I was just looking to get a general idea of a globe valve as I had never heard of one before. I did not expect to be virtually pampered by an absolute ripper of a presentation and explanation.

Great video. Another good mention for the backseat is the ability to easily access and replace packing while the valve is inline.

Nice vid, but I think making the animation play again once you've zoomed in to the section, like at 5:35 would help visualize it better.

Thank you for your great efforts , But if you could I want a catalog of your valve for different sizes & I have a question : does this valve have a possibility of setting a pressure & flow ?

I am not sure whether to request you to make a video on the ship steering system. If you can, please throw a video on this topic. By the way the content of your channel is brilliant. Thank you very much.

Good informative but i do not understand the backseat concept. As we try to close valve in the presence of the fluid at backseat chamber .Fluid does not have any path to go and it would be impossible to close for imcompressible fluid the result would be leakage of packing .but this does not happened in it , which is making me confuse as there is no fluid flow simulation .

This valve is gate valve.... In gate valve the stem goes up and the rotating handle remains at rest.
