I did. My driving instructor took my exam but his behavior was more like an alien towards me through out. He never encouraged me for anything but just criticized so I am happy that I got rid of him finally.
@@mannay7528 dont be nervous its ok, follow the laws and everything else and dont be unable to control the viehicle. Didnt see ur 2nd comment congrats!
Update: (I’m the one in the video) Passed my test on the second try 2 weeks later! Worked on backing up and my turn signals, good luck to everyone with their test!!
Guys I failed my first test because I was anxious. Took my second one yesterday very confidently and passed. The key to passing is to stay confident and remember everything you know and were taught, you got this guys, you’re gonna get your license!!!
Tips - put on seatbelt - check all mirrors as soon as you get in the vehicle and adjust if needed - turn the radio/music off if its on - look over your shoulder even if you see that its clear in your mirrors to make a turn - drive carefully but not scared or nervous - stop before the white line - quickly look left and right into the intersection even if your light is green - watch out for pedestrians and bicycles at intersections - pay attention to the posted speed limit - do not take your seatbelt off early or as soon as the test is over wait for the instructor to do it first
don't stress yourself out with these videos... i thought it was going to be hard but all i did was drive down a main road turn left into a neighborhood, go through 3 stop signs turning left, back onto the main road where i turned right and back to the dmv. lane changed twice and boom i was done, literally took like 5 minutes. perfect score too, you guys got it
*ATTENTION* I understand you wanna know how to not fail your test by watching failed attempts and what not to do, but you should instead be watching successful attempts and things you should be doing during the test. This will keep your mind focussed on succeeding. It can change your overall view and confidence on the test. Thats how I passed 👍🏾
I passed yesterday first try and you really gotta chill out while taking the test. If you know you’re a good driver/good parker, then you will do great and pass. But if you’re doubting yourself on test day - it makes it easier to fail.
I took my driver's test today for my 2nd attempt and passed! If you're taking your driver's test soon or in the future, I wish you luck. Please pay attention, obey the signs(especially speed and school zone), and overall just take your time. You got this!
Had my Driving Test this past Tuesday, and discovering this channel is what gave me the confidence to finally get my license at 27 years old. Passed the test on my 1st try and the examiner was really nice and laid back.
After my first two fails I came to realize that the test drive is a business for the state, the evaluators purposely fail is because when we re-apply it lines their pocket. Now I have my license without taking the test the third time with the help a a private dmv attorney for a small charge.
I took my test two days ago for the second time and i didn’t do so well and I am too ashamed to take another one but seeing this made me have a slight relief. Can you help me with any recommendation of the attorney that helped you
@@Ava_Robinsondo not be ashamed or discouraged I'm a walking idiot but I passed the second time. If possible use a smaller car for the test and it's important to calm your nevers and your heart before the test. Do some breathing exercises and if you're religious make sure to pray
I took my test today; August 31 at noon! I was super nervous… but thanks God I passed on my first try. For the people who are going to take it 🙏🏽 may God give you peace, put favor and grace on you and help you do well on the road test.
@@nheyderrueda7310 Pay attention to the signs, to the speed limit, brake as smoothly as possible, use your turn signal, use your mirrors, look surrounding but above all be calm :) good luck! You can do it!
I FREAKING PASSED MY TEST TODAY!! I went up there to take my test twice, and left because of anxiety. I’ve been driving for over a year. Not anything consistent but here in there I’ve gotten lots of practice. But my nerves always got the best of me when coming to take the test. I’m someone who’s just very anxious. But I finally stopped overthinking it or really thinking about it at all. And I just went and took the test. The driver instructor was a highway patrolman. He looked very young, like 20 to 25. But he was so kind and calm. All he did was tell me where to go and I calmly followed those instructions. AND I PASSED🙌🙌🙌 (At the end he told me I could’ve been a little bit closer to the curb and to look over my shoulder more when backing. But I still passed and I’m so happy.) I’ve never took drivers lessons, my mom is not the best driver in the world, and I have the anxiety of a freaking deer so trust me if I can do it you can do it! Stop thinking about it and just go take your test. These videos help A LOT but don’t overthink it. You can do it!!!! (I just turned 18 btw and my graduation is this weekend, so it was about time lol)
CONGRATS!! anxiety always stopped me from even thinking about learning, i got over it and finally practiced and i’m 21 now and i have my test today. still a little nervous tbh
@@jacobtorres6470 good luck!! I know everyone says it and it sounds repetitive but just focus on the road and listen to the instructions. And you’ll do just fine. My instructor didn’t make any small talk, he wasn’t rude but he just told me where to go and I did. Of course I was still nervous the whole time, I almost cried and didn’t go in for the third time lol. But I just forced myself to do it, not think about it just do it. And by the end he only had two remarks about my driving and I am now a licensed driver! I bet by the end of the day you will too! Have faith in yourself! And remember nervousness is normal, and it probably won’t go away until after you take the test. So just do it! Good luck! I’m sending you the best vibes ever and hopefully you have a really chill examiner! You got this! My only driving tip is Be observant! Check your mirrors! That’s all they’re looking for; An aware and safe driver. :)
This is why you make sure you go straight and then steer when it's safe whenever you reverse out of a parking space in a parking lot. Especially when the parking lot is crowded. And make sure to look both sides and back in case of any vehicles or padestrians.
