So how do you feel about the new time setting for the Alien Earth TV show? Please let me know as always my dudes. Also, many thanks to @ambientcontrol for providing me with the awesome Alien holding my logo image at the start of the video. Please check out his Alien Ambient videos here: www.youtube.com/@ambientcontrol His wonderful visuals and soundscapes are perfect for setting the mood when you're feeling nostalgic 👍👍
Wow, thank you so much, my friend! The picture fit's perfect.😊It’s really awesome how you mentioned and linked me in your video, even with my logo, haha so cool. I truly appreciate it! Great Video! I’m amazed every time at how you gather all this information and pair it with the perfect images. That’s an art in itself. Respect for that! As for the new timeline for the Alien Earth TV show, I’m really curious to see how they’ll handle it. I think it’s exciting that they’re trying to explore new directions, and I hope they stay true to the spirit of the Alien franchise. Thanks again for your support and for thinking of me! 🚀
@ambientcontrol np friend 👍. The image you made fits nicely, especially as you made the neon text bright yellow, the perfect fit. Thanks again buddy. Yeah, I just sit for hours thinking/researching and write it all down. Once I record it, I throw it in Davinci and just listen to what I said and then either clip images or segments from films that feels fitting. It's quite straightforward really but the first few times gave me a headache and I needed a nap 🤣🤣🤣
I think it's a fine idea to place this close to the 1979 movie. There were two other moons besides LV-426. Could be interesting to see some other organizations land on the other moons. I wouldn't mind seeing organizations other than Weyland-Yutani. Some spy thriller stuff with secret corpo wars wouldn't be unwelcome.
@@Grogeous_Maximus Highly trained and cyber augmented assassins going after high priority targets but end up encountering an escaped Xeno 👍 Otherwise, corporate espionage and as you say, the spy thriller stuff meets the horrors of the Alien universe would be a welcome change. If it has a sophisticated style to it and a riveting story, it could be a thrilling experience. Fargo certainly was a highly engaging show, Noah Hawley's previous show.
You mentioned Event Horizon. I think that was an underrated & under appreciated, movie. Can’t wait to see what this new Alien series brings to the table.
@@cjm753bc8 I remember rewinding and pausing the VHS from blockbusters so I could see all the gory frames from the montage of violence scene. It helped open my mind 🤣

David did not create the Xenos. Remember, David’s fun science experiments came about between Prometheus and Covenant (and during Covenant.) Imagery of the Xeno is found near the black goo containers in Prometheus before things start getting out of hand for the crew. David only engineered his own Xenos. Personally, I also doubt the Juggernaut from Alien hadn’t crashed well before David’s interests or experiments. In summery, David created his own variety of Xenos, not the entire species we all know and love getting scared by.
Well I am only 2.4 thousand views late 😊. Oh how I love these Alien videos. I can't wait and like you have high hopes and expectations for Alien Earth. I like the idea of a slow burn series taking place over a 2 year period in several seasons would be satisfying. It would be great to get unexpected cameos, i.e. Michael Fassbender in the show. But, quality writing is primary. On a side note, my 4K Alien Romulus release is on the way!! Really want to dive back into this movie. Great stuff as always buddy!!!
@@michaelg.1786 glad to have you here buddy, as always. If we don't see Fassbender in the show then it's starting to sound likely that Ridley will be continuing with his third film by the sounds of it. Despite how I felt about Covenant, I'd be excited to finish his story 👍
Beautiful leading questions, hypothese and dissection. Much applaud the deep investigations and thorough examination of all the details we have so far! Cleverly and beautifully framed in such a way that is both informative and entertaining. I'm glad you put up the original Space Jocky size and dimensions comparisons. This has always been a sore point for me in so far as the premise in the Prometheus and Covenant prequels attempting to creat a race of humanoid 'Engineers' to explain the alien piloting that crashed space ship first seen in 1979. A Big flaw that the fans either ignored, totally missed, or blindly accepted as 'canon' just because it came out from ScottFree productions. It should have been left alone! The biggest mystery in the Alien Universe, that remains untouched to this very day, is that of the origina and nature of the Space Derelict /Juggenaut and its presence on LV426. The 'real' star of the movie was the space jocky, while the Xenomorph to my mind is basically a 'pest' or an infestation/infection of the Biomecanoid Space Craft & its Pilot. Clearly a non-humanoid creature and an alien in the truest sense of the word. I do hope they do not attempt to explain this mystery as in doing so they would most certainbly ruin the most briliant and genius bit of Sci Fi of its time. Part of the reason may also be that we have not had any talent, since Dan O'Banon et al, sufficiently brilliant to do this story justice. I would happily follow the adventures of the proposed new TV series, so long as they do not ruin the magic and mystery of the original premise in Alien & Aliens.
