Had several 7’s over the years, inc e65, they have been reliable and comfortable, also servicing at main dealers has been very reasonable, but. If something major goes wrong expect a big bill commensurate with a £60k+ flagship car. Although I’ll warrant still less than Jag, Merc & Audi. Only thing I would say about e65, is if you get a clunk when it goes from 2nd to 1st it’s possible the rubber connector between on the engine side of the drive shaft, a cheap fix, if you are doing that change the centre drive shaft bearing as well. If one’s gone the other is not far behind. Usually around 120k miles..great car loved it. Great video.

Very interesting video, but I would have thought you could also mention the Ulez congestion and pollution charge problem in London and other big cities and people selling combustion engined vehicles and buying electric cars instead, particularly as the Chinese are producing masses of cheap very good electric vehicles now and pay zero road tax?

Slightly confused how a trader did not think it was too good to be true, also the finance broker would surely of have questioned the price at £290 a month with £3K down. We would all have one. It was always worth a try, but the might of Marshall’s were not going to let you away with it.

Look at the review I left on Google in the name of BiggaJ about the main Range Rover dealer in Reading. Had a very similar experience a few years ago after previously having bought two cars from them. Sharp practice is what I call it. In my business, a deal is a deal even if mistakes may have been made. A contract is a contract, they would push you if this worked in their favour.

get the motor ombudsman involved I bought a new car from vw Camberley had issues from day one they would not take the car back told me to go and do one. So got the ombudsman involved 2 months later got my money back plus other costs but could not my px as they sold it. But in the end I won my case.

The dealers make 6-12% on financed amount so you showing up with your own agreement means they lose out alot.

I gave a car back for a refund recently. Day 1 of having it. One rear door didnt open and the other didnt lock. Was happy to have a repair but the way the dealer acted at the thought of a refund was a major red flag. I have sympathy for car dealers but if a customer wants a refund in the first week as it has issues i think its only fair. Respect to this dealer handling things as a pro!!!

My take, which is contrary to the majority. You went to a main dealer and ended up dealing with 3 muppets. You received poor service. You tried to buy a poor example of a very poor car. You tried to get it on finance at a ridiculous APR. You KNEW the price was suspicious at best, but it was obviously wrong to me in the first 30 seconds. So you're now spitting your dummy out. You should thank the muppets for saving you😏 Worst bit is that large corporations like this are ruthless. They will find someone to blame, probably the one at the bottom of the food chain. Could be looking at the sack (may have a mortgage, partner, kids) but you get your bit of useless bling and some TH-cam clicks🤮

I know this car. My friend bought this new in 2018 and paid £103k! He sold it back to Land Rover when they were desperate for newish stock during covid in 2021 - he got around £70k. Good value even at £40k considering the spec! Shame its uninsurable😂!