I was 21 when I finally did my test.. My examiner didn't exactly live up to his reputation. I was a nervous wreck and he only escalated the tension. He looked as if he was having a bad day and was annoyed to sit in my car before even speaking. Although I did everything right, there was a point when I approached a 4 way intersection. He instructed me to take a left. Before I did, I checked my left, then my right. As I looked right, I noticed he was also looking right. As I took my left he told me I didn't look right. I responded with "You were looking right and didn't notice me doing the same." It was as if he didn't register that last bit, responding with, "Don't be dependent on me to look left or right for you. You're not training anymore, you're the driver here." At this point I knew this guy was having a bad day, from his tone and annoyed responses. So I calmly rephrased to clarify my defense when we reached the next stop sign, hoping he wouldn't mark it down as a strike on my test results. He just glared at me for a solid moment in silence, which was a reaction I didn't expect. It was as if he was going to assult me. I didn't have words to say, I just tensed up in silence. He raised his voice and said something like, "I can fail you right now if you're gunna snap at me, buddy. Don't waste my time." I was completely shocked, I couldn't imagine how this test could be any worse. Save crashing my car. Looking back, I really didn't have much backbone, hence why it took till I was 21 to conjure the courage to drive. Today as I am now, if I had an examiner as pissy and delusional as him talking to me like that, I would have told him to get the fuck out of my fucking car and have him walk his fat ass back to the dmv building. I wouldn't even care if I flunked my test because of it. I could always take another. But I digress, miraculously I passed, but as he put it, sighing with frustration, "You barely made it. But just be more careful and alert next time you're behind the wheel." What a piece of work, let me tell ya.
Thanks for this story, I’m 21 and plan to take my test this year too. I also used to have a huge problem with having a backbone but stand up for myself more and more every year! This helped with thinking of what the worst could happen, he sounds like a jackass.
Thank you for this. Now i know what to do during my test. Have my phone on record inside my pocket and ask him to leave my car if i get someone like this.
She is very polite and speaks a lot, If I were the driver I will ask her to be more basic with instructions, since she can confuse the driver speaking that much.
to anyone worrying about their drivers test you got this! i passed mine today and honestly it was really easy. the examiners are not out to get you they just want to know if you are ready to pass and drive on the road. it’s really not as bad as it sounds.
Got my drivers license during the pandemic they were practically giving those things away. I still don’t know how to properly parallel park among other things. Had no idea you had to turn the wheels differently when parking up and downhill. I studied the driving book to pass the written test not to learn anything. Never took the actual driving test with an instructor so these videos actually help.
People saying they should NOT have failed him for hitting a cone but YES they should have. It was a parking spot.. had it been a car he would have hit it. It’s not the end of the world.. he can take extra time to practice and try again.
Took my test 4 years ago, but I still remember watching these types of videos all the way up until the day of my test😂😂 (and still do here and there 👀) 1)Try to relax-you’ve practiced so you know what to do! 2) Try to get some sleep: a tired brain leads to stupid mistakes 3)Ask for Clarification if needed 4) Be confident in your driving- if you are not confident then your examiner will likely not have confidence in you either I wish you all the best and pray you pass your test (be it your first time or your fourth 😂)
Guys I was so nervous to get my license to and to have my drivers test. I dreaded it for months but finally worked up enough courage to do my lessons and get it done. I feel sooo much better getting it done and I want you guys to know you’re perfect just the way you are. With or without a license, this test will one day pass and everything will be alright! Good luck guys!