Thank you buddy. Yes, I replied to another comment about how Ridley must have known that people would notice to immense size difference and therefore, did he purposefully create another species that may have reverse engineered this ancient technology? The pilots chamber in Prometheus overall is must smaller than that of the derelict. The chair, suit and navigational canon thing. It all feels repurposed. Surely he would not have been so lazy to allow such a retcon of one of his best films???
@@ENTERTAINtheDUDE Absolutely! It would not surprise me the least, these big names once they reach the 'top' do not care as much since they made their 'mark' so to speak. There are notable exceptions. But the laziness is quite obvious - mentioned before with regards to the human origin / evolution and black goo being ripped off from 2002: A Space Odyssey, and The X-Files respectively. If the studios do not mess around with the productions, and they hire half decent professional Sci-Fi authors for the story & the script then even single concept can be enough to add a side shoot or a new story arc within the franchise. Since Alien Resurrection the quality just dipped into oblivion, imho. So if there was a different race, the 'Engineers' there was not much of backstory to flesh out this premise (except what we get from ebooks & extended content), that was very badly conceived and executed. How does this tie up with the original story on LV426? Well, by making lazy shortcuts they almost ruined the lore and the whole enigma of that marvelous story. Just for comparisons, Star Trek introduced, on weekly basis, new Sci-Fi stories and themes which included everything in about 50 minutes! And, they did not have CGI at the time. As a child that was my initial falling in love with the genre ( astronomy, the moon landing & space travel as a toddler was my thing) :D.
i like the reflection of mother earth on the xeno, gives great direction on the path of the series, especially being as we the audience know what real......... horrors await them. yeah the ideas at the end about the possible finds on the moons, it would make sense from a science or military point, to undertake trials in experimental stages and compartmentalize onto different moons......perfect really, would be great to get more lore about the real what's, hows whys & were's.
@@kaltonian exactly my thoughts. They would have utilised those three moons for parallel operations possibly. For me, seeing earth on the xenomorph reflection had the same effect as astronauts describe when they realise how vulnerable we are on this defenceless rock, in the middle of space.
I can't wait to see Alien Earth 🌎 but... they should have finished off the story 1st with the David character 🤖, The Promethous 🚀🪐- Alien Covenant 🛸🥚 & .....??? Before jumping into more different time frames of the Alien franchise. Ridley Scott needs his thinking cap on ASAP 🙏. You can't just forget the engineer race & more.
@@paulmckeon5269 I hear now that after Romulus, Ridley is making another Alien film. Also, suddenly Fassbender is announcing on social media that he wants a conclusion to David's story. It sounds like marketing to me but I'll go along with it 👍
Ridley Scott should stay right out of the series. He is a hack who has been suffering senile dementia for years. The space jockey was not an "engineer".
I like your theory. Going back to LV223 would also allow the reintroduction of the Deacon, a variation of this perfect organism that deserves more air time
The best thing to me about the speculation of this occuring before Pro.etheus was it gave them an out on that (imo) horrible story beat from Covenant that David created the xenomorph. Now unfortunately (again, imo), that's staus on the table.
