    Great video, nice truck brother! I have a 21 P4X also, with 56K miles on mine. I love my Titan, and it's hard to find any major issues. Most of the things I dislike are minor, but overall, it's a great truck. I live right down the street, just outside of Columbia, SC. I hope to see you on the road! Ha.

    Nice review! I just picked up a 2021 Titan P4X a couple weeks ago. Totally agree about the transmission, I got the reprogram, and the lower gears are a little wonky. Other than that, love the truck, big, beefy, powerful.

    As a 2021 pro4x owner I agree with all your comments. Especially since my wife is about 5 foot tall haha - good thing she always falls asleep on long drives. Love my truck the good definitely outweighs the bad. The 1st gear shifting thing was very annoying at first - specifically at the stop like you mentioned - but the trade off is all the high gear shiftings are very smooth - never hunts for gears. Also it got ALOT better with the ECU / TCU updates.

    I have an 05. It’s used hard with 316k miles. It’s truly hideous because I live in Florida so the entire truck is “patina”. The seats are all ripped. It runs perfectly, smoothly straight and clean. It started to sputter a bit so, I clobbered the ECM with a rubber mallet. She’s good to go again. I love everything about this truck.

    As a recent owner of a 20k mi SV glad to hear you've learned to live with the slight quirks in low gear and start/stop. I noticed feathering into the pedal helps the issues go away, but still might consider a pedal commander in the future, based on the testimony of some other Titan owners.

    Just picked a 2021 up,… Traded a GMC AT4 in for it. I’m more than happy with it. GMC towing capacity 6300 LBS Dry. Titan 9300 lbs. We plan on getting a trailer, so this was the main reason for taking the leap. This truck just rides better, Sits better. Feels like a truck from the 80’s. That’s what I was missing the most while in the GM. Didn’t realize it until I test drove the Nissan.

    For a custom exhaust, you should consider an Xforce Varex or Valvetronics muffler. The mufflers have a valve that can be opened or closed. I have a set on my Camaro SS and love them. No drone inside the cabin. Both make a universal that should weld up nicely.

    Yeah,,,,, the 1995 D21 Terrano/Pathfinder we had, had numerous design problems consistent with this truck and l have to ask myself: 'Does Nissan ever learn?" The simple answer is 'they don't and never will while they are still placing company profitability above consumer satisfaction'. l wont be rushing out to buy any Nissan any time soon.

    I Love my 2024. I was upset to hear this was the last year. I’ve always had Nissan trucks and they are very reliable.
    The rough downshift that jerks you is an inherent issue in the pro4x only. The SV models don’t do that. It is the spline in the rear end resetting as the truck comes to a stop and levels. You can drop the axle and pack it with great but it will eventually return. It is not a transmission issue. 0:02

    1. Off Road Lighting setup
    2. Front and rear bumper with front 12k lbs rated winch
    3. Roof rack
    If you want to get MPG in the high 20s (up to 30 mpg at 60 mph), get a 33" michelin ltx tires with a skinny 255mm wide tires. 😅

I found a hack on the Ridgeline forum where guys were ordering the door checks for the front doors and putting them on the rear doors and it allowed the rear door to open almost 90 degrees with no rubbing or hitting the front door. Check the Titan forums to see if anyone has tried that.

    • @the_next_adventure
      @the_next_adventure  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Can’t drop it down to a reasonable mph of 60-interstate speed limit is 70 😂 I also gave the caveat in the video that it was 70+ so expectations have to be reasonable. I also stated that I’ve gotten 23+ on the highway at lower speeds. I swear people don’t actually watch videos or listen. The “lack of power” was a general statement about Nissan/Infiniti and how they handle it compared to other cars in the class-the produce high revving engines with short first gears. 400hp is the rating, but the Titan makes far less than that, by the way.