My examiner was so chill, he was like just go up around this block, do a three point turn and since theirs no cars on the road you don’t have to parallel park just pull up alongside the curb, lol
Mines Was Chill To...We Ran Into A Accident..So she Said.."Test Over" Lets Go On Back🤣😆 I Said Word..That's It..Shiiid..You Ain't Gotta Tell Me Twice 👏🏾🤷🏾♂️😂🤣
I passed mine on the first try. The key is to take your time!!! It was way easier then I thought and honestly after you get your license you’re gonna laugh about how nervous you were. I practiced for almost two years lol
I passed in february first try and these videos helped a lot. Im telling you right now that you help a lot of anxious drivers feel better with these videos. Thanks
I passed my driving test 4 years ago, but these videos have reminded me how nerve racking these test are. i don't have any advice just that you will look back to your test and laugh about it, no matter the result
My driving test was way different. I was on main streets and had to parallel park only. They didn’t ask me any of those question about parking in a hill. That was all on written before the driving test. They check your merging, using signals, your stops and also very important not to follow cars to closely even when you brake behind them. You have to be able to see their tires at all times. Always found to three at any stop and look both directions twice.
Just took mine today! And passed!! Failed the first time but today I passed with perfect driving! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 god was with me and too anyone who’s nervous u got this!!
Passed my test on Labor Day. Before the test, I had practiced all driving skills with my instructor. However, my biggest adversaries were parallel and reverse parking. I found this video and made sure to watch to watch different methods for parking. Parallel was easy to remember, but reverse parking was tough af. For the reverse parking, I studied the perpendicular and 45 degree angle methods. They helped a ton. On the day of the test, I arrived at the driving school earlier than my test time and waited for my turn. As I waited, I watched the parking videos again to soothe my nerves. I saw a person come back in with the instructor after their test and found out they failed. Tragic. The person left and now it was my turn. Gave my permit, signed a paper and was instructed how the test was going to go. Had to answer a few questions of what a driver should do in certain scenarios like backing up, changing lanes, turns and parking. That was successful. Entered one of the vehicles provided by the school. Adjusted seat, rear view mirror and side mirrors. Car was already turned on. Went into drive mode. Turned around the parking lot and was told to back up. Then, parallel parking and reverse parking. For parallel, I nearly messed up and hit the cone. I remembered this video. I adjusted myself again and did it perfectly! Reverse parking was good too. I passed the first section. Next was just general driving. Stop signs, left and right turns, checking blind spots, changing lanes and adjusting to the required speed limit. Went back to where we started and finished the test. I thought I failed because I made some mistakes. But to my surprise I passed. Passed both knowledge and road tests in my first try. As someone who has been diagnosed with social anxiety and depression I never thought I'd be driving. Growing up I always feared driving because I always thought someday I'll endanger not only myself but others on the road. It's finally over. To anyone reading this. You can do it. I believe in you, but you have to believe in yourself too. As my instructor said "You are in control." It doesn't matter how old you are anyone can drive. Practice, practice and practice. Use your turn signals, look at your blind spots, mirrors and change lanes slowly. Eat and sleep well. The internet is full of helpful resources for driving. If you didn't pass, it's not the end of the world. Dust yourself off and try again as Aaliyah said. Focus on your weak spots. Don't compare yourself to others. This is your story. Remember, you just learnt how to pass the test. Once you get your license. You learn how to drive for real. Good luck future test takers! EDIT: Backup cameras are a blessing. P.S. When you get your full license buy a dashcam. It can save you so much money in the event of a car accident that wasn't your fault. Just show the video footage as evidence to your insurance company and you'll win.
I've had my license for almost a month now. Like you I have suffered from depression (thankfully not anymore) and social anxiety, so it was a huge relief to pass. Good on you for getting your license and best of luck on the road!
Social anxiety is kinda manageable, but for depression, unless you have gone through a very difficult situation like death of someone close, or bankruptcy I do not comprehend how these kids have "depression" because they are having trouble with their math homework. That whole concept just seems silly.