@@Sammael757 oh I get that but Hawley's in an interview and I know I spoke about this in an older vid; he expressed the desire to explore the xenomorph from an evolutionary narrative. All I can derive from this is that he'll account for their history in the galaxy rather than the hubris of humanities creation via David. 🤞🤞🤞🤞
Thanks very much. I should really. The first film was incredibly special, and the trailer for the next is, damm well, how trailers should be, mysterious and intriguing! I don't know much about it right now but I'll do my research, don't worry XD
I hope they retcon it so the Engineers on LV-223 simply found some Space Jockey ships, repurposed them, and used the fossilized biomechanical corpses of the pilots as suits. They also took the cargo of Ovomorphs and extracted the black goo from the facehuggers to put them in urns. The Engineers had already been extracting black goo from facehuggers for thousands of years. The derelict ship on LV-426 would be completely untouched since the its crash.
I sort of love this idea. It helps keep the mystery of the 22ft space jockey and where it came from, right? Ridley must have known people were going to notice the immense size difference of the engineers to that of the original space jockey. Maybe he intended to create a separate species in the engineers...
Horrible idea and you must not understand how Romulus connected the old movies with Prometheus the Prometheus project and black goo are an important part of the story now The engineers weren't fleshed out as much as they needed to be but they will why would they retcon Engineers If you read the comics and know what you're talking about Space Jockeys are older versions of Engineers You're making theories but not even a real fan Urns???? The engines collect black goo??? I h8 your theory
@@ashleybanks-wm4cg You could look up the original story (StarBeast 1977-1979 by Dan O'Banon et al) which will give you a much deeper understanding of the Alien premise. The story & script in the original Alien was a collaborative effort - many exceptionally talented people (authors) were invloved and was also fleshed out by the genius Giger (design of Alien and ships). The so-called engineers and black goo were introduced later as a cheap & lazy way to steer away from the original story arc. Human origins and evloution (i.e. transhumanism) and the quasi-mythological, quasi-theological mumbo jumbo, including the black goo were an unashamed RIP OFF from 2001: A Space Odyssey, and The X-Files respectively. These later plots (in Prometheus and Covenant) had no real link to the original Alien and if it was a new side branch then it was done in the most stupid, unimaginative, bland way possible and in summary has very little content or value as far as Science Fiction - as a genre goes. The whole idea that David created the Biomechanical Xenomorph is utterly stupid as that technology was millions of years ahead of us (found on the LV246 crashed alien Derelict). David could reverse engineer the Black Goo in a cave by manipulating insects? You need state of the art genetic engineering labs that would cost $ billions and teams of experts! At most he could possibly introduce a new strain of a bacteria or a slime mold, but to actually make a hybrid overmorph or anything resembling the origional zenomorph eggs is beyond stupid. But then I accept that I have for the past 40 + years have been in science & technology and was reared on the Sci-Fi giants from the late 50s to late 90s, when unfortunately thereafter very little of quality seem to emerge.
Isn’t Ridley Scott involved in this ? I can’t imagine he would be happy for his engineers thing to be fiddled around with. I suspect all the black goo stuff is here to stay.
I still don't believe the derelict crash landed, the egg chamber underneath the ship would have been too much of a coincidence, and the walls of the chamber is also seems to be made by engineer tech and not xeno resin. Here what i think happened: The derelict was a holding facility for xeno eggs for black goo harvest, the space jockey had an accident and tried to call for help but knowing it was too late set a warning instead. The newly born xeno sensed the eggs below made a hole to join them. Thousands of Years later space truckers discover the hidden gifts inside. The bigger mystery is where did that Xeno go after? it's a big world it might have died or gotten lost or did it sneak aboard another engineer ship only to land on Lv223?
Yeah, the being certainly was chest bursted while still in the chair but I have no idea if the warning was automated or not. The ships AI might have detected a threat, or perhaps as you say, he might have broadcasted that signal. Imagine how massive this particular xeno would have been though? A being that was roughly 22ft tall, probably unrelated to the eggs, also as you say, otherwise the eggs would have been the size of a van haha! Interesting stuff, indeed.
@ENTERTAINtheDUDE the signal might have been automatic as think Dallas and Kane turned the signal off, but I do know that ship that infected the Sevastopol followed that same signal.
@andrewdunn8259 @andrewdunn8259 i did some research in my Ripley theory vid a few weeks back about the Anesadora vessel in Isolation and it was them that disabled the signal. I remember doing it in the game. If correct then that signal had been broadcasting for 15 years plus years after Alien and possibly thousands of years prior. Damm, Alien is fun to discuss haha!
