the truck when it comes!
Hey Dan have a good video my friend I can't wait to see what that car looks like really nice of your boss to let you do videos here are you have a good day my friend
Thanks...yeah, it helps me get content out and hopefully helps the shop at the same time!
Looking great! The dashes in those older trucks are so cool.
Thanks...I tried to make the radio delete look like it belongs there!
Things disappear when I do work also 😂😂 then pop up later in places I already checked 🤦
LOL...yep, damn Gremlins!
Dash turned out perfect
Thanks man!
Wow! Gauges look awesome. The delete plate was a great idea. Made the dash stand out. Great video….
Amazing what just a few pieces can do to finish things off...thanks!
Don’t get too hot, trucks looking great
Thanks!
It’s coming along now… this interior is great content!
Thank you sir!
❤️👍
Dan, its gauge not guage. Great video today, and I love the GMC gauges you've got!
LOL...I was a math guy in school...english clash sucked!
Love the way that dash looks. There's something to be said about simplicity.
thanks buddy!
Dan I'm glad you finished the tailgate and moved to the interior.. That dash looks great.. you did a fantastic job making the radio delete plate.. I hope to find me a 47-53 Chevy truck soon.. Love those gauges.. Dan, hope all is well with you and your family... You take care my friend and God Bless....
Thank you sir...kind words indeed...you'll find one, they're out there! Good luck
Looking great
Thanks man!
Got to love it where did it go I love it you have Gremlins too
Yep...they are pure evil
Good to see ..back on the. 51
I haven't stopped working on it, just takes a bit longer to get enough content for a video...that's why I'm shooting stuff at work etc. Thanks for watching!
Good luck I hate wiring. My dad was an electrician I should have listened
LOL
