I’ve been seeing many Mach Es in Southern California recently. It’s picking up steam.
I think sales will really take off when the Mach E has the NACS charge port. Until then I would just lease it. By the time the lease is up you can give that one back and get the NACS one.

I have seen a Mach-e in a Ford dealership. It is a gorgeous car. But it is too expensive, too big and too premium for most people.
The Tesla Model Y is a far more affordable offer.
Ford Canada has jumped on board as well! Offering $1500 to tesla owners compared to the $10000 rebate offered to US tesla owners. Another slap to canadians....
Desperation
I had the Mustang on loan while my Hyundai Kona EV was being fixed (had to wait for a part for weeks). And… Elon was right: a very large part of the car is software. Not just the car but the driving experience. And the Mustang was a mess. For instance: the lane keeping feature in the Kona works so well that you hardly notice it until you turn it off, but in the Mustang I felt I was constantly fighting the steering wheel.
I’d never buy a modern car without putting all aspects of the software through its paces. And the Mustang’s is crap.

Easy there, mate. The Ford is an Americano legend in the Auto world.
Holding on to my Mercedes from 2012. Still runs just fine. Will cost me much more to get a ev here in Sweden as a Tesla Model 3 in usa would go for like 30.000$ here in Sweden it go for a little more than x2. 61.000$-62.000$

I would take the $10K and flip it because I don't desire any of the Ford EVs over Teslas.
I drove a Mustang Mach-E and it was kinda plain and under powered.
We test drove one. I considered it but the cheapest Mach E I saw was above 60K. Too steep for me.
Sam, you could list the discounts in some way, that would make it clearer. I realise this will take you time until you are in to it. Wish I could help.

Looks to me like Ford will be discontinuing the Lightning because they can’t make money on it…

So that’s how they thank Tesla for allowing Ford EV’s on the SuperCharger network saving their ass. That’s a Bush League move, but not surprising.
AMERICA OVER CAPACITY OF ARMS SUPPLY
I worked for Toyota when they overtook Ford as the largest car manufacture in the world. In their research they clearly identified that price does not matter to the point where only 5% of the market put price as their first consideration when buying a new car. Things like color, perceived quality, service and brand loyalty ranked much higher than price and in fact large discounts had a tendency to breed suspicion.

They probably dont chase ICE drivers because they realise most ICE drivers dont want EVs whatever the price