@@ssaunders1122 haha! If I stated they knew as factual, I'll get heavily criticised but between you and me, and perhaps many more; yeah, they knew... If those shuttles could travel faster than light then it leaves many years for the company to get about 🤔
I hope they show that all David did was just try to copy the xenos. It would be cool to eventually get a scene with something like Big Chap, or an even bigger Chap birthed from an engineer, tear David's creations to shreds so that arrogant android can realize his failures. That would be a better ending for David, and it would keep the aliens, actually alien, not the product of androids that humans created, who were created by big humans called "engineers" rather than the truly alien original conception of the Jockey as an elephantine being.
@@ex0gen I know that Hawley, the shows creater, has expressed an interest in exploring the xenomorphs roots in evolution. I kind of stated that he'll be ignoring the prequels for the most part. I see this as good news for those that aren't a fan of David's interference in their lifecycle.
im hoping we get an actual explanation how WY knew about the Xenos already! I asked this question on reddit and I got the David answer which really infuriates me but someone else said it was most likely the signal and that they had fully deciphered it! I heard from Mr H reviews live archive videos along with guys from midnights edge and he says that there are hints and that "if you know where to look, youll get it" but probably didnt end up in the final cut cause I cant see any hints at all in Romulus!
Don't know how they already knew about the signal before the nostromo, but for Romulus they probably got their info from the Sevastopol Station and sent out some drone ships to locations to investigate. Come to think of it the nostromo went off course to investigate by orders given to Mother. so it might have been another cargo ship that discovered the signal but didn't have orders to wake the crew on route so recorded data for analysis. All just a theory though.
I would have to assume that the company sent a followup crew sometime after the Prometheus mission, perhaps? I hope they aren't going to pick apart the OG film too much to the point it greatly changes how we perceive 1979's Alien, but I can understand it if they find a nice way to tie Alien Earth in.
Much props to the channels that have actually been there from the start and did so much of the heavy lifting that paved the way for these newcomers to slide into the algo. Y’all know what’s what ;)
@@danielpeckham5520 realistically, it'll probably be too expensive to show this. He said it will share the retro look of Alien but we have only ever seen space ship interiors. Also, it was filmed in Thailand, so the outdoors will look exotic 👍
If it is set at all prior to the events of Alien, and humans have collected samples of xenomorphs at any stage, from any location, then the purpose of the Nostromo's detour to LV-426 is wholly negated. The end.
@@DrDoohickey Perhaps we don't know the true purpose yet. Everything has been shrouded in mystery so far, which does create one hell of an atmosphere. However, I hope they don't explain away too much to the point it has a negative impact on the franchise.
@@ENTERTAINtheDUDE I can admit to being curious, and perhaps even a little bit hopeful, but I'm not optimistic given their track record. While Romulus may have offered a small measure of redemption, it is far from the quality of the first two films. To your point about purpose and mystery, we already know something fundamental about this plot of this series. There is a Xenomorph presence on Earth. That being so, Ash's charge to retrieve specimens at any cost lacks sensible foundation.
@DrDoohickey yeah, good point with Ash. I just don't know how they are going to introduce and explain these earlier plots. As a big Alien fan, all I can do is pray Noah Hawley gives the franchise the respect it deserves. You can bet your boots I'll review each episode honestly when it arrives and harshly if it lets us down 👍
If I might be so bold, I'd like to offer a few opinions (and facts) about the Alien story (and I purposely avoid the word ''franchise''). The continuing story of the android David has no place in the wider Alien story. I have read convincing accounts about Sir Ridley Scott where he considered the problem (or otherwise) of Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) to be of paramount importance, hence Blade Runner, Ash and MU-TH-UR in Alien, David in Prometheus and Alien: Covenant. He didn't say as much, this is inferred. IMHO he is certainly entitled to his opinion but the Alien universe is not the place to explore it. The possibility that David created the Xenomorph as we know it from Alien is insulting and completely undermines the Cosmic Horror aspect of the original film, as does the reduction of the Space Jockey to a giant albino humanoid in a bio-suit. It is a slap in the face to fans of the original movie. Sir Ridley needs to keep away from Alien from now onwards. If he wants to investigate A.I. let him do it elsewhere. I thought Alien Romulus did a pretty good job of restoring the Alien story and yes, I appreciate the final creature paid some homage to Prometheus, but that particular aspect died almost as soon as it was introduced. If Alien Earth is to also get us back on track and restore the faith, it needs to slot itself into the timeline of Alien (i.e. the Nostromo etc), Weyland-Yutani's nefariousness and also scare the existential shit out of us. Maybe too much of a tall order but I can dream 🙂 My point being, Alien was Cosmic Horror, it has not been for a long time. That needs to be restored. Now I know many people may not agree with me, they like Prometheus etc, but I'm sure there are others who do agree and want the Alien story to be dragged out of the mire. Thank you for reading and apologies for another wall of text - I WOULD makes videos but I'm not pretty enough.
