I installed this kit within the first two weeks of purchasing my 2021 Wrangler so I didn't have a lot of time prior to compare, but I get lots of compliments and positive feedback from everyone who rides with me. Everyone agrees it looks better, acts as insolation, and is noticeably more quiet on the road. The installation is simple and the results are great. It's a win-win in my book. Glad you are liking yours so far.

I’ve been wanting to do this since the beginning. That price tag just seemed a little steep. But with so many people making comments like yours, I finally pulled the trigger.

Yes hothead headliners are better than the mopar ones, they are thicker, morar are thin like fabric. These headliners not only make sound better but cooler in the summer and the jeep heats up faster in the winter. Dies not require as much heat to combat the radiating cold on the top. Pluss it looks more modern inside. Purchase is totally worth it!

I had did not had it on my 2018, and came with my 2021 4xe. I have the factory OEM one and did notice a significant decrease in noise on the highway. I found easier to heard music and have a discussion at highway speed.

Very cool. I will be interested in how it does in the summer. If it does indeed keep it cooler when the top is on sitting outside in the sun. I have noticed with mine, while sitting at work all day, when I first get in, I can smell the hot fiberglass. Also, maybe will heat a bit more evenly in the winter. This will be my first winter with mine, so I am interested in how the overall experience will change. I am already seeing a slight decrease in battery life. I live in the Sidney Ohio ares.

I put in my Hothead Headliners while the top was still on my Wrangler... all the panels except one have stayed put. I only used Acetone, did not sand the surface at all. I've had mine installed through a hot Oklahoma summer with temps regularly over 105F. Did it help? Can't say it made that much difference in heat rejection. The area it seemed to help was to improve the quality of the factory Alpine system. The sound doesn't seem to echo as much with the panels in place.

Was one of my first mods I’m on my 4th Jeep and 4xe is by far the smoothest and quietest but kept hearing wind noise from fiberglass top
Hot Head is expensive but quality product materials look and glue strips
Cuts down on top noise insulates your head from heat in summer/ cold in winter
Purchased with sound assassin strips but not back side panels took maybe 90 minutes to install without removing top
    Bonus my stereo sounds better
    For me worth it
Follow the install instructions video to have no issues

Hopefully it will make a noticeable difference with temperature regulation also. P.S. I leave both my sunshades on; one-piece over two-piece. Arizona sun, and a little added storage.

I thought about putting the AlienShade back in and putting some insulation of some sort over it.

I had a feeling (commented in FB) that you might not need the science to prove it out -- instant and noticeable difference to my experience as well. Noise was actually ancillary benefit for me as hot desert sun north of 100F on the fiberglass enclosure was our biggest concern. Equally noticeable is the heat reduction. I can only assume it's a bit warmer as well in the coldest winter months.

My sound system sounds so much better too.

What color are those panels? I just ordered these in black but I'm thinking yours is the graphite color and looks great, now wondering if I should switch colors...

These are graphite or gray. I forget what the website called it.

Awesome! I just contacted the company to see if I can switch them up, thanks for the quick reply!
