Fun fact, this song and video was one of the most requested on Total Request Live (TRL) on MTV when it debuted. And when KoRn played this at Woodstock 99, We all “got our boogie on” 😂
With " falling away from me" you made me cry because you where crying and I understood why you where crying I really felt for you and wanted to give you an good old hug. It shows your not afraid to show your emotions and that is something to be proud of.
brings me back watching fuse and mtv. I remember watching bands like taking back sunday, Korn, blink182, sum 41, flyleaf, good charlotte, deftones, and the bloodhound gang. How i miss that time.
Please do Somebody Someone by Korn. My favorite...still to this day it gives me such massive chills and in such a odd way. My brain seems to always go to Charlie Brown and the Pumpkin Patch....I dunno lol . I guess I heard this song first right when I watched that or something. Anyway. Amazing song and do that one next. LOL
You are my fav reaction person now you beautiful girl you! Love the fact you let the video play and give your thoughts in the caption words. Then when its done you sum everything up! Well done thank you so much this band holds a special place in my heart and in my life!
Great KoRn reaction. The best there is. I know there were plenty cameos in this video, but Dub-C from the supergroup Westside Connection and Eminem were the ones that stood out. Another awesome Korn video that will get you swinging is Twisted Transistor 🤘
The reason for the shock, was that for this album, Follow the Leader, and each song one picks up where the last left off. The beginning of "Got the Life" is the end of "It's On", Freak on a Leash feeds into "Falling away from me" (I highly recommend if you haven't already heard it). There are several that overlap.
I absolutely love watching you watch these videos and hear these legendary bands with fresh, much younger ears. Korn are now officially rock divinity and changed how rock was done at the time, always will love korn. You should react to Kim Dracula. You need to check it out!!!
The song and video is about how they didn't want fame, nor cared about expensive shit, fancy cars and luxuries. They just wanted to do what they liked.
This is my favorite song they do. I interpret it as a person (me) not always appreciating what youve got until someone (God) tells you to take a look at all the good things you have.
I would just blur the video out, its more about the person's reaction, and feelings towards the artists/band/song than the actual video. We used to drag main street listening to korn so much, & spending way way too much on amps and speakers for the car...so much money gone...it was worth it lol
198 like here ^^ hello. I covered this song with my band because I realy wanted to play the bassline. love your reaction and upload! sending you loves and hugs
@6:18 Eminem in the video. Apparently he went there and gave Munky his mixtape and Munky said he would check it out but was a drunk. Then Dre signed him and the rest is history.
I remember hearing Korn, way back in the post grunge days, '93-5 having a huge Dish, in the yard, but...had more to listen to or more musically diverse channels to listen to rather than VH-1 or MTV. dial-up internet, AOL...lol😂
I guess I just hadn't seen this in a really long time, but it had completely skipped my mind that Fred Durst and Jay Gordon were featured right at the end. Boom?
@@jeromyturcotte3733 oh yeah. I was a little tipsy during the follow the leader and issues days lol. Plus they were really released close together if I can remember correctly.
I loved this video so much back in the day. There was such a rejection of the more materialistic stuff that comes from fame. It's cool if its your thing and can handle it all, but it was never something that interested me, so the visuals of them ditching all the expensive wares and performance for executive types to hang out with their friends - the people that truly made them rich - was so important to me.
Eminem was at the party in the last 15 or so seconds of the video. He is in a shot too. The guitarist brian , from korn, said m offered him a mixtape and he either turned it down or didn't listen to it.