It is a bummer the dude failed, which is unfortunate because if he didn't hit the cone, he would have passed. As much as some of the examiners can be technical at times, this lady was fair by being assertive yet calm, which is all a driver can ask for during the road test. I know the small stuff can be the most frustrating, but it can be our best teachers by helping us not to make the same mistakes in the future. God Bless.
Reason for the failure is, during backing, student atarted turning the steering wheel bit early. During reverse, wait at least till the shoulder align with second cone before turnin. That way, it won't hit at all.
When backing out of a parking space you always have to back out straight for a lil more then half your cars length AT LEAST Best way to tell when to start turning your wheel is when your mirrors pass the white lines
I just Passed 🎉 6/9/23 in Michigan. True story I'm 47 and just bounced back from a suspended license. I was doing my Parallel parking I hit the cone. I instantly put my car in park and took my seatbelt off. Very frustrated I said I failed. My Examiner cooly says who said you failed ? Put your seatbelt back on. Remember I told you the car doesn't have to be straight just in the spot. I looked out my window and saw I was completely in the spot. I pulled out she got in and off to the road portion where I did good. I had forgotten we can hit a cone it's a deduction. If you knock it over or not completely in the spot its a automatic fail. 😊😊 So glad to have my freedom back. So glad the Road test is in my past . All those on the path to your freedom. You got this.....😊
I passed 3 days ago! I practiced twice a week for a month. What helped me other than actual practice is watching videos of actual tests like this video and acting that I’m the driver. Also I watched several driving tips for beginners. Hope you all pass too on your first try!!🎉
Forget my road test, I was a nervous, trembling wreck on my first day of supervised driving in segment 1 of driver's ed! I had absolutely no experience behind the wheel and the mere thought of going out on the road was so terrifying that I sometimes couldn't even think straight. That was back in January of 2011. Now, here I am 11.5 years and TWO road tests later (regular and commercial) as a class-A CDL driver and it's all second nature to me now. I look back and am amazed at how far I've come. That said, here are some of the best pieces of advice I can offer (along with what was said in the video): - Prepare and practice. Get someone experienced and trustworthy to help you with everything from pre-trip checks to parking to driving. This in and of itself will go a long way in reducing your anxiety since you'll have a much better handle on what you're doing. - Go as slow as you need to. Remember, it's not a race. Except for certain parts of the driving portion, you will pretty much NEVER fail for going too slow, especially during parking. - Ask questions. You won't be judged or mocked at all for needing extra clarification on ANY instruction. - You don't need to be perfect. While there are certain auto-fails to watch out for and be familiar with (as seen here), many errors won't affect the final result if kept to a minimum. The best way to do that? Don't let any one minor error discourage you and cause you to make more mistakes. - Above all: BREATHE! You're NOT alone in your worries and nervousness. Hopefully, your examiner will be someone calm, friendly, and professional. With their reassurance, you will survive if you just keep a level head (though even if they aren't, just remember everything else and you'll be okay). Best of luck to everyone! You got this!👍 Edit: Thanks for the likes, I hope everyone is doing well with their tests. After watching a handful more of these videos and reading through the comments, there's something else that I want to throw out there as a general fyi: testing at a local DMV is not the only option. There are a handful of third-party testing sites you can test at as well. Obviously, I can't speak for everyone, but based on what I've heard from others as well as my own experience with third-party testers (from both of my aforementioned tests), they are generally much calmer and more lenient about your mistakes. I'm not saying that you shouldn't test at the DMV, but I just want everyone to know that there are other options open as well.
i take my test on the 24th 😭 im so stressed out since ive been in the passenger seat during an accident where the car i was in was almost totaled. my anxiety is gonna get the best of me ☹️
My drive exam today, November 1 a DMV Florida. I keep watching this video so I avoid the mistakes. Hopefully I will pass. Update: i pass with 0 mistakes. Please guys dont feel nervous you will got your license if you comfortable
I pass my test the other day don’t have to deal with the anxiety anymore lol. Good luck to everyone else always prepare . Take classes or practice on your own . Def worth it
That sucks. There are people who’ve had their license for decades but if they had to retake the written or rode test today, they would completely fail!
Bruh, if you're parking in between two cars, always reverse straight before turning the wheel. He would've caused a accident if this was real life. This is just logic and common sense.