Thanks very much for your input, buddy. I slightly disagree regarding AI, but only in terms of finding middle ground between Alien and Ridley's prequels. I agree that if that aspect is allowed to continue, then it may as well be some documentary about Elon Musk or whatever, and it WILL become detrimental to Alien, as you say. I think Blade Runner took us as far as we needed to go with the enigma of AI and its impact on humanity without oversaturating the topic. Therefore, maybe some middle ground for Alien, right? I also hope for some epic thrills for the series, and I'm wholeheartedly in agreement that the show should never forget why it is able to exist and pay respect to the beast in the best way possible: Good writing and a solid idea of where the story is headed before they even begin. Hawley has talked about the show's conclusion being at the forefront of how it was written. Thankfully, this means some cohesion for the overall story arc, unlike some shows that drift into oblivion with no direction. Time will tell but I have high hopes for this one, it feels about time we get something mature.
@@ENTERTAINtheDUDE Glad to hear Hawley has an arc in mind, he may be allowed to get to the end of it lol (assuming bad ratings doesn't get it cancelled if you know what I mean?). I remain optimistic as ever.
I was with you in saying Prometheus and covenant were terrible because nothing seemed to make sense, but that was before I watched Romulus that changed my whole outlook on those films. Perhaps I've spent too much time thinking about this but here's my theory: (Warning gets a bit dark at the end) We know engineers have the same DNA as humans as seen in Prometheus, we also know injecting a human with the black goo while pregnant we end up with some kind of human engineer hybrid. This could mean the engineers were human to begin with and probably followed the same experiment as seen in Romulus. There is something similar to the black goo in comics called Royal jelly making the concept an old one. We now know that thanks to Romulus that the black goo is harvested from facehuggers meaning that the engineers while human probably stumbled across them. we also know that the derelict had been on Lv426 for thousands of years, I believe it was a holding facility to store the eggs before harvesting. in Earth Hive an elephant type alien describes how they discovered xenomorphs and how it almost destroyed them. As for David he became obsessed with creation thanks to Wayland but being an Android can't create instead he was cloning the Xenomorphs only never have seen one. He also lacked the correct equipment but had enough genetic material making the woman he loved into the mother of he's monsters. Throughout the alien franchise we see multiple characters develop God complexes when having the slightest bit of control over the xenos. I like to think David heads in the direction of the Rage War books where we see an army of xenos controlled by Androids raining black deaths on all of humanity. If they follow this kind of story line then David's story gets very dark and disturbing such as breeding humans as food for xenos and humans, turning humans into incubators over generations of human lives, a really messed up hell that they probably wouldn't ever show on the big screen. Added: (Prometheus properly would have like very different if the studio didn't force a lower age ranking, check out a commentary on the film) My conclusion xenomorphs came long before the engineers when the universe was nothing but darkness and pain.
@@andrewdunn8259 Personally, I could go with that story up to a point but the question still remains, do we need David to be doing anything? The eggs in the Derelict ship on LV 426 had been there for for millennia, why does it need a human-created android to further the plot/story?
@ENTERTAINtheDUDE it's a bit distorted but I wonder if they did that for a reason to keep him under-wraps. I'd love them to finish what Ridley started with the prequel films. A TV show allows alot more time to expand, so I hope they do it this way rather than rush the story into a movie.
