Steve is to the point where he's just one upping himself each project. Nobody can touch these finer details and nobody puts this much effort in. The level of know-how and craftsmanship is fuckin awesome.
I can't wait to see KK's build with how much capability there is in the shop these days.
i wouldn't go that far....lots of people i admire (and used to admire but not so much anymore) can do better work than i do. But thanks i do appreciate the comment :)

well to be fair, i still had to learn how to use the machines and do all the designing...tool paths etc. It ain't just pushing buttons, there is a LOT done before i can think about putting them on the CNC or laser. But i hear ya. After 30 years of NOT having machines to do this it is nice to have them.

Oh sweet a new SMD upload. I'm working on my system today too, for a hand me down Accord I just got. Nothing major just hiding some wiring for a RF powered sub enclosure and maybe installing a LOC if it shows up today. The HU, amp, mids and highs are still all stock Honda but at least it's "premium sound". 😂 Yeah it barely counts as a system but it actually sounds pretty clean & bumps pretty decent inside the car. If I end up keeping this car for a while it'll get a more extensive install but at least now I have some bass. Got some deadener coming tomorrow, figured even though it's a small system I might as well make the most of the install.

I'm tired of the C O O F. Not door panel builds. I love the mounting of the tweeters from B2 audio. anything that makes it a little easier to do an installation is wonderful.

Are the lower pods sealed or ported? I’m in the process of completly overhauling my system and watching your videos have given me a ton of ideas. I’m just wondering if its better to have a sealed or ported enclosure for the mids and tweeters.

no. You see each group (6.5's, 3's and tweets) are very close to each other? This will reduce any issues like that. If i was to plaster my speakers all over the vehicle with no thought put into it...then it could be a problem