Tell me about it, this guy just did a through park and expected to get out without hitting a cone while ur wheel was nor straight, like how stupid can you be? Im sorry, but this is not even a skill, o just dont get this guy's thought process.
passed my test a week ago. the instructor was very easy with me and just let me drive normally. let me park anywhere too. as long as youre comfortable and ready, you can easily pass
She is so much nicer than the lady I had.. she was rushing me the whole time, barely talked, and gave me a stern look the whole time, made me feel like everything I did was wrong
Same for me today 😢!!I failed today in Massachusetts! This man all he did was talking shit saying he’s too young to die , he’s this and he’s that just to Intimidating me!! If you’re in Massachusetts, please don’t take your test at Braintree! There’s a rude fat instructor man who knows danm well how to make you fail your test ! Do not take your test there!! It’s unfair to talk that much while giving orders to someone who’s driving!! Wishing everyone good luck🙏🏽
Jus passed, failed both parralel parking and backing around a corner. Few tips - Make sure to stay atmost 3 miles below speed limit, once over it is instant fail. Then just SMOG every turn and park and you should pass. Also let cars that may seem far away go first if you are pulling out of a driveway, not worth the risk of demerit
My driving instructor taught me to not turn the wheel while backing out of a parking space until you clear it. The Student driver is turning the wheel while backing out which is not good.
I think maybe she confused him when she said that to him she probably meant for him to do that when he backs out first then turn the wheel either way she set him up for failure

I took my Swedish license around 13 years ago and when I took my American license almost 2 years ago, it was night and day in comparison. Passed all of the 20 questions, was out driving for roughly 10 min within the same block, and headed back. Passed it with closed eyes. The Swedish test is 65 questions in total, 52 to pass. 1 hour driving which includes exterior check of all lights, brake, hand-brake, you name it. All roads from country, city, highway, interstate, several parking lots, housing communities where its like 20 mph tops. One little mistake such as not being in the center of the lane, you'll fail. Forgot to look in one of the mirrors while driving, fail. Took my Swedish Taxi license as well. Lean on some things but harsher on other things. For those that are unaware. Roughly 70% - 80% of Europe knows how to drive a manual/stick shift. If you take your license in Europe with an Automatic, you will be forced to only drive Automatic since you're not permitted to drive with a manual, even if you can operate it, like how it is here in America.
I'm pretty sure the UK driving test itself is a similar standard to other European countries. It's driving around a route in a town/city with other traffic and demonstrating some manoeuvres. You can have a certain amount of minor errors (like not using mirrors enough) per category, a total of 15 minor errors across all categories and no serious errors (doing something potentially dangerous). I'm from Ireland, and the only thing that's really different for the Irish system is that you have to do at least 12 lessons logged by your instructor before the test - there are no minimum lesson requirements in the UK, which is slightly unusual for Europe. I imagine a bigger reason for requiring lessons before the test would be to reduce the burden on testing centres though - more fails means more tests. Even the "harder" US driving tests seem ridiculously easy compared to the UK and Ireland. Also, forgot to mention, the examiner won't give you any advice during the British or Irish driving test. They'll only give directions and tell you when to demonstrate a manoeuvre, and any further intervention is a fail.
Well, I think what he messed up on was turning too early while backing up. You should go straight back & then start to turn after you pretty much pass the white lines.
I remember I failed parallel parking the first time when I was 17. I hit a cone just like this guy. Thank god I never have to do that again so nerve racking
He hit the cone because as he was leaving the spot he was turning you don’t turn the wheel until your out of the spot a stupid mistake but he learned from it im sure and he was driving in a big vehicle which I’m sure didn’t make it any easier
I took my test yesterday and I passed I prayed before to make sure God was with us in the car to help me pass. I failed my first time I prayed then 2. But know if you fail God is testing you and you should never give up. He never gives you more than you can handle. He only gives you things to learn off of and become better. I definitely needed to fail my first one to learn and get where I am today. I WISH YOU ALL LUCK AND YOU CAN DO IT I PROMISE!💛
This may be frowned upon by some people but you should definitely take the opportunity to learn how to drive as a kid with your parents. I learned how to drive at a young age with help of my dad. It took away the nervousness from the road exam and passed with only 2 minor deductions (letting the steering wheel slide on my palms after a turn, and a tad bit of over acceleration after a stop). Good luck everyone!
