This is the most beautiful thing I have seen since my dad took care of my mom up until her death. She had 2 strokes, and 3 bouts of cancer before she died. He absolutely refused to put her in a nursing home and she was blessed to be able to die in her own bed in her house with Dad by her side the entire time. He loves her still and can't wait to be with her again. They were married 48 years when she died. Another beautiful example of true love. We miss you Mom.

@@ycl9234 not that simple. My late grandpa had Dementia. It gets to a point where he just eat, sleep, stare at TV shows with no reaction. Even when we all talk to him, there is nothing. It’s like his soul had already left his body.
Very easy to say this, but are you willing to clean your dad/Mum private parts after they soil themselves? That is a impt question.
Sometimes it’s not a matter whether we want or not, it’s whether can we do it? Will your employer let you take frequent annual leave or leaving work early?
Most of the time, we can’t. So we had to hire private nurse and a maid to take care of him.

This loving husband has demonstrated what true love means. In our highly materialistic society today, most couples marry for money and good times. However, when the money or good time is gone, and so is their love. How sad!
Honestly, if I am young and just want good times, I don't need to get married.
In my opinion, marriage means to find your better second half who really loves and appreciates you no matter if it is in good times or in bad situations.
A loving spouse will encourage you when you fail, wipe your tears when you are sad, life you up when you fall, and stay by your bedside when you are sick. When there is true love, it doesn't matter how much work you do in caring for your ailing spouse, you will still find joy from it.
Have you ever wonder why you have chosen your spouse out of more than 7 billion people in the world? I hope that all married couples would love and appreciate your second half just like the loving husband in the video.

      @naomipask1809 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

My grandmother gave me some sage words of advice; a wedding is lovely but is nothing but fluff and ceremony. A marriage is the important thing and is how well you stick to your vows every day after. It means when times are hard, when you aren’t getting along, through the sleepless nights and when your partner is sick, you stand by them, support them, encourage them and advocate for them as best you can. It has helped me immensely and 23 years later we are still going strong..

E.g. love them, laugh with them, hug them (if they're willing) or else just touch them in ways they can appreciate. Give them things they enjoy. Play hymns or soothing music. Use scents they like in the house eg lavender oil or lemongrass or lemon or orange. Talk to them in ways they can understand and never give up, always listen to them. But accept that her brain biochemical processes have caused her to be unable to access memories - accept it, don't contradict her but always smile, be kind, and always love... (I went through the "grieving" process of 'losing' my grandma's mind already; now I'm happy when she's happy, and be happy as they can mirror ur emotions.)

I knew of a family who were so loving & caring towards their 87year old mother who was suffering from dementia. The son would let her stay in her reverie since the mother's memory had taken her back to the time she was a young girl staying at her parents house & would think that her son was her elder brother & ask him to take her back to her parents house. The son would then take her out for a ride & let her sing & enjoy the outdoors before coaxing her to get her back home.He would listen to her & keep her engaged. She lived a very happy & peaceful life till she reached 92 years of age & left this world in her sleep.

Brings tears to my eyes, not only from how Dementia robs memories away but also how he has resigned to coping with his wife suffering from it 🥺
His love for her is not only admirable but incredibly beautiful ❤❤❤
I know it so very well when my dad had Dementia before finally succumbed to a heart attack & passed on 😔
I wish you both a long, happy life together

The greatest acts of love are done in the smallest ways 💖 I wish many would be so lucky to know a devoted love 😘 where as the world we live today , I would not expect a younger man to give up his business for his wife ... They would rather give up the wife 🙈💖🥰 This man is Wonderful ... He puts the Term in " sickness & health ” she will never truly know how lucky she is to be loved so deeply 💖

Since you just clearly went on to talk about divorce, abuse and stuff, I just naturally talked about him talking about the love he has for his wife.
While I do agree with what you said in this latest comment, you dont have to act like the wisdom master yourself. I mean, no disrespect but you took a completely negative side of things. Being someone who understands Mandarin, I got what he said was something like what I explained. I cleared it up. The truth is, while its true, it seems like 2 people wrote the og comment and this one because I replied meaning it in a very different way