@abrimfulofasha exactly, either way, the show should give the story time to breathe that is inherently the style of TV format. I hope it's in the same mature vein as Andor, high brow and mature etc
@abrimfulofasha Gotham meets Cyberpunk or something like that. I don't get much time these days but I am half way through Out of the Shadows, so maybe I should read Earth Hive if you say it is good. I just feel that when people add the more dramatic content from the side stories to the grounded films, things get a little weird. I don't even know what percentage of Alien fans consider the extra stuff canon. Maybe it's subjective, if you like it, include it! For me, I sometimes like to discard Alien Resurrection 🤣🤣 and that is a fully licensed film lol. Maybe the best thing to do is, read the most popular additions to this universe and if I add ideas to videos, I need to add a disclaimer almost, that this is part of the additional canon and so forth. I respect you for bringing this up though, as I never truly know how people feel about the other stories.
I'm afraid they're gonna be alot of disappointed fans that haven't been paying attention. Noah Hawley has already stated in an interview that this show is not connecting or acknowledging the prequel films. He wants the mysterious origin intact ie: the perfect organism that has evolved over millions of years... not created by David or Engineers "a half hour ago". His words, not mine. He also likes the retro future of the first two films, no holograms or Apple tech as seen in Prometheus... so if you're looking for black goo or Engineer gods, just be prepared to be let down now.
@@Chris_Sherwood I remember reporting on those quotes a while ago. It was the same time it was announced the show would take place around the time of Prometheus, but then facts changed recently. @@ENTERTAINtheDUDE I liked Prometheus but wasnt bothered with him ignoring it. I think what really hurts him ignoring the prequels now is Romulus is set right in the middle of 1 & 2 and does count it as canon... so it will muddy up the continuity. But yeah, no matter what... Noah has got my support, he is a really good writer/showrunner. His work on Fargo is great.
if David created the facehugger and ALIEN (which I hated that) I wonder how this moon they go get the Aliens we know, since the goo from prometheus didn't use facehuggers and produced a deacon not a Xeno. Also all these prequels to ALIEN make me wonder why they bothered so much going to LV-423 and not just go to earth where an outbreak had happened? "ALIENS just destroyed Earth! what ever do we do? I know lets go find more so we can make them into a weapon...." makes sense
@@Corfield81 Noah Hawley has already said in interviews that he doesn't consider much of the prequels for this show and wants to explore the alien in terms of its evolution and ancient origin. This sounds very exciting to me
I wont hold my breath. I like the prequals, guilty pleasure, but I do see how crap starts to go off the rails. Romulus was an entertaining fan-fic but really we are stretching things thin...I don't believe the House of Mouse will pull this off...but with my expectations so low, means I could be surprised.
Disney... I can understand the apprehension but Noah Hawley I have confidence in. I really enjoyed his technical ability to create a riveting story in Fargo. I do implore Alien fans to watch it if you haven't already, as it might make you more optimistic for Alien Earth 👍
Romulus failed due to terrible 1-liners harking back to Aliens, too many conveniences in plot and another mutant courtesy of the black goo being the final protagonist instead of the pure form alien (or a Xeno like the Queen or Praetorian type). It took the focus off the 'alien' and 'fear' and put too much on 'threading storylines'. I mean really....the best acting was the autistic andriod....says a lot about the script for the entire film.

@@wolvesview9047 probably for the most part, you could be correct. However, being set just two years before Alien, it has to tie in somehow I would think.
If it's set in the 2090s, that also means long drama with nothing particularly interesting happening Xenomorph-wise. Of course, you could come up with some 1) archeological Xeno find 2) some space contraption falling to Earth - but these sounds a bit lame to me. Not convinced that 2120 would make it any different.
Like the trade routes we have for shipping today it's highly likely another ship pickup the derelict signal. but I don't believe they would have investigated as their on board computer would have protected them unlike the nostromo's mother that was given orders crew expendable. The year the Nostromo left earth was set in 2120, that would give enough time to change a science officer and change ship computer orders, also makes it seem like a rushed job. we also might see the original science officer of the Nostromo. If they are trying to tie everything in this could be a way to go. All just a theory.

