    Had an ex demo in 2001 up until 2016, apart from brakes, exhaust and tires never had to do anything, absolutely brilliant car.

    I have the same car in gray. Year of manufacture 2004 manual transmission. The problem for me is the speedometer instrument cluster flickers and sometimes stops working when I start the car. But while driving for about 10 minutes the speedometer works again sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

      I think all things considered not bad if that's the worst of your troubles.

    This is puzzling. I have a 2004 Nissan Almera Tino (manual) and it is ULEZ compliant. so far anyway, 58,000 miles . I have been looking for an automatic of this model due to knee problems when driving a manual, especially in stop start rush hour traffic which we have to do occasionally. I thought the automatic was also ULEZ compliant. Shame as I was on the verge of making a big mistake with a different car.

      It's weird on this one....the base spec on some are ULEZ compliant I think like a "S"....but only way is to run the reg over on the ULEZ checker

      @@sutsi Yes, I guess so. The car I had my eye went today so will leave chasing anything for the moment. Ours in in for service & MoT next Tues and a bit of work needed (torsion bar) so hoping they can fix it. It's been a good car overall though. Thanks for your reply.

      @@sutsi .... have a day out at the seaside with a 'for sale' sign it. It's an auto MPV, it'll go. Sometimes you have to take "the mountain to mohammed!"😁 People don't buy these cars because they 'want' them, they buy them because they 'need' them. It doesn't do 200mph, it cant 0-60 in 4secs, it won't win any beauty competitions. But as a workhorse, for shopping, days out, kids, school run, Costco washing machines. everyone needs one but they are not sexy, so they get neglected. Scenic's, Picasso's, everyone hates them, but.......?

    my dad has also Almera it is unreliable like sometimes it wont start like WTH you told its Reliable

    • @sutsi
      @sutsi  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Sorry to hear that. On the whole they are good cars but no vehicle is immune to issues and when we classify reliability it's according to how few as a percentage of the whole are troublesome. So a renault you'd find say 20 out of 100 cars are troublesome whereas only 5 out of 100 almeras are troublesome, so therefore it's deemed more reliable. Additionally It may well be a service item that's just reached end of useful life - they have to wear out at some point. or a reflection that previously it was not maintained to manufacturer recommended intervals.

      @@YT_Gopnik_Mario yes immobiliser issues are common. I had similar issues with an Almera...I did a video on it..see link below. My one it turned out to be the starter motor on that occasion.
