BBK is short for Big Black Kocks. It’s what Jonathan Davis used to call Jack and Coke which was his drink of choice back when he was a heavy drinker. The song is about him having a BBK to cope with pressure from his life
The point/joke was the Jack and Coke was mixed in a tall glass, was actually partially brown due to the intensity of the pour.... then it fucks you as it does.@@becomeaproreacts1536 Overall it's maybe about 'taking the edge off' with a sledgehammer. Then not knowing whether it's night or day. To escape yourself. NIGHT! Love it
I pretty much grew up with this album, I'm not sure if it's nostalgia but I love everything about the songs. Great reaction my man, you actually tried to understand the meaning of what Johnathan said. Definitely earned a sub!
This is one of my favorite Korn songs. I love all the different things they do with guitars, especially when the vocals first come in. It's got a creepy vibe. Also, if you like the Johnathan's scat (and you've already heard Freak on a Leash and Twist), I recommend "Thoughtless" from "Untouchables" (which I consider their last great album).
If your feeling Korn. Check out Korn Good God, Predictable, Twist. Everything from them 2002- back to 1994 is amazing. I recommend starting from their first album and venturing to all their newer stuff. Pretty cool to see their progression and different directions. Korns music is creepy but you can feel the emotion.
Definitely Jonathan Davis. Amazing album. I remember when this album came out. Used to rush home from school to see where they were at on MTV TRL Countdown.
Counting on me and Coming undone are great too Alone I break is weirdly my favourite from untouchables. To me it's the closest they've reached to hip hop, weirdly doing something.... ballady?
If you like KoRn, I think you'd really mess with Deftones heavy. You should listen to "Bored" off their first album "Adrenaline". It was released in 1995. Deftones and KoRn are also good friends!
You can call him JD too! Also👍🏻 that’s what fans also refer him to Head - guitar player Monkey: guitar player Fieldy: bass player David silveria: drummer JD: singer Side note: this album follow the leader was released 1998 and all the names listed above were the current band member names. currently korns original drummer, David, is not in the band he had left 2006. They have had fillers on drums between 2006 2007 and in the year of 2008 their current Drummer by the name of Ray luzier.. ray became their permanent drummer in 2008 and the original bass player is on a hiatus right now I think because of some mental health issues I think associated with drug use, but they have another bass player filling in right now. Just to fill you in if you didn’t know any of this information on the band or how they were currently doing.
SOBER is an iconic Tool song, but their next album after undertow their music just shifts to a whole new level. KORN has a lot of amazing songs. You should listen to ones from their earlier albums, like Mr. Rodgers, No place to hide, Daddy, Kill you. Daddy is a very dark and emotional ingredient disturbing song.
Sounds like he listened to this already, why would you need to pull up the lyrics this is the clearest he sings. Probably listened once prior to recording knowing to stop before he ( Jonathan) starts growling and scatting.

Aye you don't understand how much this feed back means to me 😮

They still put out good music. SOS, the Nothing, and requiem all have bops.
It’s a old head thing for you to say that like nothing after 2002 is good.
Definitely Jonathan Davis. Amazing album. I remember when this album came out. Used to rush home from school to see where they were at on MTV TRL Countdown.
My personal request is thoughtless by Korn. A bop and you will agree my boy. Nice to see someone giving korn love
Counting on me and Coming undone are great too

I don’t know for sure but I think Davis has a chorus or harmonizer effect that makes it sound like more than one vocalist on the track
"Black is the Soul" 🖤
"Twisted Transistor" (Theatrical version ~7 minutes long)
"I'm Hiding"/"No One's There" (Together in the same video, plz)

Also Engine No. 9, it's killer

Love the take. Like what you're picking up.
I like how you're checking out all the songs from Follow The Leader so far. My next recommendation from the album would have to be "Reclaim My Place"
I'm getting myself prep up for the live concerts 🤪
I've seen them live twice they put on a great show
Korn-TWIST
Check out “clown” by Korn!! Awesome song and I think you’ll like the message of it

You like some scatting from Johnathan Davis then you gotta try "Insane"
He should listen to Beg For Me first
In fact the entire "Issues" album
One of my favorites,
If you’re dabbling in metal, try TOOL. I’d watch all your reacts 🙃🙃🙃
I reacted to sober but TH-cam keeps blocking my reaction, 🙄