@@Benddover2787 I think they only state in Alien 4 that earth is bad, right? I know that the film was set a couple of hundred years after Alien and we never hear in Aliens that there are problems on Earth, especially a xeno outbreak. In fact , we don't know enough about Earth at all in the films. Maybe some of the comics explore this more but in terms of those being canon is really up to the reader imo.
Putting lv223 and lv426 right next to each other In lore was a stupid idea. How the hell did a top of the line ship like promethius miss the signal from the moon ! And how did wayland industries if they sent a search team miss it as well ? I expect that to change in lore at some point. Now having a ship coming back from the outer rim with a damaged or deliberately destroyed flight log and a dead xenomorph on board would work. And don't forget David did send a message to wayland industries at the end of covenant so they do know things. But what exactly is unknown. Any wayland ship probably had protocols buried deep in mother To trigger if any unknown signal was picked up by it.
No Alien earth wont tie up davids story or conclude Covenant's story thats going to be done in Ridleys next Alien movie Alien Awakening but as David does say that the Xenomorphs will attack earth maybe Alien Earth will overlap and tie in with Alien Awakening the new film like the Marvel films did with Agents of Shield.

@@eyedestroyeverything9953 this is all the more reason why the show needs to stand on it's own feet and not try to borrow and rely on so many aspects from Alien/Aliens. I'm hoping at its core it is a decent story that works well enough without needing to be in the Alien universe, but just so happens to be so. It's really the last chance for them to get it right at this stage as I don't fully have faith in Ridley's 3rd prequel being vastly better than Prometheus and especially Covenant. @ that Is exactly what I mean. Host should account for nothing except maybe some coloration variations This idea out the xeno being as many different racial types are there are biological species. It’s absurd and stupid
@@Exile-exe I suppose the alien in Alien 3 moved differently and had interesting characteristics because it came from a cow/dog, depending on what version you watched lol. But essentially, it looked the same. In Aliens, the warrior drones had deep ridges on their dome as well as other variations but who cares, fantastic movie ;).Never liked the AvP hybrids though. I know what you mean though, as the alien is kinda sacred and should be messed with too much.
@ the dog-alien had reversed Legs which changes the physics of motion and form and is basically an entirely different xeno species. Considering the Xeno is said to be the “Perfect organism”? By this claim it should need no additions to its form and function from its birthing host. Wouldn’t you agree? Here’s a hypothetical to help cement the absurdity of this. Imagine an alien hive on a planet. And within the same hive you have a Dog-alien, and hum-alien, and a predator-alien…all portraying their differences and variation based on this absurd notion, in the same hive…and now add all the other different species that could conceivably be hosts for them on that planet… Now it’s no longer a xeno, it’s the Thing…this is all just dumb and not thought out well and really should be stripped out of canon.
@@Exile-exe Sure, I suppose people assume that the embryo inherits genes and DNA from its parents/hosts. But what you are saying is, It's structure is perfect and while growing would only use its' host as food? This way it could retain its perfection rather than mutating, evolving or inheirting traits from a multitude of parental hosts. Sounds good.
Here’s a new take… How about no films anymore. PERIOD!!!! The reason is, because there are too many whining critical people who don’t get their perfect head movie made for real. So tired of the crying 🤣

David did not create the Xenos. Remember, David’s fun science experiments came about between Prometheus and Covenant (and during Covenant.)
Imagery of the Xeno is found near the black goo containers in Prometheus before things start getting out of hand for the crew. David only engineered his own Xenos.

@@ENTERTAINtheDUDE All good man, god i hope Noah can knock this out of the park.

The Engineers had already been extracting black goo from facehuggers for thousands of years.
The derelict ship on LV-426 would be completely untouched since the its crash.
I sort of love this idea. It helps keep the mystery of the 22ft space jockey and where it came from, right?
The comics are not cannon. Only the films count. (Except for the prequels of course).
@@ashleybanks-wm4cg

@@sonderstudios6675 it's a possibility, I won't deny.
im hoping we get an actual explanation how WY knew about the Xenos already!
