what platform do you use to sell your cars

How do you deal with the consumer rights act with such old cars? I tend to avoid older cars because of it.
What do you mean with this comment? Could you elaborate please
@@marlo9592 Customers can return a car within the first 2 weeks for any reason.
They can return it within the first 30 days if it has any fault.
And they can return it within 6 months for any fault that is deemed to have been present at the time of purchase.
In the case of the car in the video, that was sold online, there are distance selling laws that are even worse.
I'd prefer to sell cheap runabout cars under £3k, but I'm wary of the consumer rights act. I'm trying to find out how these garages that sell really cheap cars , deal with selling to the public.
@@guitarbytes thank you for explaining your logic around this. I am interested to know what the response will be?
My guess would be he’s selling the cars as private sale, so he has no responsibility after the car he sold.
@@gaborbogdan1169 You could only do a few cars a year like that. Otherwise a court would find you are a trader.
You can sell as "spares or repairs" , but I think it has to be to a trader, and the car should be towed away.
How do you advertise the car for £20 on auto trader?
That is how much it is for 2 weeks, at this price point of vehicle.
When you buy cars like this one how does insurance work
After buying the car do you do temporary cover until the car is sold ???
I have trade insurance