To all you brave souls out there, you got this. I remember when I was going to take my exam, I was scared shitless but I had faith in my abilities and was able to pass with no mistakes at all.
my test is july 15th praying i pass so nervous edit: I PASSED super easy no parallel parking, no reverse parking, no 3 point turn. 1 lane change which was just signaling to the right turn lane and aside from that just like 5 turns at stop signs :)
I passed my test first try but i had trouble with using signals and following some minor rules of the road but my control of the vehicle was enough to pass me since they made my park reverse and parallel. Which I've never struggled with since i started learning how to drive but i am absolutely trash when it comes to remembering how stop sign work of course now now but they told me to review that a little bit and passed me under a promise to review my license manual . I was driving extremely defensive throughout that whole test and still do to this day.
The same mistake he made is where I failed the first time lol I had a truck when I was taking the test and I ran the cone over bc my vehicle was too big I went a month later with a smaller vehicle and passed with flying colors the size of the vehicle really does matter when doing this because of the way the put the cones for you to park in
When I did my test, I did well a little too well. So two things he jotted me down for was my first wide right turn and parking brake for downhill parking. I forgot to do those two. I should’ve failed as I went over the speed limit twice but he didn’t notice I was over. I noticed and thought I surely failed right away so I slowed down in a way you couldn’t tell I was braking just let off the acceleration. We get back he asks me to park and tells me I past. During this test tho I showed well awareness of my surroundings as it was school dismissal time. We drove by lots of schools that had lots of children walking around. You gotta show awareness of all pedestrians if you don’t want to hit anyone. One thing I did good was proper usage of braking and acceleration. You’re not going really hard on the pedals. Showing real control of the vehicle. If you’re good at gaming and wanna drive a car. I think it’s like a game where you’re tryna master the game and complete it. You can take the same analogy and apply it to driving where you’re trying to master the controls. He told me I past with only 10 points. However that works
@@AsgardsValkyrie My daughter went to Elgin Ilinois, instructor was very nice. My daughter has anxiety too. While I was waiting for her I saw all 4 of the instructors taking people out, they all seemed to be friendly
Lmfaooo i failed this test 3 times, ive had a driving permit for 4 years now.... Lol i drive every single day, never been pulled over once in all my years.
Took my test 3 days ago and passed with flying colors. After watching this video about a week ago it caught my curiosity to know if I would fail my test if I tapped a cone by accident (thankfully I didn't anyways). My driving instructor told me that it's only one point for hitting a cone. On that note I think that the instructors that fail you for hitting a stupid cone are too harsh on new drivers. My instructor was as down to earth as can be and told me that his only concern was that while I was driving through a neighborhood that we went through I accidentally took a corner a little too fast, and that he wants me to use a bit more left to right eye movement while driving. Otherwise he said I'm a great driver and passed really easily. (Also for the record I took my test on only 4 hours of sleep lol) And for those getting ready to take their tests soon, good luck you've got this! My test anxiety was horrible and I passed, you can too 😉😁
I took my behind the wheel test on Monday I passed thanks to these videos they helped me with my anxiety! I only missed one point and also one point on the written! No joke I didn’t even get that far in the handbook
I just failed mine yesterday. I passed a red light. Not once did it in any of my lessons. I was doing much better before, and my skills improved quite a lot. But that day I f*k’d up so badly.
@@Crazycooco @gisselcalle thank you so much for the words of encouragement. It was pretty demoralizing, especially since I ended up carelessly making a terrible mistake which I knew pretty much my whole life to never do. I ought to never make such mistake, again.
Jesus I passed years ago and still enjoy watching these. 12/20/2017 I wasn’t as nervous I think I scored 27/32 and I was happy af best bday gift by far
My test is in like 2 hours or so and I’m so nervous yall. I hope I pass🥲🙏🏼 EDIT: I passed :) it was easier than I expected. Come in confident and don’t overthink
I leaned parallel parking on the street, and when I took the driver's test at the MVA, i failed as they used poles in place of real cars which threw me off
Took mine yesterday in Beltsville and passed .. just remain calm apply what you learned/know and ask you examiner to repeat if you need to…oh and you get two chances to drive forward and align yourself when doing the reverse part of the test so take your time
Idk why would he think having his wheel turned from the very start of backing out of a parking space. He should’ve back up straight until it was safe to maneuver the vehicle to go in the direction he was instructed to go.
