Jeep Gladiator Boom Mat Headliner Review + Install + Let's Paint the Hard Top Too! Why Not?

Before I install the Boom Mat I decided I wanted to paint the inside of the hard top with Rustoleum Bedliner while I was at it. It turned out to be quite the day!

Can you show how you hung your doors? I have 2 jeeps so real estate is a premium in the garage, and i liked both doors in only 2 spots. Also love the black headliner...

Steam the crease out? Looks pretty good

You could have downloaded a decibels meter on your phone and measured the difference in sound before and after. That would have been AMAZING!

I have a 2013 Jk. I’m preparing to install the Boom Mat. Two of my panels where folded in the shipping box. The creases look horrible. The edges are unfinished. The mat is so flimsy I’m guessing it’s nearly impossible to get a perfect fit when installing. I paid $404 for the mat leather. It’s a lot of money for foam rubber. I’m looking at other options before installing. I want to paint but it looks like a huge investment in time. I’ve got a lot of other projects going. The roof definitely looks better painted.

Do you think the boom mat would have stuck to the bedliner if you didn't tape off those sections?

Mopar needs to come up with a really good headliner. So far I don't see one that is truely good.

First time viewer & this is a year old or more at this point but i can't believe the laziness 😅 willing to do all this with but yet taped of the lock down lever vs removing it which would have ben faster in sure lol. Still enjoyed the video , think I'm making my own as well as painting the white cause it's ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY HORRIBLE !!!! why do they want it to look and feel like your in a foam cooler !? Lol

Never under stood why they made the inside top white and not black from the factory 😕
