First time playing this mission was pretty scary tbh, like a whole army is chasing me while it's just me and some scottish dude who broke his leg because bro thinks he was in a movie after shooting down the helicopter

This mission is the second hardest for me when first time playing this game. The first one is the mission where you have to run from the farmhouse to the helicopter few hours after killing Al-Assad. I couldn't count how many time I die in that mission

At the start of the mission, you can hear that claymore being planted

Fun fact: You can actually head shot Zaekhav and kill him but in the final mission he somehow comes back with a missing arm.

No, it will always left arm shot no matter how you attack him. Tried using knife he doesn't die

Funny how the one who asks "Where's MacMillan?!" is shown in the subtitles to be an SAS soldier, when on the contrary, the friendly soldiers are USMC.

@@RoenAccurate no lol they're not SAS. The fact that they come in a pave low and that they wear the same kit worn by the USMC in "No Fighting In The War Room" is enough to show they're US Marines.

@@RoenAccurate yes but the pave low has always been used by the USMC. you can see it in the cod wiki it states Big Bird as having being used by the Marines. Also regarding reused assets, that's not plausible lol. They could've always used the SAS models in this mission. They didn't. It's clear they're Marines. Otherwise, they would have fixed it in Remastered.

I remember playing this on vet and kept on dying, took so long that by the time the chopper finally arrived, I completely forgot to grab MacMillan and just legged it to the chopper, didn't even notice anyone shout "WHERE'S MACMILLAN?", because I was so relieved that I finally completed the mission once I was in the chopper, only for the prompt to show up on screen telling me I need to bring him and then I died again on my way to him, took a few more tries before I eventually managed to get us both in the chopper 😂
Trying to beat WaW on veteran and looking back at this, a whole lot easier (° ͜ʖ °)

Getting this one done on veteran is so tough at the end, but there’s a little shack to the right of the Ferris wheel that makes it easier: go inside, go prone, shoot whoever comes to the door. When I did it, they threw so many grenades/I had so many indicators everywhere the whole on but they never hit me inside the shack so eventually I got mac and got out
It was very tough waiting for the chopper I died multiple times haha
I usually went to the left and hid behind the concrete road blocks
I swear the campaign enemies carry a squad's worth of ordinance PER INDIVIDUAL. Barely one step below having a dude teleport behind you and stab you if you're still for more than 10 seconds on Veteran

Yeah in old version call of duty we can abandon macmillan when time out . But remaster version will automatic fail if dont bring macmillan to heli in time

Veteran difficulty in CoD 4:Modern Warfare was the hardest campaign because the enemy would kill you from only two shots