I love the end where you see mad cameos from other celebs. Limo bizkit. Pretty sure someone from orgy, and of course UFC legend Tito Ortiz lol. How random
I would love for you to react to some of their newer stuff. There is so any good songs they have made. Try Cold, Idiosycracy, Narcistic Cannibal or even something very different Never, Never,
I think it's funny that for them, the most metal thing they could think to do for this song is to make one of their videos look like the kind of pop videos that filled MTV: cranked-up color saturation, shallow focus wide shots, fisheye lenses, and wealth fetishisation.
Oh no, they didn't give a homeless guy a car and he wrecked it, that was a different car and situation entirely lol They gave him a black car, but the other two band members wrecked a red car. Also check out 'Insane' by Korn, it has a heavy waltz style chorus and the music video is based in very early america. Kind of victorian if you could call it that.
Yeah funny that you mentioned scatting because Jonathan Davis was influenced by blues and jazz scattering and he did a hip hop beatboxing style of scatting
this was my favorite Korn song next to falling away from me. i was between 10-13. man what an era. better song better music vids(next to the 80's), better pizza Papa Johns. also like how you dont interrupt. k bye.
OK after nearly a year of your reaction to the warning it is time to try them out again. Here is a selection of mostly live at a concert in Mexico City. The Warning - EVOLVE (Official Music Video) The Warning - Martirio
Love this channel, so much better than when they pause every 2 seconds, it ruins the song. I’m sorry about copyright, yea maybe blurring/blocking some of the video may help. I’ve also heard that the unstopped music leads to copyright so maybe you could pause once or twice idk
This was the first song/music video I ever saw of KoRn on MTV when I was 13. Had never heard anything like it, was hooked instantly.
Same here!
Debuted on TRL in 1998. A month after TRL debuted with Carson Daly hosting. I was 19. Saw this live at Woodstock following year, great time 🤘
Exactly same here I was 13 when this shit came out it blew my mind and I was a huge rap fan at that time....
I was 11 and that bass guitar hit through my Sony Walkman and my little brain was just like 👁️👄👁️. That’s all she wrote.
it really is one of those songs that’s just so infectious
Fun fact, this song and video was one of the most requested on Total Request Live (TRL) on MTV when it debuted. And when KoRn played this at Woodstock 99, We all “got our boogie on” 😂
Korn is just awesome. So are you and your videos. Awesome stuff.
2:38 JUST THAT ONE SECOND. ALL IT takes. One second and im back to my childhood. Just that classic KoRn sounding agressive riff and drum
I really love this song, brings me back in my teenage years! Great reaction as usual!
I'm biased, I LOVE KoRn. Glad you got to enjoy one of their music videos.
"Thoughtless" or maybe "Somebody Someone" next?
Same here and maybe "Counting on me" also.
Like those, alone I break and shoots and ladders I like also. Assitch too, when I feel jaded and a bit angry😂
With " falling away from me" you made me cry because you where crying and I understood why you where crying I really felt for you and wanted to give you an good old hug. It shows your not afraid to show your emotions and that is something to be proud of.
I love Got the Life from Korn such a great cool song
Thank you Sabine I love how your reactions they are done right no annoying, talking and pauses.
I also appreciate the lack of pausing!
I used to just blast this song from.garage for hrs on repeat while I played soccer in backyard at home. Oh man, to be 15 again....
I try so hard to play the bass line, it's not so good but I really fun when play this song. I love this song and like your react too. Thank🎉
brings me back watching fuse and mtv. I remember watching bands like taking back sunday, Korn, blink182, sum 41, flyleaf, good charlotte, deftones, and the bloodhound gang. How i miss that time.
Back in the days when i was bout 20 and MTV was great and played some fckn awesome music!
I'm happy you are getting to some of their other stuff. I'm always appreciative when some gives them a chance. Thank you.

