Sure, it's small and unnoticeable from up there, but with all the unused space in the map, surely they could've put it somewhere out further, or under the map? Very cool find though! I wonder if it's also in the remastered version.
Sometimes i wonder if some devs on the level design team voluntarily hide small things like, not telling their boss. Either to make a contest with other level designers about who can push it the most before getting caught, or to either show off to their friends 😂! Pretty sure they just forgot to delete it before release though.
You can also do this on the Wii version (Modern Warfare Reflex) I remember watching a video about this usable hidden turret back in 2010 so I tested it out
I swear I’ve used it in the campaign before. If you successfully shoot the gunner as you fly in he should not appear later at the cross road. Maybe I’m confusing it with MW2 “Hornets Nest” but I feel like I’ve used it.
This is an OG out of the map glitch lol theres like 3 other ways to do this but the main one is the sprint and jump on top of the wall across the street from where the truck appears, at least that's what we used to do back in 2007😅
@@perocigla4425 No, I mean why do they make the ground solid instead of the player just falling through the ground since you're not meant to be there anyway.
@@magikaros Well then you'd have to reload the checkpoint, it's annoying to fall off the map, and you can't do that in real life anyway. So it's more realistic to make it so you can walk and put a wall that you can't cross to go any further. And falling off the map always looks like a bug, like something is broken.
Funny that. In infantry battalions the M2 is one of three main machine guns. A light, medium and heavy. This game skips straight to the Mk19, which is something used, but it's arguably less common.
At around 45 seconds in, I had a massive sense of deja vu for those old screamer pop up videos that were formatted exactly like this moment. Exited full screen just to be safe
Veteran difficulty is somewhat do-able on the modern warfare series because the player can take a few AK-47 rounds The WW2 games on the other hand...just one hit from those bolt action rifles and your health gets critical and back you go behind cover...

You know what's hilarious is that I remember doing this completely on accident when I was 11 or 12 years old because I was bored and didn't have Xbox Live at the time so I couldn't communicate with my friends. Legit just loaded this mission up and started trying to leave the map and found the gun.

after recently playing cod4 on veteran, seeing you just stand in the middle of the road is extremely unnerving

Man theres so many legit ways to get out if modern warfares map its as if they wanted you to find a way out and explore
