  • Both headliners offer good sound deadening thickness at 1/2 inch . Quality is great on both.
Reason I went with BoomMat is it’s very highly reviewed online, was more flexible and lighter therefor easier to install. The back of it is fully taped so offers very good seal and shouldn’t peel away from roof. And finally to me visually the solid black and smoothness of the top layer just looked nicer.

Just curious what your experience was like after the install. Did you notice much difference in sound? How about heat/cold?

It does seem like the noise level has decreased for sure. Music sounds better, and taking phone calls seems more clear. I recently added the final rear piece kit, will post. I noticed once that was in, it was even slightly more quieter. Highway sound though is inevitable lol
As for the the temperature, I do feel the AC remained colder, and heat retention will find out soon the Canadian fall weather is arriving

will velcro patches stick to the Bedrug headliner? looks like its almost "carpet like"... but maybe not?

Yes it’s more a carpet like material , however I didn’t try but I think you actually ‘can’ stick Velcro patches on this material