Just passed my test yesterday. I was seriously 🤏 this close to hitting a garbage can while parking in the DMV alley but I missed it and passed whoop whoop! TBF I don’t know if that’s an instant fail where I live but still, freaky.
@@TheHavice I didn’t pass because I made one critical error. I did well in everything and we didn’t get on the highway. Towards the end I mistaken a two way stop intersection with a four way stop intersection and I drove so the instructor had to yell stop. Everything else was good.
they actually make you drive around cones? I took my test and all i had to do was be very safe driving around 3 blocks or so. Made turns and paralleled parked. That's it.
All I had to do was drive up a road, stop at 2 red lights, made 2 left hand turns and a right hand turn to get back on the main road and went back to the DMV. No parallel parking at all

I passed yesterday first try and you really gotta chill out while taking the test. If you know you’re a good driver/good parker, then you will do great and pass. But if you’re doubting yourself on test day - it makes it easier to fail.

AND I PASSED🙌🙌🙌
(At the end he told me I could’ve been a little bit closer to the curb and to look over my shoulder more when backing. But I still passed and I’m so happy.)
I’ve never took drivers lessons, my mom is not the best driver in the world, and I have the anxiety of a freaking deer so trust me if I can do it you can do it!
Good luck! @@jacobtorres6470 OMG congratulations!!! I knew you would :) 🙌🙌
I passed my test and got my license. The only hard part is the nervousness that takes over. Once you get past it it's not too bad.
You're not training anymore, you're the driver here."
At this point I knew this guy was having a bad day, from his tone and annoyed responses.

It’s different for each state
Just took mine today!
@@AW-xc1xc It's nice to know someone out there can relate to me. Thank you for this.
Great job!
You know what's scary to me getting a mean instructor is my worst fear about this test 😨
That said, here are some of the best pieces of advice I can offer (along with what was said in the video):
- Prepare and practice.
You got this!👍
Edit: Thanks for the likes, I hope everyone is doing well with their tests.

Just PASSED 6/9/23 🎉🎉 .. At age 47 it feels good to have my license back. No more unpaid traffic tickets for me😂😂😂.
Driving tests are so easy in the US compared to the ones we have in Europe (and I'm not talking about UK, that's way easier too).
I hit one of them backing out. Now I gotta go back in 2 weeks. That awkward pause though
Awh dang it’s alright. Best of luck next time! I’m sure you’ll do great! I passed mine about a month ago, almost did the same thing lol
U can lose points for letting the wheel slide on ur hands???? Glad i found this comment before i take it latwr
Yeah my mom won’t let me drive her car so I think that won’t happen
To all you brave souls out there, you got this. I remember when I was going to take my exam, I was scared shitless but I had faith in my abilities and was able to pass with no mistakes at all.
If I scream ruh roh raggy when I hit something does it deduct bad boy points?
Yes it does, and no Scooby snacks for you
Just passed mine today in Miami!
Very stoked!
Best of luck to those about to take theirs!
Take mine in the morning 😣 I hope i pass
@@kingdarius7003 you will! It's all in the mind
Way to GO!!!
my test is july 15th praying i pass so nervous
edit: I PASSED super easy no parallel parking, no reverse parking, no 3 point turn. 1 lane change which was just signaling to the right turn lane and aside from that just like 5 turns at stop signs :)
Mine is tommorow bro
@@Adens8080 let me know if you pass!!!
@@jack-zq2ge I will
good luck to you both!!
Hope u get it . Mines today.
Passed a few days ago, way easier than you think, I was so stressed out beforehand, but now I can watch these videos and relax
just passed mine today! don’t stress yourself out it’s not as hard as you think it is!
Thanks Jace, I’ll think about this while I prepare for mine 😈
I passed my test first try but i had trouble with using signals and following some minor rules of the road but my control of the vehicle was enough to pass me since they made my park reverse and parallel. Which I've never struggled with since i started learning how to drive but i am absolutely trash when it comes to remembering how stop sign work of course now now but they told me to review that a little bit and passed me under a promise to review my license manual . I was driving extremely defensive throughout that whole test and still do to this day.
Congrats!!
I have a test tomorrow… I literally feel like dying and I’m scared straight cause I can’t do a 90 degree back in. This is actually painful
how did it go?
