There are a lot of great lessons out there in the form of YT videos, books, sites like True Fire et al, but one of the best I've ever seen are Alex Farran's collection of lessons, each one teeming with great ideas and thorough explanations. Alex takes the time to break down each segment of his lessons into understandable chunks. It isn't just copying a bunch of licks, he goes into detail on HOW to use the ideas he presents. The materials - PDFs, GP files, and backing tracks are first rate. Simply one of the best teachers out there, well worth the Patreon fee.
Absolutely spot on. Nobody is creating the calibre of guitar lessons and materials like Alex Farran. These lessons and all he provides on Patreon are just priceless… ❤
As one of the thousands upon thousands of bedroom guitar players everywhere I cannot thank you enough for all your great work. It is such a buzz for any guitar player when you learn something new and your site is a goldmine for that.
Your videos are a goldmine for me. The theory is amazing and you make it sound so logical. It still makes my mind boggle though. And I love the tone on your tele. Do you have the volume control on your guitar quite low? I find my guitar ( or maybe my technique ) always sounds too aggressive and not a sweet. Anyway, keep it up. I’m already a better player by watching and studying your channel. Thanks
@@TheBurners-cn1sr thanks so much for the kind words mate, really glad you enjoy my channel! 🙏🏻 I do play around with the volume and tone controls constantly while I’m playing, but, in this case everything’s just all the way up 👍🏻
What a great video Alex have a good weekend also happy last day of summer also happy first day of fall ❤ 😊 also the guitar is a damn good instrument ❤😊
That was excellent , it might be a stretch but I could imagine some of the George Barnes runs from Lover come back here on TH-cam integrating nicely into this
Again an amazing lesson. Alex thank you for improving my guitar playing that much! I am always blown away by your huge knowledge of chords, scale degrees aso. Do you have an advise how to learn that the best way?
Thank you Michael! 🙏🏻 My advice is to learn these things bit by bit.. song by song. Don’t obsess over racing to the finish line. Just enjoy piecing the information together over time. It is important to make sure it goes in deep though, not just surface level or it’ll soon be forgotten!
