    The structure of this car is way different from the USDM version the structure collapsed at the top of the A pillar creating a edge the US Model doesn't do that sad that they use lower quality materials for their cars so they can be sold for less money
    edit: I also just saw the Side crash test and if you compare it to NHTSA NBD side crash test and compared them and yeah they do not look so good especially that the fact that this one was done at 31 MPH and the NHTSA was done at 38 MPH th-cam.com/video/OWR3a_hgF1M/w-d-xo.html link to NHTSA side crash test

      NHTSA's barrier looks way smaller. I'm curious to see if the Elantra gets re-tested by the IIHS with the newer, bigger barrier in the side crash test.

      IIHS has not yet release documentary of the 2022 model small overlap test

    The 2017 chassis is much more durable

      Best stick with volvo or mercedes both of which are statistically safer then tesla worldwide see the issue with your logic we've gone from a budget car to tesla to luxury cars.