@@joshcoop1295 I suppose they did finally arrive back home in Resurrection 😉
Maybe too much of a tall order but I can dream 🙂
My point being, Alien was Cosmic Horror, it has not been for a long time.
Perhaps I've spent too much time thinking about this but here's my theory:
(Warning gets a bit dark at the end)
We know engineers have the same DNA as humans as seen in Prometheus, we also know injecting a human with the black goo while pregnant we end up with some kind of human engineer hybrid.
Added: (Prometheus properly would have like very different if the studio didn't force a lower age ranking, check out a commentary on the film)
My conclusion xenomorphs came long before the engineers when the universe was nothing but darkness and pain.
@@andrewdunn8259 Personally, I could go with that story up to a point but the question still remains, do we need David to be doing anything? The eggs in the Derelict ship on LV 426 had been there for for millennia, why does it need a human-created android to further the plot/story?
That voice sounds like David, especially when they say "Far away moon".

@abrimfulofasha exactly, either way, the show should give the story time to breathe that is inherently the style of TV format. I hope it's in the same mature vein as Andor, high brow and mature etc

Excuse me for my ignorance about the lore. Maybe alien earth could explain how earth ended up in that way in alien 4 or whatever the last movie with Ripley was. Where they landed on eart amd it was destroyed + they didn't want to go there

Don't get me wrong ,I loved your video n watched it fully....but if your an alien fan ( enough to make videos) then you must've read the books n things...although it won't stick to exact script of books- I imagine reading them would answer a tonne of questions...read the book Earth hive atleast- sick as hell, parents offering kids up to Queens, religions forming around xenos, what's left of the commercial world drugged up on Royal jelly from hives, music made by screaming people and xeno screeches! Brilliant . As a true fan ,I hope this ' begining of it all 'series does not disappoint 😊 .shit that was a long comment
@@sonoflamech777 yeah I get your meaning and there is lots of comics and novels I haven't read but I do believe whether you have read all of the extra stuff or not, you can still be a hard core Alien fan 😁.
I'd imagine he'll be sticking with this quote but he has to obviously connect the show to Alien at least as you cannot ignore the primary film. Either way, I'm still excited personally 👌
@@ENTERTAINtheDUDE
I liked Prometheus but wasnt bothered with him ignoring it.
This sounds very exciting to me
David did NOT do it.
@@thegood9 Agreed. He dabbled in something very ancient.
@@ENTERTAINtheDUDE bingo!
I wont hold my breath. I like the prequals, guilty pleasure, but I do see how crap starts to go off the rails.

I think the tv series will be a stand-alone and have nothing to do with the movies.
It must have some intimate connection to the events of Alien. That's only how I see it, at least. God I hope it works.
@@ENTERTAINtheDUDEit could tie into how the company knew about the derelict on lv426
All just a theory.

some kind of catastrophe, or simply years of degradation, have made Earth uninhabitable or at least very unpleasant. Maybe this show is why earth is like that and wayland covered it up thoughts?
Any wayland ship probably had protocols buried deep in mother
To trigger if any unknown signal was picked up by it.
Do we know any details on Alien Awakening yet? I'll do a vid on it soon but last time I checked, there was only info on the fact that it is happening.
David is the most intriguing character in the entire Alien saga.
@@JEMurl I think in writing, yes, and if it was played by any other actor than Fassbender, not quite. His journey into consciousness and understanding is worthy of his own film. They should look the way they look and very little diff between them otherwise.
@@Exile-exe Well, it depends on the host, I guess.
@ that Is exactly what I mean. Host should account for nothing except maybe some coloration variations
This idea out the xeno being as many different racial types are there are biological species.
And within the same hive you have a Dog-alien, and hum-alien, and a predator-alien…all portraying their differences and variation based on this absurd notion, in the same hive…and now add all the other different species that could conceivably be hosts for them on that planet…
Now it’s no longer a xeno, it’s the Thing…this is all just dumb and not thought out well and really should be stripped out of canon.
Here’s a new take…
How about no films anymore. PERIOD!!!!
The reason is, because there are too many whining critical people who don’t get their perfect head movie made for real.
So tired of the crying 🤣
