You aint cheating by looking at the lyrics dude, we all used to listen to this music while looking at the CD insert. Nobody just picks up lyrics when they are being yelled at you :P subscribed.
Just wanted to take a moment to thank you for being so open minded and willing to learn about this amazing genre. Also the lyrics is "get your boogie on" that's why he says later "come dance with me." Much love, mate ❤
A good list of songs from them would be Blind (intro from their first album and was how many of us were introduced to them), Falling Away From Me (MV picks up from the ending of Freak On A Leash), Ball Tongue, Trash, and Somebody's Someone.
This was the song I first heard from Korn when I was 10 years old.. which started me down the rabbit hole of Korn and nu-metal in general. The video seemed like such a middle finger to Hollywood at the time which I loved. My recommendation is to look up the origins of these lyrics because they’re definitely deep and dark. I think you’ll appreciate them more that way. My favorite song off this album is Pretty, I’d recommend that next to listen to. Probably the darkest song off the album too. Lead singer Jonathan Davis was a mortician prior to joining the band and he’s telling a story from that time.
Without a doubt my favorite Korn song. My interpretation of the song is that he asks God why dont you help me? and God answers look at what you already have. In essence, be thankful for what you have.
I heard somewhere that the song sounds like this because metal fans were complaining that they didn't sound "metal" enough. So they went in the opposite direction and made a disco song.
The vid for this beat was dope too. I know there were major cameos in it but the one's that stood out were Dub-C from Westside Connection and Eminem. Johnathan Davis also popped up in a cameo in Busta Rhymes "Fire" vid and Fieldy in E-40's "Automatic" 🤘.
he's just saying he has everything (ie. money, fame, clout, groupies, followers/fans, status, etc....ALL THAT BS) - but doesn't have peace within each day he can "feel IT swallow" ("it" being EMPTINESS INSIDE, which consumes him unhealthily)...so much so that "each day [he] feels so hollow...it's always beating [him]"
I don’t know if you’ve reacted to any Alice In Chains but I think you’d love them. KORN did a tribute of their song Would. Definitely react to the original-iconic master class of a song and band-and then react to KORN’s cover. They put a KORN spin on it and it was fabulous.

Surely "All in the Family" next.
In "Rotting in vain" "BBK" & "Worst is on the way" he does his famous scat voice/breakdown. While "Twist" is All Scat.
Getcha boogie on
Pre fame Eminem and Fred Durst make a cameo in the video.
I heard Eminem tried to talk to one of the members about his music, but the band member was too drunk/high to know what to do.
get your boogie on

Just pull up lyrics or when you do reactions, find the "lyrics" video. You can Google the lyrics before starting to help out
Yes, and please make sure it’s not the clean version.
Listen to Clown! You'll love the drums

Getcha boogie on!
Should have done the music video, it has many cameos from other musicians and rappers
When you ready - “Daddy” 😅
My man, if you want to hear him scat, you have to listen to Twist. He goes crazy
If your looking for another song within this album with a good example of scatting vocals I’d recommend the track “B.B.K”
Yes! Such an underrated track 🔥

Get ur boogie on....🙄
This was introduction to KORN… was unlike anything out and a mix of all the good shit from all genres. (11 yr old me) 🤯
I was also 11. I didn't really listen to music, but my friends were "headbangers." I didn't really like the music they listened to, except Korn.
