- We rented a motorbike and set off on a road trip around Phatthalung province here in Southern Thailand!
Theres nothing we enjoy more than exploring rural thailand by motorbike. Phatthalung is one of the least explored provinces in all Thailand so we knew we were going to have a good time.
The first leg of the trip took us from Phatthalung city to the town of Khao Chaison. It was such a good day full of the friendliest Thai locals, delicious Thai Street Food, and as always in Thailand stunning scenery.

@@EllisWR thank you 🤠 I think your channel could blow up, that songkran video might give you a good push. I’m curious if you keep your videos saved somewhere. I mentioned before that Facebook monetized and is easier to be approved. It took me 2 weeks and im monetized and the views are much higher than YT. If you save your videos on a hard drive or something then you could just start uploading and see if it takes off.

The flower you ate was probably Dok Kra Don (ดอกกระโดน), which has an astringent taste and used as a body tonic. Southerners like to eat with Khanom Chin and Kaeng Tai Pla. Those two lovely cats came to approach you showing that they trusted you, just as you approached those Thai locals! The fisherman trapped shrimps to feed the wounded falcon that he found. Thank you for taking me online to see "Nam Yen Cave". The scenery is so beautiful, but unfortunately you didn't take a boat ride through the cave. If you could see inside, it would be even more exciting. I love to see everything in this video. Thumps up to you!

Hi Aleisha n Ellis. What a beautiful little town out in the unknown areas. That water area was so refreshing. We did a cave tour in a boat / canoe a few years back. Very dark and claustrophobic. Some areas we had to lay right back. I love watching these new towns you find. By the way your hotel looked awesome. Beware of the monkeys, as i was bitten a few years back on the neck. Left a very nice bruisebut did not break the skin so i did not need any treatment. They also stole my husbands leather hat off his head.They scare me now, but they do look cute. Love the attempt at Aussie accent and slang. Nos da

if your not going to say I will for you, most of Thailand has and is struggling with the air quality due to the burning season and the smog is so bad but yet look at clear the sky is where you are. smart move you two keep them lungs healthy
Yeah we've stayed far away from the smoggy dirty places we don't fancy that atall, throw the extreme heat into the mix aswell and it's a terrible idea

Awesome video - question for you. How easy was it to find scooter rentals in Phatthalung? Were there many options in the main town area, and are you able to tell us where you rented from? We almost went there last year, and were sad to miss, but we're definitely going next year. Thanks!
There's a few shops, in Thailand they are often in the map in Thai language only!