@@williamfournier176 I have it in an hour! I’ll update you
I'm rooting for you.
Hope you passed!
@@williamfournier176 Update, I passed!
Watched these videos before getting my license. Got it first try and just decided to watch one again with no stress. Feels good 🏎
Great job!
I’ve had my license for like 7 months why am I still getting these recommended
The same mistake he made is where I failed the first time lol I had a truck when I was taking the test and I ran the cone over bc my vehicle was too big I went a month later with a smaller vehicle and passed with flying colors the size of the vehicle really does matter when doing this because of the way the put the cones for you to park in
If you fail your road test it's not the end of the world, just keep trying and don't give up.
Yep I felt like that on my first time.
I’d chilling watching these videos after I passed a month ago ☺️
Same here, i did mine last Saturday and passed 🙌🏾
@ congrats 🙏🏿💪🏾💯
@ Thank you & same to you 🙌🏾
so happy my drivers test was like 2 minutes long and just a drive around the town square then back to dmv
What a nice instructor. I am in my 50s and watching this for my daughter, but in Illinois Chicagoland a lot of the instructors were jerks
I have very bad anxiety and my biggest fear rn is doing the road test😭 a lot of it is about the instructor- but im hyping myself up to finally do it😭
@@AsgardsValkyrie My daughter went to Elgin Ilinois, instructor was very nice. My daughter has anxiety too. While I was waiting for her I saw all 4 of the instructors taking people out, they all seemed to be friendly
Passed my drivers test a week ago! I’m so happy :)
Here’s a tip: while approaching a stop sign, wait Atleast 5 seconds at the sign before proceeding!
I like how everyone’s getting this video and are about to take the test I got a 96 on mine good luck out there everyone.
Lmfaooo i failed this test 3 times, ive had a driving permit for 4 years now.... Lol i drive every single day, never been pulled over once in all my years.
The test is so dumb
But once u do get pulled over you're fucked and imagine not having a real driver license lmao
I have to laugh, everyone's driving careful with the instructor in the vehicle, but once license are given , drive wild 😏
My test anxiety was horrible and I passed, you can too 😉😁
Taking the test in a van is bold but you gotta do what you gotta do.
Im not sure when I get mine, but do you think a large vehicle like a VW atlas se is fine?

i will come back with an update! driving exam in 32mins! update: I PASSSED
how do u back up in between cones. i can back into driveway but im having trouble with tight parking spots.
I just failed mine yesterday. I passed a red light. Not once did it in any of my lessons. I was doing much better before, and my skills improved quite a lot. But that day I f*k’d up so badly.
don't worry, you will definitely pass your next test!!
You got this! I believe in you. Sometimes in my lessons I get anxious and go past a stop sign 👁️👄👁️
@@Crazycooco @gisselcalle thank you so much for the words of encouragement.

Same I have mine in 3 days know all the knowledge stuff and how to drive but to parallel park is what scares me that I might fail any tips
I leaned parallel parking on the street, and when I took the driver's test at the MVA, i failed as they used poles in place of real cars which threw me off
Made the same mistake I just failed my test today.
Because he wasn’t next to any parked vehicles so it’s fine
Great tip - think of the cones as parked vehicles. If you hit a cone, you hit a vehicle... Fail...
Just passed my test yesterday. I was seriously 🤏 this close to hitting a garbage can while parking in the DMV alley but I missed it and passed whoop whoop! TBF I don’t know if that’s an instant fail where I live but still, freaky.
I have a test tomorrow and I am feeling very stressed about the parallel parking pray for me.
Omg same I'ma go do mine Friday we got this
How did it go?
@@TheHavice I didn’t pass because I made one critical error. I did well in everything and we didn’t get on the highway. Towards the end I mistaken a two way stop intersection with a four way stop intersection and I drove so the instructor had to yell stop. Everything else was good.
Just passed mine today ..the freedom it comes with is awesome and it felt really good to ace my test after seeing two people fail before me...
they actually make you drive around cones? I took my test and all i had to do was be very safe driving around 3 blocks or so. Made turns and paralleled parked. That's it.
All I had to do was drive up a road, stop at 2 red lights, made 2 left hand turns and a right hand turn to get back on the main road and went back to the DMV. No parallel parking at all
