Hi Rick just watched your video brilliant you must have some Irish blood in you you have an Irish sense of humour you can guess were i from buen comino from ireland 🇮🇪
Hi Rick and Nikki! Mayra and I just watched this and really enjoyed it. We are working our way down to Sicily. We are in San Nicola Arcella (Calabria) enjoying the gorgeous Tyrrhenian Sea.Hugs prima and primo!
Good stuff Rick especially for me as I have walked the Portuguese (2018), the del Norte, (2019), the Primativo, Ingles and Finisterre (2021) and part of the Via de la Plata last year. There is though one BIG difference in my experience vs yours:- I have NEVER stayed nor wanted to stay in one auberge, not for me thanks. Getting a good nights sleep and enjoying the privacy of my own bathroom (and get up when you want) makes the Camino a completely different experience. The next one you do try it; book ahead on Booking 2-3 days ahead is how to organise it......and of course, expect to use deeper pockets.

Algun dia. Cariños a todos.
Loved being a pilgrim for a day! Thanks for taking us along. Looks like you guys are really enjoying yourselves. Love to you and Nikki, safe travels!
Miss you guys too! See ya when we get back!
Oh nice! You stayed with Dries and Otto :D I did too, such a lovely place :)
Nikki had stayed there on her last trip. I gotta say, the 6am classical music wakeup was a bit much, but I loved everything else. LOL!
@@rickhiggins Ah, nice :) Yeah, we were woken up to Ave Maria :D
Haha I slept in that exact same bed btw :D