oh fuck yeah!
Subscribed, I love your style of watching videos completely before commenting on them. Two thumbs up (because more would be freakish...)
Very great live band. One of the best.
Top 5 all time

My pleaure!! Thank you! ❤️💪🏻
This was the first song by Korn that i ve heard, to me this and Blind are the two best!
I always enjoy your reactions and this was no exception. It brought me back to the many times I saw Korn live. Great shows!
This shit is b4 its time❤❤❤
Great KoRn reaction. The best there is. I know there were plenty cameos in this video, but Dub-C from the supergroup Westside Connection and Eminem were the ones that stood out. Another awesome Korn video that will get you swinging is Twisted Transistor 🤘
Tre from "The Pharcyde" was in the video as well.
It’s the guy cleaning the windshield of the Benz and got the keys afterwards.
Sabina what Korn video got blocked? You said it was your favorite. Yes Fieldy is having a field day on bass in this.
The reason for the shock, was that for this album, Follow the Leader, and each song one picks up where the last left off. So cool to (re)listen my fav songs with your comments! Greetings from Brasil
Korn forever California stand the fuck up!!!!!!!!!
HELL YEAH 🤙
One of my favs, one of the og nu metal tracks. And a great message

Next KORN - Thoughtless
6:18 you can see Eminem on the bottom right of the music video
If you were a teen in the 90’s you understand when the song says get your boogie on
The confused look when WC started crip walking had me dying😂
WC? Whos that? I thought thats Fieldy crip walkin
@@JumpinJakalopes WC is from Westside Connection with ice cube and mack 10. He's also c walking on the 1998 family values tour dvd
@3gunstommy Ahh, never knew who he is thx man
@@JumpinJakalopes no problem
I love you reaction ❤ korn!!!
My first song and music video was falling away from me I was 10 yrs old seen it on TRL in 1999 that music video use to scare me as a kid
I didn't got a shock in the beginning. Just a little confusion of the sudden beat change. Love these Korn reactions. Thank you 🧡🙏🏽
My pleasure! ❤️💪🏻
The song and video is about how they didn't want fame, nor cared about expensive shit, fancy cars and luxuries. They just wanted to do what they liked.

Ironically, this song is about Mammon worship
You're so real, nice. Subbed.

Great reaction, I love this song, one of my all time faves by Korn. I request Mudvayne - Death Blooms, or Nothing To Gein next :)
Great sounds they do lots of group today you should watch them live at Woodstock
Fun fact: Fred Durst and Eminem make quick cameos towards the end.
I guess I just hadn't seen this in a really long time, but it had completely skipped my mind that Fred Durst and Jay Gordon were featured right at the end. Boom?
YAAASS!! Great Tune!! I covered it...love me lol
More Korn!!
We NEED the "pain remains trilogy" from Lorna Shore !! 🖤
@6:05 if you can clearly see there's Fred drust ❤
LimpBIZKIT ❤❤
If you look closely at the end you can see a famous rapper that wasn't famous at the time of this video
A.D.I.D.A.S and Shoots and Ladders are a couple of earlier Korn songs worth checking out.
I love KORN !!! (SABINA YOU FORGETHBIRTHDAY DIMASH???, NEW SONG, OMIR ))
Korn selling out was a dark time in metal
please listen Korn - good god
Brian head and munky are so handsome at this time..
Dat bass though
" Make me bad " is a really cool and high budget video from " Korn " off the same album " Follow the leader " you may like that one too.

Eminem was there you can see him in the end trying to give his demo tape away there’s an interview about this.
6:18 is where Eminem is there.

Thoughtless is by far their best
Hey just a little side note. That deep guitar tone is from the “Bass” guitar, not “Base” ✌️
❤
Try their songs tear jerker, counting on me, never never
Sabina Coming Undone is the best Korn song
I would love for you to react to some of their newer stuff. There is so any good songs they have made. Try Cold, Idiosycracy, Narcistic Cannibal or even something very different Never, Never,
Please react to Devin Townsend's song Deadhead live at the Royal Albert Hall.
Your really pretty !!
Thanks!!
Korn ❤❤❤❤❤. Jonathan Davis is the Best.
Anyone else notice Eminem in the crowd at 6:18 ?
May I ask where you live/from? Great job on your videos.
Korn en su época era la mejor
I think it's funny that for them, the most metal thing they could think to do for this song is to make one of their videos look like the kind of pop videos that filled MTV: cranked-up color saturation, shallow focus wide shots, fisheye lenses, and wealth fetishisation.
True fact : Eminem was at the end. They cut it out.
Oh no, they didn't give a homeless guy a car and he wrecked it, that was a different car and situation entirely lol They gave him a black car, but the other two band members wrecked a red car. The intro part is actually so a song called "come on!" and is actually much better than Got the Life imo. Even if it is off TH-cam, worth listening to
“Its On”
