I've been rooting for them ever since the first Can Ask Meh (Dementia) episode. I pray for ease for both of you in whatever you do.

Considering that he was diagnosed a decade ago, it is impressive that he is still able to engage in full conversations. Whatever treatment he's under must be rather effective in slowing down the dementia's progression.

That mean he is willing to fight his dementia which is why he can engage in full convo.
I know whenever you heard of dementia, some patient easily gave up & think there is no cure for dementia.
To me,you have to fight dementia to win, that why the uncle can stay strong.

@@tommyfield8449 I don't think it is as simple as the will to fight it, though it certainly helps.
I've cared for a loved one who beat cancer, only to have her completely lose her mind to dementia within a year just two years later - imagine, loss of bowel control, a former chatterbox who refused to utter a word so you can never know what she wants or needs

Lovely uncle and aunty! Thank you for your story. My parents also have dementia and it is hard on the family and caretaker. May God bless you both and may you be healthy and happy!

College Green is my childhood play ground. I lived there for almost 30 years. This video is about their love . But this video also brings lots of memories; the students hostel, Adam road hawker center and inside College Green “ estate.” All were part of me that could never be erased. And they were also part of you that will never be erased too. Thank for your outstanding loveliness.
