Nothing is easier to do, but harder to do...than to love yourself. Keep being the example to others that there is a way out, a way forward, with kindness and patience....the self-love will follow🥰

Hi Mark! How are you doing? Uugh as someone who has depression, I so related to the life experiences you mentioned around the second minute mark - even if you have everything together, nothing matters if you can't really hold on to it.
It's so important to keep whatever sparkle of passion and gratitude we can. And no one is going to love our life more than us, so it's fundamental to never loose sight of what we like about ourselves and our spirit 💙

@@marianar2948 i've been doing well thank you. Working everything's been pretty good. And really couldn't have said it better. with depression or when we're in a rut, it's easy for us to be discouraged and forget about those things that make us who we are. But I'm so happy that you can become aware of that and help prevent that from ever happening. Grateful for you to live full of life

This is very valuable. You should talk to schools. Do you?

@@hipslikemonroe glad you think so. And yes, I do talk to schools. I have spoken about mental health before, but in the recent years I'm more speaking to the differently able community of the schools talking about independence and self advocacy. But I have been wanting to get more back into the schools and public to do speaking about mental health. Grateful I'm working as a mental health coach

@@markehlert979You have inspired me for years. I struggle with self esteem and have done since birth basically. I try to do that thing where I force myself to say something nice but something in me just says no you don’t deserve it so I can’t get past that. It’s like addiction you have to be ready to be able to recover. I need to be ready to love myself but I have to work through some trauma first I think..

And I am so glad I can be able to inspire. And yeah, it is a lot like addiction and substance abuse. I do claim that I am someone in recovery. Because it is something we have to want for ourselves. We first become aware of our habits the things we do and want to change, but then we have to actually want it to make those changes. And to keep up with it, and keep those habits so we don't fall back into old ones. It's good to stay in recovery so we keep helping ourselves. And that really does sound very insightful that you have some personal things you need to unpack to bring you to that place. I'm happy to provide information if you ever wanna schedule something so we can do a one on one for you to unpack some things or if you would like to do it in a community session With other like-minded people. But only when you're ready, it's great to be in a good place and only unpack those things slowly and as you're ready for it. It's not good to trauma dump on ourselves
