Smoke flavor penetration depends on how cooked the meat is. I start in smoke mode , temp cold, CLD, for about 30/40 minutes, the finish smoke mode at 275 for 30 minutes. Then add sauce and go for 10 minutes. The idea came from indians whe smoke in a cold hut for a week. Alaskian or Canadian smoked salmon is to die for.
Mmmmmmmm, Those ribs looked delicious but I was curious as to why you didn't just use the Woodfire grill to continue to cook the ribs with the bake function instead of using your inside oven. Take care and stay safe in OK. Your Preskitt friend.
Hi Robert, I can't get all of the ribs on the Ninja Grill at one time, so I put the smoke flavor on the ribs with the smoker, and then bring them back inside and put them in the oven so I can continue cooking the ribs all at one time. I am usually doing three full racks, so using the inside oven is easier. Sometimes I will use my larger smoker and I can do all of the cooking in the larger smoker. Hope this makes sense! Peter
@@CookingWithPeterOK Oh OK, now I understand. I have that same Woodfire Grill and love it. But since there is only two of us I don't usually cook that many ribs. Take care and keep those nice and easy recipes coming.
